Happy to see your boys. Would love to thank you for all the wonderful information I have learned watching your channel. Goat care, kidding and soap making information has been super helpful to us. Which I now feel I have finally found my calling at the age of 65. I have enjoyed watching almost every episode you have posted and learned so much! I have learned the ins and outs of it all and loving our new lifestyle raising goats.
My journey has been amazing, so far. Find myself asking, "What would Cystal do?" I started my herd last Oct 2022 with four Nigerian Dwarf which by March of 2023 we had 5 Nigerians more gave to us. We then had 4 pregnant does. Kidding in the spring brought us 5 new kids, 2 (twin) does and 3 buckling's. Looking for a poled blue eye male over the summer, we came a crossed one and was gifted a 2 year-old male. He was an only male on a nearby farm, they could not keep him because he was always getting out and in with their girls and they didn't want to breed anymore. I had just started drying up the girls so that I could start breeding in November. Luck for us, we were gifted our blue eyed, poled male! After we got him to the farm and in with our males, he seemed to be much happier being with other goats. Then I introduced two of my new buckling's in with them as well. When I did, I made the mistake of putting the igloo in the pen for the buckling's and did not secure it in place, which Woody use to hop over the fence into the girl's pen, Mid-October my breeding season began. We are only using Woody for breeding this year in hopes for some blue eyed, poled girls. As for now we have 17 Nigerian Dwarfs and one female Nubian, who is a wonderful milker as well.

Omg so many bucks and Huck is a definite Lucky buck mini-me. I can’t wait to see what Argon will produce…..(Swiss doe for you?)… so I hope you get your Swiss Doe. The buck power you have this year is crazy they all are wild ones this go around. Champ has slowed down, Marshal had energy and lost energy. Poor Legend has to be sweeter to the girls to get them to love him. Vader is still the quiet one but is swooning them does. Two does are down in the books as bred but whom is next. Soon the boys will be calmer soon and then the baby making will be in full swing. Let’s hope the group grazing will be interesting with these crazy boys. 🌵🐐

Is Champ still the big dog in the buck pen or has Legend finally taken the lead? Legend reminds me of Lucky. Little Huck Buck is precious and I hope when he gets more mature that he gets his daddy's wild eyes. That was one of the things I loved about Lucky...his wide-set eyes. 🥰
