Gypsy _definitely_ made it clear that her human was Molly. The only place she’d guide any of the other humans in the class was to Molly.

You said about Option E "I think this is great for my anxiety" and I think that's exactly what he's doing. He knew you were upset, and so he sat on you to help you calm down (and make you laugh). He's seeing eye yes, but he has some natural Anxiety dog going there too.

I would say that “E” picked you and when he sits on your lap he’s protecting you! To me he’s your dog!

Option E so clearly knew you needed him, he will not only be a good guide dog, but also a good therapy dog for when you are feeling anxious or upset. What a lovebug! I know you left us on a cliffhanger but I hope you get to keep him and that you have a very, very long and happy career together.
The teddy bear dog has told you that he is yours he keeps sitting on you saying nope we are stuck together for ever. I love it and I hope all goes well for you and your family much love from the Blanton family.

I thought C was a quiet underdog to be honest, I fell in love with her as soon as I saw her, she feels like a little Molly in dog form. She's also so different from Ben and Gallop.
Having said that, Bear is an absolute sweetheart and he seems like he loves Molly already.

you could tell from the original reveal of all the dogs that molly would pick option E, you could tell how much she loves him, and a big strong bear seems exactly what she needs lol. I actually liked the other two dogs more- but from a personal standpoint. i tend to pick smaller, calmer female dogs as I have chronic fatigue. It's fascinating to watch Mira allow molly to pick which personality and work style she wants best for her- even if I'm always bummed to see my personal favorite options good-bye!
Agreed! I realized I picked my favorite based on what *I* would need/want from a service dog (I'm severely disabled and a huge dog lover so I know what I like in dogs). Ginger was GORGEOUS, goofy, and would be a fantastic conversation starter. I could play with dogs all day, so his energy would match mine. I'm becoming more extroverted and love meeting new people, so Ginger could have been my "in" with new people. He also looks like dogs I loved as a child.
I love how gingy is called prince. He is totally a prince who knows he’s beautiful 💜💜 also I love how teddy bear thinks he’s a lap dog 🤣🤣
I feel like option C being tiny is good for your frequent travel but option E is better for your need for a dog who physically looks protective when you’re alone in the city and can overtake a “bad guy” if needed.

There’s such a spark of joy in your eyes when you talk about option E. I’m praying that he works out for you, because even if you guys haven’t fully bonded, I can see the potential of a great and loving partnership.
Option E’s whole body language towards you makes it clear that he’s already made a connection with you. He literally lays or sits on top of you and tries to make eye contact with you frequently. He’s super comfortable with you. I know you said you struggle with bonding but I agree that this is due to the heartbreak you went through. His body language says something different. ‘I will make you bond with me Molly’. Option C is cute and compact and I see the benefits. Especially with travel. But her body language isn’t the same. She turns away from you. Not nrcessarily a bad thing. She just has a more reserved character. Which means bonding will take longer. So as long as you feel comfortable working option E (purely as a mobility aid) he is the better option. He already picked you. Now.. I hope I’m right and that you’re not sitting at home with option C by your side while you read this. 🤣 I’ll have to wait and C… no… Wait on E. 😛

I think she had, and I can´t see the trainers disagreeing(since they told her from the start that this time they where s close matches that she could focus on the dog she had most conection with.
I can’t see them disagreeing with both Molly and Little Bear on this either. He’s definitely decided that his place is with her, kind of like Gypsy did.

Option E was my top choice! But honestly if travel and size is a concern…. He should get the chair and you should get the floor because he is significantly bigger than you 🤣. I also love his personality !! But we need a Nala stomp video if you do end up with him! 💕 so happy for you to see how far you’ve come in just a couple weeks.

There’s no way Little Beat is going to sit on a chair if Molly is sitting on the floor. The only two places he could possibly want to sit if she’s on the floor are next to her and in her lap.
E seems very empathetic. You knows you hurt and is trying to “help” you. He’s adorable but it’s your heart he seems to be tuning into. Best of luck! C will be great for a beginner or someone who isn’t looking for a best friend/partner. And steady is fine but I think Bennix would choose E for you, he’s different enough but still a goofy guy. 💕💕

Yeah it makes me sad how quickly option C was dismissed especially since she is so much like Gallop. It’s like dismissing both of them
I don't have a guide dog just a normal dog but she's also reliable and quiet but man let me tell you she's been the most wonderful best friend for these last 9 years she's just not as touchy or cuddley as others
it's also even more special if she does come cuddle

E genuinely thinks he’s a tiny baby lapdog and I honestly love it when big dogs think they’re tiny babies. He’s definitely my favourite now. I would’ve loved to see more of the Diva Prince obviously but I think E is such a good fit for Molly!

