The way Gallop ran around the store and barked while greeting you was so cute! I’m glad Elton got to meet Lavender and Gallop!
No matter the size of the dog, it’s the cat that will always be the boss.
she mentions a woodwick candle as the gift is opened and triggers the need for me to light my woodwick... now my house smells like Frasier Fir.

It's so cute that Gallop works not one, but TWO part time jobs in his retirement! He was such a hardworking guide dog, so it's fitting that he stays busy even now.

Haha the way you causally said Gallop has two retirement jobs ... LOL! I thought you were talking about your dad at first. I had to rewatch. You need to do a video of Gallop's day at work at both his jobs. I would love to see it!

See, the reason Elton's excitement was scaring Lavender is because of the fundamental disconnect in their body language. For cats, a fast-swishing tail means agitation or aggression. For dogs, a fast-swishing tail means happiness and anticipation. So while Elton was trying to say 'hi, new friend!', Lavender was seeing 'I want to rip you apart'.
I think this is one of Elton John's best days ever. He's super excited that he gets new friends (esp because one is a cat)
A cat? he thinks's she's a squirrel! LOL
I thought their interaction was a bit strange at first, since Elton, like your other three guy dogs, was raised with cats in the kennels.

If you haven’t already you should make a video explaining where Gallop & Lavender went while you were training with EJ, why that’s part of the process, and how long that was.
They went to live with Molly's dad I believe :)
So sweet that Gallop gets to work still, albeit as a greeter. I get the feeling those doggos will always want to do something and it warms my heart to think he gets to be helpful even if it’s not what he used to do.☺️
As a cat mom of 4 I can def say Lavender's tail positions through out the video say shes going to be happy as can be.

Gallop being retired and having a greeter job is the cutest thing ever
Lavender had her tail up and curled immediately after leaving her carrier. It only swished a little but when she first met Elton. That is a happy, confident kitty!
Oh the reunion with Galopp was the most heartwarming thing I've seen in a while. The excited high pitched bark ❤️

Another thing to consider about Elton is that he is so much younger than the other dogs were when they met Lavender. He is still very much a puppy in many ways, so he is going to get much more excited in these situations. Plus you have to consider the way that the stress of the move affected him as well. I am sure that he will settle down really quickly, if he hasn’t already.

Elton John was being so respectful, that bow he took is a playful stance that was his way of differing respect to Lavender. It’s not as concerning as you’re thinking. Lavender will adjust because Elton John will win her over 💜

That’s so nice to have Gallop and Elton together. You can notice that Gallop’s love for you has not changed. He showed everyone with his barks at the store.
I know lots of people told you that blonde was your color, but this ginger/strawberry blonde is definitely it!! It looks so good! And now I want to change my hair to red again 😅
Love the new hair color! Loved how Gallop greeted you at Dwell! He was so excited to see you! Lavender walking all around was classic curious cat and the boys just want to play and have fun! Between Molly's outfit matching the sofa one day and her hair matching the walls another day, seems like an extremely positive vibe going on. Cats are very judgey, but Lavender will settle in just fine. Smart tactical move on the catnip infused scratch board placed near Elton! Wonderful to see the family reunion in the impressive new living quarters. FYI be sure to keep Lavender's grooming and (Greenies) hairball control chews on a regular schedule to forestall the unseasonable arrival of the coughed up hairball😉
Someone loss their cat to eating greenies. She has a video out talking about it. Just want to put that out there.
@@Fairies00 So sorry. I have been giving it to my cats for years. Like with any medication or food one can overdose or develop an allergy. Always read instructions and check ingredients with a Vet before administering to any animal.
Its seeing a whole other side to galop! I always thought of him as stoic and calm so to see him this excited was so heart warming and lovely to see

As the owner of a cat who doesn't like strangers of any kind, this was super interesting to watch! I love seeing all of the trial and error in acclimating new animals to each other

My cat really enjoyed watching Elton and Gallup run around against a high contrast light color floor. She even poked at the screen a few times. She might've thought they were birds tho haha. She is mostly deaf and slightly blind so very few things actually catch her attention on screens. Glad all is well in the Burke household!

That hiss was just a “hey, back off” type of hiss. She wasn’t Super scared, just trying to tell the giant energetic bowling ball she needed space. 😂
I was away from my cat for over 2 years, and he is the most loving cat ever. He's been with me now for a year since our separation. He's a little annoyed with me about having to stay in my bedroom (part of the house is off limits due to a safety issue...just until I can get it fixed), but still lays on me quite a bit.....not to mention demanding attention...lol

I haven't watched Molly's channel for a while, and today this one popped up in my suggestions, so I'm going by what I've read in the comments. It's unlikely Molly would keep both dogs, once Gallop was retired. I'm glad Molly's parents will be his guardians.
