Just came across your video. Your hair looks similar to my hair about 3 years ago. I'm low density medium texture. I had hair loss over the years. I completely changed my routine and exclude sulphates, drying alcohol and silicones. My hair is completely different now. Some things you should think about is hard water buildup. I grew up in Reading however live in US. I didn't realise hard water can be damaging. Look into using a chelating shampoo to remove mineral buildup. Also think about sleeping on a silk/satin pillowcase. You can also use like a scarf/buff to protect your hair. I too was losing definition post wash day till I started to protect my hair. I would also try and not use too much product to refresh hair as it can cause buildup and with low density it's not great. Good luck with your hair. As you get into routine you will see changes however it varies from person to person.

Thanks so much for these tips! I grew up in Salisbury and live in London so have always washed my hair in hard water. It didn’t occur to me this could be damaging my hair. I’ll try using a chelating shampoo and see if it makes a difference. I’ve been meaning to buy a silk or satin pillow case for ages but haven’t gotten round to it! So many people have advised me to get one. Thanks so much for all your tips and for sharing your story with me. 🙂

Thanks for watching! I would recommend the OGX Liquid Pearl shampoo and conditioner - this one worked the best on my hair 🙂

Thank you for replying but in India it's not available. I am confused between argan oil, kukui oil and kertain oil??

@@priyankasharma5710 I have reviews of each of these shampoos… personally I think the Argan oil of Morocco is the best out of the three. The keratin oil is good for strengthening the hair if it’s brittle, and the kukui oil is great for reducing frizz. I liked the Argan oil best though because it leaves your hair really shiny and smooth, and it also has the nicest fragrance I think. Sorry I didn’t realise you couldn’t buy the Liquid Pearl shampoo in India ☹️

@@ukbeautyroom Thank you so much for sharing your experience. I am still very confused because of the ingredients it uses. And also nowadays CG friendly method is being recommended. So i am still searching. Still thank you

@@priyankasharma5710 unfortunately most OGX shampoos are not curly girl approved. There’s a post on my website which lists the ones that are… sadly most of them are not available to buy here in the U.K. ☹️
