I loved seeing Molly’s handwriting, that was so sweet to see you do something that you don’t do normally for the sentimentality of it.
I legit spaced out that she was blind for a second when I saw it and I was so confused as to why it didn’t look like a typical person’s handwriting. Then it dawned on me that I’m an airhead.

Or, more accurately, a typical adult’s handwriting, because it looks like it’s “frozen” at the stage when she stopped seeing well enough to write.
@@ragnkja i think the size of the letters also plays a large role, since she never had full vision she probably always wrote quite big letters to be able to see them. I honestly was surprised how good it looks and how easily it can be read, since she said she hasn't written in years and probably never did it as much as sighted students

I LOVE THIS. Because you film a lot of your content with just you and your mom, it’s easy to forget that you have a brother and think of you as an only child. Watching you banter with your sibling gives me a fuller picture of who you are. Thank you for sharing!

My grandma is also blind, and seeing you write a letter made me think of my wedding card that my grandma made a point of writing out. It was the first time I got a card that she had written for me herself. It may not seem like much, but it is so special!
It was the same every time my grandmother wrote me a card. She was legally blind because age is a thing. I really loved her hand writing and loved when she wrote me cards.

I know in previous videos Molly said Gallop responses better to her French (even though it’s not always accurate pronunciations) compared to proper French. It would be fun to see how Elton John (and Gallop) respond to Molly’s French commands vs Leah’s
I think it has more to do with the fact that MIRA trains the dogs to listen to mostly only their handlers to avoid confusion. Other schools do the same as well. My best friend is blind and used to have Mira dogs. That's on one of those training camps that she met Molly, when Molly was there for Gypsy. And that's how I came to learn about Molly's channel, a few years ago. But yeah, when my friend leaves her dog with me so she can use a public bathroom, I know better than to try to give commands as all the dogs would ignore me except for Wait/Attends. Which is fine with me honestly, as long as they don't pull to go with her, I am ok with that.
It’s not a Molly thing. She’s trained by Mira in French.
@@ashruz_3095 I think OP means "would a MIRA dog respond "better" to Molly's anglicized french pronunciation or to a native french speaker" not razing Molly's pronunciation because she learned her french commands from MIRA.
Molly has mentioned that when her mom tried to command Gallop to sit ( and she knows a lot of it from being with them a lot) Gallop refused to listen until Molly did it. I think it’s more of the dog knowing who it should listen to at the situation. I say this because of the last video where Elton John was at the vet and did properly listen to the doctors asking him to sit ( in French after being told)

That's a great story about the restaurant and it being so dark that they couldn't see well enough to eat and you were just eating away like there was nothing to it. It's amazing how other senses take over when you lack a sense.

For warm weather situations like this, when Elton John is not in harness, consider using a cooling vest. You soak it with water before you put it on him, and it will help keep him cooler. You can also use a cooling mat for him to lay on when he is in harness . I live in Florida, and we use cooling vests, bandannas, and a cooling mat too help keep our dog cool on the really hot days.

I hear a bit of Irish in him, probably from growing up with his parents' Irish accents
Since he's been living in Ireland and England for almost six years, I'd guess it's that! He now says things like "bin" and "flat" instead of "garbage" and "apartment" LOL
I heard some slight French bits in there too (“happy” and “to me”). I worked with some French coworkers here and there for 7 yrs)

I was sad to hear that you stopped playing board games. So much happiness seeing the whole family in one video (at least the humans). Glad we know where Elton's retirement home will be, at least with whom. Brady has such an interesting accent with touches of Canadian, Irish and something else I couldn't quite identify.