Side note; I met a guide dog who “failed” out of guide dog training school today. He was a purebred golden retriever, and so so so sweet!
I admit, I'm still rooting for option C. The way she looked at you in the previous video... I kinda think option E would sit in anyone's lap, just a big ol' love bug. But C was trying to tell you she has your back. The two of you together is pure Girl Power!
I wish I knew more about option C. She's not described much by commenters, and I'm blind, so this makes getting a sense of who she is extremely difficult to almost impossible.
I want option C for myself. lol But I love the idea of girl power, and sometimes switching genders from one dog to the next is helpful, because it's just one more difference.

@@AmyAndThePup option C is almost completely black except for a little bit of white on the top of her nose and a small, vertical streak of white going between her front legs. She seems to have waves in her hair, especially around her neck, ears, and face. We didn't see her a bunch, so I did the best I could!
@@AmyAndThePupfrom my perspective she is a sweetheart and not dificult at al, a very calm and sweet dog that I think deserves the label reliable. Its a smaller dog than the others but stil pretty big, with very sparkling eyes that look at you full with love. Also her fur is very dense but not very thic or extreemly long, just shiny and fluffy. She has white markingsgs on her face in particular around her nose and chin and a small white stripe from the nose to in between her eyes. And an other white marking at the front of her chest. Im sorry for typing errors my vision close up is a blur.I hope I helped out and have a nice day!
I think females take longer to show their personality. They never seem to be goofy like the boys. The girls are deep though and have plenty of personality for the people they love.
That's kind of funny how in your top 3 you had a Gypsy, a Gallop, and a Ben personality to choose from. That's just so sweet how you can't go wrong because you have had a connection with each personality and now you get to pick which personality type will fit you more for this next stage in life.

Judging by Molly's reasoning for the past 2 guide dogs, it seems like she's looking for great qualities of a Psychiatric Service Dog as well. Which I think is really great that she's realized, bc she's mentioned having some mental health hurdles she deals with, she really deserves the world. I'll always have a place for Molly in my heart because she inspired me to get my disability diagnosed and get the Psychiatric Service Dog I needed. I really wish MIRA trained PSD's for people other than veteran's.
I read somewhere that they are thinking of branching out/have branched out to placing some of the dogs in police stations to help emotionally suport trauma victims while giving statments:), and are thinking of starting a program for psyciatric service dogs.
I laughed so hard when you explained the ginger was a “prince” who knew how beautiful he was and was higher maintenance, dogs are just too funny with all their unique quirks 😂 and E is such a goofball sitting on you and stealing your teddy!
I know you can't see it when he does this, so I just want to let you know that when you walked into the room, he was looking at you with just so much adoration and started wagging his tail. I think it makes sense that you're still early in the bonding phase, but this fluffy and loving guy is asking you permission to please be your new best friend. He wants to make you smile. He has some big shoes (paws?) to fill, but I think he's up for the job
This is exactly what I saw in the other video. As soon as he saw her he started looking like he loved her and wants to be with her. I hope she is able to choose him because he's already with her 100%
Its been clear from the get-go that option E is the boy who has her heart and thats what she needs.
Im proud of Molly she has her priorities straight and went for whats in her heart over outter flashyness of the red dog.

My assistance dog chose me by sitting on my lap and staying there! I was supposed to be getting her brother but she decided that wasn't happening. I kept popping her off onto the floor and she just came right back onto my lap again. Been together 3 years now as I'm writing this she's lying across my lap 💜

Everything about E is right. The way his tail would hit you when you walked with him, the way he reminds you of all three of you previous guide dogs, and the way he looks at you and protects you. 🥺❤️ Travel will be hard since he is big, but Molly, you are so smart and Gallop was big too, so you got this! (I know Ben didn’t get to be with you as long as he could’ve been and getting use to option E will take a while, but this will definitely be worth all the heartache. Grieving is okay and takes time, but having something to distract you, like a new guide dog, will be well worth it in the end. You’ll always miss Ben, but hopefully over time it will gets easier. The new guide dog will be able to help you through this rough time.) ❤️❤️❤️ You got this!
Obviously, this hasn't been easy for you, but I am so happy that you chose to share this with us. It's important for people to see that there's a lot to consider when choosing a service animal. Not every animal is trained for every job. Even with the exact same training, not every animal is a fit for every person. They're not programmable robots, that automatically do their job for any person. They're very much individuals, with their own personalities. You have to find one whose personality suits yours, with the training that fits your specific needs. I'll be starting my own search soon, as my Service Dog is just over 10 years old, and starting to slow with age. 🤠👍
Just to see you smile, especially with option E says everything. Even with all the pain, remembering where that smile is and how to make it come out means everything!
My husband was in a major accident where he broke his pelvic bone in the front and back and broke 3 vertebrae. After months in the hospital and having to learn how to walk again we got him a pitbull puppy. Immediately she took to being his support. She is so intuitive and is always there for him. He wakes up with night terrors caused from the accident and she is always there ready to lay on his chest until he is calm. Dogs are amazing and I hope you have a long happy life with your dog.
Option E had my vote before you even narrowed them down. It wasn’t a question. I have a feeling about him 🥰

