Perfect lesson at the exact moment I needed it to create a memorial on slate. I've used it for background removal but not laser so I was "home" and comfy. Thanks for being there! It's a great program.
i have been using the offline version for 3 months for my co2 60w laser machine and i am very satisfied with it. and if I was given a license to use it for a while, I would be happy, and even though it's not free, I would like to use it. Thanks developer.
wow, soo wonderful this tutorial is aww some, this will definitely be a return channel for the quality of the content. keep up the good job !!! well done 🎩💝
I am really impressed with the results I can achieve with ImagR. Things that used to take hours to edit are now done in a few minutes with a super professional result.
When I use ImagR to set my dpi and engrave it engraves incredibly slow, so I just use ImagR to crop and select material.. then set my dpi in lightburn and it engraves much quicker with same quality dpi
Great video, i definitely need to try it with my 5.5 w diod laser! Also i wanna try canvas, because for the now i only have experience with plywood and glass.
Well, I have been using ImagR (off-line) for many months now and I have to say it has helped me so much, but this video on slate is the best yet, I have always had problems trying to get a good result, but using the method in this video is amazing, I still need to tweak the setting a bit but is gets me so much closer to get that great final result. Thanks guys and keep up the good work ;)
Great video I would like to see a simular video with photos taken from a phone inside a house or something I might get from a customer those photos looked like the perfect example. I love all your videos.
Too organised for me! I'm happier blaming everyone else including materials and those who sold me the materials for any failure. I have recently taken to blaming my cats for changing settings when I'm not looking
Is this the same way to do it with a fiber laser? When I use imagr like you it doesn't give me a white background on my image like yours. It makes it black. Any reason why?
Great work, well done. But could show it on a non professional photos as well? I mean the images of the girls were with perfect lighting. Could you do an image taken with a phone and do the same process to show it gives the same result? Let's pretend that a customer sent you a preferred image they wanted to be engraved on a piece of a slate.
Really good tutorial, but a few issues. First, there's no DPI test on download. Also, no "Automatic Process" for Sharpen. I assume these, and maybe more, are paid features, and you should make that clear.
Denoise does not exist on ImageR neither does Auto Adjustment, Color Correction, or Auto Sharpen. Under Select Material there is only Old, Norton, Co2, and Grayscale. The other options are not available. Why were these options taken away?
hi great video i am trying to get our wedding picture on wood and slate but having a bit of trouble just wondered if i sent you the picture would you be able to help ??? thanks
Because you need to resize it first to the nearest size, and then crop it in ratio. If you‘re not resizing, the image will show not the needed dimensions in crop. However. You can resize, and then crop now. That wasn‘t possible to this time
Hi there. Please can you help me. When I use ImageR so that I can change a photo to engrave the image on wood. It only gives me 3 saving options. Bmp. Png. Jpg. What am I doing wrong or where to from here. Thanks in advance

Very clever. Thanks for sharing this. Slate is just such an amazing medium for lasers.
wow, soo wonderful this tutorial is aww some, this will definitely be a return channel for the quality of the content. keep up the good job !!! well done 🎩💝

Another great tutorial video to support a great software programme
Great tutorial 😀 Black slate is my favorite material for engraving.
Great video, i definitely need to try it with my 5.5 w diod laser! Also i wanna try canvas, because for the now i only have experience with plywood and glass.

I can't wait to figure out how to get my laser to make such clean images.
Too organised for me! I'm happier blaming everyone else including materials and those who sold me the materials for any failure. I have recently taken to blaming my cats for changing settings when I'm not looking
Never thought about it. Great tutorial!

Great work,well done.

Thank you for the share of such great information on slate engraving
It's easier to only use imag-r to resize the picture, and use lightburn to dither.
Will need to give this a try
Love working with black slate for me it's easier to get great results
As a newb, I’m wondering how did you choose the 318dpi? What things did you look at to say I like this one the best?
Love I love the constant improvements and simplicity of the software!
Gut gemachtes Tutorial
I love your Videos! Tanks for making 😍❤️
Hallo, großartiges Video!
Eine Frage hätte ich.
Wieviel Watt hat Ihr CO2-Laser?
80 :)
Great walkthrough! Thanks
I like the tutorial and hope it will work for me to. 👍
Very nice tutorial !

Could you do a video on engraving granite?
Did you say you use black matte paint on the slate prior to engraving? I was using matte clear wonder if the black matte paint would be better.
What brand of flat black paint or what kind enamel? Or just regular ?
Good Job💪💪
hola, con que maquina haces el grabado'? muchas gracias..
once you use ImagR, and import the graphic into Lightburn what selection do you pick for the Image Mode?
This is so helpful!
Great lesson always learn something
Thanks for the info
Guys, you did a great job :D Thank you so much for doing such SW
Prefect, thank you.
hi great video i am trying to get our wedding picture on wood and slate but having a bit of trouble just wondered if i sent you the picture would you be able to help ??? thanks
Denoise is no longer on your website. what do we use now?
Awesome!
Awesome tutorial from start to finish thank you
I would really like to learn how to correctly use Imag-R. I just don't think I'm smart enough.
What is the lake of the Matt black paint used?
Love it. Thanks for the great videos.
which machine (engraving) are you using in this video?
Is the slate what you get from a roofing merchants
I want to do it on plexi (acrylic) show how please
Question - why the double upload/crop? Why not do it perfectly the first time?
Because you need to resize it first to the nearest size, and then crop it in ratio.
If you‘re not resizing, the image will show not the needed dimensions in crop.
However. You can resize, and then crop now. That wasn‘t possible to this time
Very Nice
Yep already landing on bailing with the robot voice video seems good but dragged trough the mud.
Thank you so much for this video.
Awesome! Would love to get a license for this, amazing results!
really interesting
