My waves look fantastic doing all of that EXCEPT when my hair needs to go back to right side up, it turns into an absolute mess, no amount of head shaking will make it go right, so I need to use a comb, and it ruins all the work. When I style right side up, my hair looks so flat, I look like a cocker spaniel.
Happens to me too, try styling your hair normally, but don’t do the plop and let your hair dry with different side parts to add more volume, also flip upside down occasionally and gently
I was having that trouble too. So what? I started doing was turning my head right side up and parting it. Where I normally part it and brushing it the way. I normally brush it, so it's all in place. Then I flip my head back upside down and I brush it forward and do my scrunching and I put my fingers at the scalp and kind of loose in it. So it's not attached to my scout, but i'm not messing up the part. And then I turn my head to the left and scrunch. And turn it to the right and scrunch. And turn it back upside down and scrunch. And then when I turn my head right side up. I don't flip it. I roll it gently to the right. Or left and then back and then lift my head up. Everything falls into place better that way.
Great video 😊 finally a TH-cam channel that caters to 2a hair! Can you make a video about how you refresh your waves throughout the week? Like for day two or day three hair?
My hair is straight at the top but wavy from my ears and down. It also tends to be frizzy and very tangled no matter what I do, also my right side always tend to end up better than my left side for some reason.
Thank you so much! I would like to know more about on how to take good care of wavy hair. Mine starts at the roots and I've rebonding it for 13 years since 16 y/o and now I finally decided to bring back my curls . Hope you can give me more tips
Leaving conditioner designed to be washed out in your hair could damage the hair/scalp....anyone planning on doing this just be aware of that. Some people have allergic reactions that could result in hair loss or scalp irritation.
I'm definitely picking up that mousse. I tried the mousse gel from AG Care and it just wasn't doing it for me. Thank you for all your wonderful tips and tricks! Cheers! 😊
I think this may help. My hair often has a slight wave to it below my ears and I've been wondering if it's naturally wavy, but I'm just not taking care of it. Let's see how this works! ty!!
@@feagerbrim.1744 lol, it kind of worked. But it didn't get all that much more wavy than normal. Maybe I need to let it dry almost fully while all scrunched haha
Your hair is so very pretty..My waves are 2a when I scrunch my hair up from being washed it’s very curly wavy but waves seem to drop a lot I have one length medium thickness hair which is below my shoulders all one length
Your hair is gorgeous. I have a hard time trying to figure out how to get the clump. I have always had very very straight hair, but now that I’ve gone through menopause and my hair is turning gray. I have found that I have a bit of a wave and I’m trying to figure things out.
Hi! My tangles are horrible too. Some of my favorite conditioners with the most slip are the Not Your Mother Naturals conditioners and Biolage conditioning balm ☺️
Thanks for your video, this is helpful. My almost 13yo daughter has very similar hair to yours and she's really struggling with tangles. Do you have any suggestions for bedtime routine with long wavy hair? Do you use any products or put it up a certain way before bed? Thanks!
Question! I had mid-back length hair, but then I cut it to my shoulders with layers to match my face shape, but now my waves barely hold a wave, whereas before I had 2b that had ringlets at the bottom. I’ve always heard cutting your hair shorter makes the curls tighter because it’s lighter, so how come mine almost disappeared?
i pretty sure i have longer hair than you, and I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong because no matter what i do my curls only stay on the ends of my hair and the rest is at first straight but then it turns into a frizzy mess. any tips on how to fix this? many people say that if this happens then i Don't have curly or wavy hair, but i can see the curls clearly when my hair is wet and it's making me mad that i can't get my curls to form correctly. Should i cut my hair so that it's not weighing down the waves? judging by the way the ends of my hair form I'm a 2B curl type. I've been using heatless curlers to make my hair wavy but there's just this feeling with me that only if i knew why my waves are acting so weird and how to fix it i wouldn't need to force my hair to curl until any kind of curling device. please someone help I'm getting desperate
A wave is up and down, a curl makes a circle. The smaller circles make tighter curls. The bigger circles make loose curls that end up looking more like waves. Some people have multiple patterns on their head. Gotta study your hair to figure it out. Best of luck
Yeah, it looked to me like she had a combo of waves and curls, which is what I tend to get. Maybe she's just playing it safe by saying "wavy" so people don't attack her in the comment section lol

When I was in middle school, I had this teacher that looked like a cocker spaniel. I now realize she had curly hair, just unmanaged.

You are changing my life right now, we have basically the exact same hair

Did you find a routine for your hair? I have the same hair type/issues

For those with sensitive scalps or allergies, absolutely. I’ve been doing this for about 5 years now with great results though 😊
Gorgeous hair!!!
You have such beautiful hair!
Omg this was a GODSEND thank u so so so much
How to maintain the curls when sleeping ? Or freshen it again the next day
Braids are good way to protect your hair during your sleep! Or put your hair in a bonnet (idk your curl type) and sleep in it?
Silk bonnet and silk pilowcase

Thanks so much for this video! 🙂 How do you maintain your curls until the next time you wash it. Mine always goes frizzy.
Do you have low porosity hair? I am trying to find someone who has my 2b low porosity, fine hair. Thank you! I enjoyed your video!
Hi Katherine, tysm for this video..I have major tangles 😢so I'm on the hunt for a conditioner with alot of slip for my fine long hair...

My biggest tip is to not sleep with it down. I put mine in a veryyy loose bun every night. Saying pillow cases help a ton too to prevent tangles 😊

Does this routine help you with frizz? That is my biggest issue atm
Doesn't scrunching hurt/break the hair? I'm always scared of that..
Are the results different if you use mousse before gel or mousse after gel?
Not really 😄

My hair would be full of grease with this routine. Idk what to do

My roots are so oily
Does wavy hair snap easily and os more frizzy like curl hair
Mine is frizzy, but it doesn't snap easily. Maybe try oiling your ends and mids 30 minutes before a shower
Fine thin?
i got the same blue floral dress as yours i brought from shein 😂
Mine is from shein too 😆

Im shocked you comb your hair while its wet!
That is NOT 2a hun it’s way too curly to be 2a 😭
Thats curls not waves
waves are curls 😂
That is 3a hair not 2a. There is nothing wavy about your hair. You are abusive to type 2 hair
No, it’s 2A-2B, she is right. I have the same hair & because it’s so voluminous usually you might confuse it with 3A.
that's what i thought! i'm even a bit confused, because her curls are very defined

That’s what I thought. Her hair is at least 2C!
I think it’s super heavy and dragging the curls down, I think if she had some layers, those curls would spring up!
