William Birkin is by far my favorite enemy in resident evil, there's just a sense of satisfaction from seeing his gradual transition from a human to a nonsensical mass of eyes, teeth and tentacles.
I JUST realized that Birkin's claws become bloody after striking Claire at 10:25. They're regular beige/white before, then are bloody after. Such a good detail for 1998.
Honestly I did notice it in the past but thought it depended on how much damage Birkin suffered during the fight. The fact that it matches his attacks on Claire instead is definitely impressive for a PS1 game.

I literally find 19:45 so hilarious, because she just shoots Mr. X with that facial expression, lots of camera movement, and her getting slammed on the ground LOL.
32:26 you know there is something terrifying about the fact that G just eats a shot from the rocket launcher and 3 Magnum rounds and 12 pistol rounds before dying. Especially considering the Rocket Launcher, mere moments alone, blew up Mr X like he was glass.
To be fair, That super Tyrant was heavily weakened by the lava it fell to. Which is why he was on fire, if You look at RE3 all the rocket rounds which possibly one of 2 were for the regular mr X and the Super Tyrant is still good after taking those shots, his body is still ok where here the super tyranr blew into millions of pieces, My theory is the Super tyrant being the superior to the regular T-100 it can now absorb a rocket shot just like in the remake takes the shot in hardcore while its heart is exposed like the super tyrant here. Atleast thats the facts I gather from RE3 seeing all those dead soldiers with only 3 Tyrants.
Although my favorite game is Resident Evil 3, in my opinion Resident Evil 2 is the most constructed and beautiful to play of all franchise. Not only because the soundtrack is exceptional, as well game itself manages to guide you to each type of emotion according to the gameplay in a sensational way, not only that but also the story is splendid in addition to being surrounded by a lot of Easter Eggs. After Resident Evil 2, Code Veronica, Zero, 1, and of course 3 are the bests. Despite Resident Evil 4 be a little different from its predecessors, it's still a special game on your own way

RE2 remake is actually solid.. however the RE3 was such a let down.. The original one is my favorite game and they just ruined by cutting most of the iconic segments of the game 😕

Even though the remake makes things mostly simpler with Claire being with Sherry the whole story and Leon and Claire don’t meet as often and that Leon is always fighting the Super Tyrant regardless of scenario and same with Claire fighting Brikin but it’s still the same in almost every way. The G5 Birkin boss I always finish as Claire but I always assume it’s Leon and Claire since the story is about both and while Birkin had more of a presence in Claire’s story.
I remember watching this...I had claire version game,I played it before when I was a kid...when I grow up,I watch all resident evil to find out every story,no wonder sherry from resident evil 6 sound similar,use was actually from resident evil 2 when she was little!

Not going to lie, Williams' final form might be the most monstrous boss in the resident evil franchise in my opinion just because he's this gelatinous blob of flesh that you can't even kill by normal means it has to get taken out by a damn explosion and it might be the contrast between his first and last form that really makes him even more monstrous

It's nice seeing these games in HD but some things clearly we're not meant for that type of enhancement. I prefer the original Ps Version on a CRT. Hides most imperfections. The train boss looked absolutely ridiculous here. Like, even more so. You know what doesn't change though? Still one of the greatest games ever.