I hope Mira has mental health practitioners throughout these kinds of processes! Lot's of emotions I'm sure and I'm hoping that they have either a Social Worker or a Psychologist. This can be a lot for people mentally and emotionally as well as physically.
She mentioned in one of her previous videos that she’s going to be in contact with her regular therapist who’ll do her best to be there for her during this challenging period!
I know she said in her video announcing Ben’s retirement that she sees a therapist regularly anyway. I’m sure she’s adding a few extra sessions right now
I love how the biggest dogs are always the ones that are convinced they are lap dogs and honestly they are 🥰🥰 I know this is an extremely hard process that is probably mentally, emotionally, and in someways physically draining, and although I’ve never met you before, you are still one of the strongest people I know!
I really wanted C to be the one because she is like molly in dog form, so small and cute. But E is so much the clear choice. When I saw the clip with him in the last video I was like "oh, that's DEFINITELY her dog"
Same. My thought process was that since she had a hyper one (Ben) prev it'll be nice to have a mellow doggo, since it was a traumatic parting n there should be significant difference. But it all depends on vibes, which we can't really get.

The paw thing is so cute on the first dude. Bernese mountain dogs are related to Great Pyrenees dogs when they helped flesh out the line ages ago and the paw thing is a HUGE Pyr trait. He reminded me so much of my livestock guardian dog who does this to me all the time. I call it her friendly punch.
Another Pyr owner who is used to those friendly punches from all of them ahaha.
My Irish Wolfhounds do the love tap too, which is a little bit like being punched. They are just showing affection so I accept those love taps. 😁

I'm a veterinarian and my favorite exam is one performed with my patient sitting on me! I've never owned a dog that does that, but have met quite a few at work! It makes me giggle just like you Molly 😂 I think the fact that Option E is able to give you so much joy through the immense pain you're feeling is a very promising sign! And the deep pressure therapy benefit is great!
I have a Bernese and let me tell you Option E, the pawing, sitting on you and cuddling is SUCH a Berner trait! He’s a total Bernese personality and I am here for it.
Option E AKA Bear just seems like he chose you! He seems to have the knowledge that you need a big teddy bear and sitting on your lap is what you need at this juncture! I can't imagine them changing him out on you at this point. He was their first choice to begin with. When you showed him to us last week, I just felt like he was your new dog. Although I loved the Ginger, the big bear just seemed so perfect for you.

He acting like my 9 month old golden retriever puppy. Utterly clueless about his size , full of love, wanting attention and stealer of items ( golden ninja) but he not as slick as he thinks he is. The full on groggy legs / I’m a bear rug.

Oh those would be my top two for you! Option D knew he was beautiful but maybe a bit cliché as you’re a TH-camr. I’m torn between Option C and E. Option C seems like a fabulous little lady to add to the Burke women, and her personality is like Sir Galloper Gooseman which would have been perfect. And I want to see her against Gallop for the lols 😂. But Option E is a funny little teddy bear, and I can imagine him hitting your bum with his tail in time to music 🤣

I grew up with Newfies and Option E reminds me so much of my dogs growing up! I know he’s not a Newfie but the lap sitting is so much like them! He seems like a sweetie and sending you all the good vibes with this transition 💜

While I loved the ginger dog, I didn't think he was the best one for you. After the first video, I picked option C, the little petite girl. Her calm nature and steadiness is what attracted me. But after seeing this video ... I think option E picked you. lol! So I'm changing my guess to option E. I know that's cheating a little, but ... the last dog I acquired behaved in the same was towards me and he's the most into me dog I've ever worked with. (I compete in obedience, I don't have a guide.) But now I'm on pins and needles waiting to find out who you picked!
