    I've not seen any of your other videos. But I noticed you have fringe and I've not seen many curly girls with fridge. Seeing you style your hair was so helpful. Thank you for sharing this video.

    Great video. I have this type of hair, fine but lots of it and find the less i do and use, the better. My hair doesn't like a lot of product. Only use either conditioner or a curl cream, and let it air dry and gently shake out the curl when it's completely dry. avoid touching it a lot during the day and putting it up at night in a high ponytail really helps. As does getting a proper haircut to bring out the curl. We are so blessed to have this wavy curly hair, enjoy it and try different things to see what suits. No two days are the same!

      Lol, me either😂🤜🤛
      My hair is very thick and mostly wavy with some ringlets mixed in... My hair is down to my knees and so it's weighed down and now looking almost all wavy and my curly ringlets are now only left around my shorter face framing hair (and at the base of my neck lol).
      I'm so glad to see a video now, and comments haha, with people with the same hair texture as mine!!!🥰

      Oh my gosh same! My hair DOES get wavy but sometimes I really question it because it doesn't stay wavy. I can't even see the wave pattern when it's wet, it just looks straight. But at the same time, it's always frizzy. I used to see my waves much more, but I had cut my hair really short and it's finally grown back out but I can't remember what I used to do to see my waves more😂so here I am! Hope you find a tutorial that works for your hair :) I'm going to try this one today!

    I haven’t gotten into styling my hair yet but I think a lot of influencers forget to mention there’s two types of microfiber, I got myself a turbie twist bc it’s better than terry cloth towels, but I would still come across influencers saying they don’t use microfiber towels bc they “grab”, it wasn’t until I was searching for satin PILLOWCASES that I came across “brushed microfiber”, it doesn’t have the raised grabby pieces so I think BRUSHED microfiber (smooth like a T-shirt) is what we’re “supposed” to be using, not the kind you use for cleaning like we all seem to think 😅

    Me watching this after 5 years of just going with my natural hair (2b-2c) here and then, I went grey. It's been the best decision. My hair is very healthy. I wash it once or twice a week. CG method was the starting point, but now I apply a routine that fits me. I use drugstore products as well.

    The way I detangle my hair is in the shower, when I have conditioner in - after waiting for a bit I get my hair soaking wet, then use a wide tooth comb while keeping my hair under the running water. Takes less than 10 seconds to get all the tangles out.

    Your hair is soo beautiful! I’m currently growing out my hair and this is soo helpful! When I was little my hair was straight and as I grew older, the front pieces started to wave and curl really easily by themselves. By the time I was 17, my hair was wavy with some loose ringlets and I adored it. When I turned 19, I did dye it and on the last day I went to get a touch up, not only did the hair dresser not do the same color we agreed about (she had done my hair previously), she fried my hair by leaving the bleach in too long. My hair is still wavy but it doesn’t hold its ringlets anymore and it’s going to take years for it to maybe hopefully come back. I’m currently trying to relearn my wavy routine since my hair doesn’t scrunch out evenly like it used to (I’ve tried less product, sectioning, lighter products, etc. nothing!). Lucky about a few months ago I got eco gel (I got the pink one since I read somewhere it was good for wavy hair), and it is the only gel my hair likes without it scrunching unevenly. I use it with the Miss Jessie’s Honey curl gel (I just adore the scent and it doesn’t cause any issues with the eco gel) I also air dry my hair since my mom hates the noise. Soo sorry for the long comment. I’m just very grateful for this video

      My hairdresser is my mum, so thankfully I trust her to just do what she does!! But I’d definitely say lots of layering if your hair is wavy/curly and relatively thick. And feathering around the front.

      You really only need a good leave in conditioner and a heat protectant if you’re going to defuse. A conditioning hair mask or deep conditioner once a month or twice depending on how dry your hair is is a bonus for shinny hair. But curly cream, gel, mousse isn’t necessary for wavy hair. I hate how all the products feel. If you want some volume you can use a curl or volumizing foam. When I defuse I start with the blow dryer off put a section of hair in and bring the blow dryer up to my scalp then turn it on in that position. Med heat. Then turn it back off before letting that second down and repeat. This cause less frizzy if you don’t have a “hold” product in your hair.

    I dont like how hair feels with gel in it. I never diffuse it, maybe that would help the product-y feeling, but Im just trying to figure out how to not use gel but still get minimal frizz from air drying.

    • @MiaAlexandria
      @MiaAlexandria  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      The brush is a curly hair friendly brush from Amazon. They have all sorts of types that will work! And the roller I tend to go medium to larger as my hair is so thick! I’d go thinner if it’s not as thick!

    I have tried different hair styling products but I just never seem to notice any different or they just simply weight down my hair even if they are for curly and wavy hair. I also have no idea if my hair needs moisture, protein or have too much of one them. Where I live it tends to be quite windy and my hair is always frizzy and tangled. I have also a very itchy scalp. I use plopping with a t-shirt and leave in conditioner, but I don't know what else to do anymore. I have tried using gel but hate it. Also, my right side always tend to end up looking better than my left side which is annoying. My hair is straight at the top but is wavy from the ears and down. I have shoulder lenght hair with layers (it looks the best that way). If it is any longer I get random spirals at the ends.

    • @MiaAlexandria
      @MiaAlexandria  28 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It sounds like you just haven’t quite found the right products yet. Which is annoying and expensive to keep searching, I know :D and definitely using less if yours is thinner. I like the cantu hair mousse for a softer look which might work on your hair type

    Just curious, did you ever had to change up your hair products while pregnant for “pregnancy safe” products? I’m currently at that phase when I’m constantly having to check my skincare/beauty products for pregnancy safety but I really don’t want to be too paranoid.

    • @MiaAlexandria

      Brilliant, I hope it goes well. It can take some adjusting but definitely worth it! I actually didn't change up my hair products when I was pregnant really... Hi, yes I do dye my hair. My natural hair is just a little bit lighter. My mum is the hairdresser but she goes for a chocolate brown. Maybe showing your hairdresser a couple of pictures will help them visualise. You could always get some lowlights to cover some of the greys without having to do a full head of colour (hope that all makes sense). Although I’m all for embracing the grey!!!
