Plot armor might be the dumbest phrase of all time. Could wesker have just snapped his neck? Yeah but he didn't because he's not supposed to; so instead of chalking it up to "plot armor" which refers to someone never being killed because the story would just stop why not make it not ruin a game you clearly enjoy and just say it's in his character to talk and boast than to act because just saying" hurr plot armor sucks" does nothing except ruin the game you like

Though it doesn't make much sense why he didn't just kill Sheva since he doesn't even know her, now that's actual plot armor
I always make sure to fail every QTE against Wesker and tell myself that's Canon. My favorite one is the one where he flips over Chris and snaps his neck a full 180 backwards. I can't stop laughing every time I get to that part.
