i like all brands of American trucks, although i do find personally that the '20-'22 super duty trucks are the best looking trucks, and the 7.3 V8 is a beast in its own right

Oh hell no! Yeah this is a just a little bit unacceptable. You can barely hear these trucks and sounds no different than a stock 2007 Mercury Montego, and that's a damn shame 🤔 Owners should have just run open manifolds, which is hands down the best setup and provides optimal back pressure and reduced morning commute distance by 127.32 miles on these Chevy/GMC 6.6L's.

I haven't ran cats on my pickups and hot rods in 40 years. My uncle owns a muffler shop and we make everything sound good.
@@Southrn_Maniacyago if youre in an emissions county then yes, if car is 25yrs or older then it doesnt need emissions testing so you could go without, although federally theyre required

@Traverse life if the vehicle had cats from the factory it is supposed to have them. "Supposed". That doesn't mean you can't cut them off, beat the guts out and weld them back on 👍👍

How much horsepower does the race venom dual make? 10-15hp?
i Drive 3/4 ton van so of course I'm going to go with Chevy because nobody else makes a small block 400 for cargo Van from the factory. I believe they're all v6s or four cylinders. And I'm in shock that actually a base engine for the Chevy is a 4.3 V6 I would never take that over a 400 small block. I do handyman type home repairs so I have tools from plumbing to electrical to carpentry to tile to hardwood flooring to roofing you name it I've got the tools for it so I need something that's going to be able to pull some good wait around and not get piss for mileage like a inline 4 turbo or V6 natural or turbo

Them all was weak I got a 2014 chevy silverado LT 4 door 3d cat gone true dulled out one pipe on one side strait back and one pipe on other strait back with 4 inch tips it sounds so good 5.3 v8

Reason I asked is I just ordered a 3.5" vibrant street power muffler for my 6.6L gas and went back to watch your video again and noticed on the vibrant muffler box in your video it showed 3" in/out

@@eloyguzman4372 sorry just seen reply. Yes I installed it but swear the cab drone inside the cab was louder than the exhaust note of that makes any sense. Pulled it off and came across a good deal on someone selling a GM borla catback exhaust and much better, no drone at all
@@briancampbell7892 I’m glad you shared that. I know that an exhaust delete drone will drive you nuts but wasn’t sure about the others. I have a brand new 2024 AT4 HD that wants an exhaust mod and I’m still in research mode

Factory speed limiter on the Chevy is 98mph. Not sure about the gmc.
@@Firefuzz11 well it would be the same thing cuz GMC is just a rebadged chevy and it wouldn't be 98. I haven't drove the 2500's but I know the 1500's and anything in its class can go over 100

Damn I want one of these just for the sound alone. The 6.2L kinda sounds like crap, but this sounds very similar to the 6.0L. Those were their best sounding engines, other than the 4.8L V8 (not 4.3L, everyone confuses the two.)

Lol that’s actually what my truck is 3500 dually crew cab 4x4 with the 6.6 gasser 54k trouble free miles.
Because if someone buys a dually, they want their truck to be a hard worker. And so they get the diesel option. This engine is much better suited to a ¾ ton and that's probably what gm had in mind for it.
It went from 3500 to 2500

I agree with the Vibrant first. In fact I'm tempted to buy that for my 2021 Silverado 3500 6.6 gas now. I would like it to have a nice low tone like that but the truck is used for towing most of the time so I don't want anything loud. And I'm not a fan of the way the truck looked with the dual out look

Gotta love when you guys bottleneck an exhaust a half inch smaller than factory and just make more noise but rob power from it. That first one is just like..why? If you don’t have 3.5 inch or 4 inch pipe you just need to turn jobs like that away.

order a 2024 it will have the 10 speed transmission not the 6 speed
And the update dashboard and interior
