You had me tearing up when you first brought Lidi her first baby. The way she looked at her baby then looked at you... Your face had love all over it. A touching moment. It's easy to see that you guys love your goats and take great care of them. Well done Lidi!!
Absolute proof that our pregnant does should be checked 2x a day as they get closer to their dates. You are an amazing teacher, many of us have improved our skills and our herds because you have taken the time to show us how it should be done, from kidding to hoof trimming! Although I have not perfected the art of clipping, looks more like a rabid beaver got ahold of my poor goats 😂😂😂😂😂.

With every goat's birth, I catch myself panting along with them and feeling their pain. God bless her. When Lidi cry's out I want to cry. Poor girl. She did a wonderful job.
I know! I remembered my Lemaze class breathing techniques! I’m sure anyone whose had a baby can sympathize. The goats are much more quiet though in general. I worked in a hospital and could sometimes hear the women in labor all the way down the hall and around the corner! Good times.

I love this video short sweet and all the good parts. Now we have 4 doelings with Honey and Pepper for 2022. I called my girls to tell them we have new babies. All they said oh mother you and your goats. But they watch the videos with me.

I love watching the babies
So sweet! My son and his girlfriend just started goat farming and of the 4 goats there was 2 sets of twins and 2 singlets. Of the 6, there was only 1 girl. This was our first time birthing and they all did well. The first ones came when it was a balmy 25 below zero so we had the big Nipco heater roaring and lots of towels that we kept warming and exchanging to get them wiped down as fast as we could go because being wet in this kind of cold would drop their body temperature so quickly. These little animals are so amazing in what they can do all on their own. We kind of hovered with those first 2 as first time parents do but quickly realized that they really don’t need much intervention beyond that vigorous wipe down. We had nice little pens set up with a heat lamp and they were all cozy with mom and found the milk. We worried and wondered if they were getting anything but heard that if their tails were wagging that means they’re getting the milk and they certainly were wagging like crazy. It was such a fun experience and the start to many more to come once we get the herd built up. These goats are really such fun little animals with their own personalities.

I agree with those people who said that you are the most professional, the most caring and knowledgeable goat owner. Some people think it’s enough to buy goats, have them reproduce and show it to people. They have no care in the world and keep those goats in poor conditions, dirty, sick and cold. I always recommend them to watch your videos so innocent goats do not need to suffer!!!

I still remember when Lidi was born and Lodi was having trouble… I remember you looking up to your hubby all worried and he comforted you…telling you it was going to be ok…. It felt so special to be able to witness such a personal moment

What a perfect birth. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of births. I have 3 forms of arthritis which doesn't allow me to do much these days. I had to give up raising my Nubians many years ago. Your channel gives me so much joy especially during kidding season. Thank you for this. It helps me get through my painful days by watching you with your herd. It's like being there. You are such a blessing!

@@hanorabrennan9202 yes I do. I'm in south eastern New Mexico USA. It's very dry and considered part of the desert however not as desert as Blue Cactus Dairy Goats. I've always wanted to see Ireland. The pictures I've seen are so beautiful.

I absolutely love your Channel, 66 year old woman who grew up on a farm I love watching all the animals give birth no matter what they were, but we never owned any goats even when I begged and barter to have one. If I had a bucket list coming to see your farm to see the mother goats give birth would be one of my top five picks.
