Hej Karen! Let me just say I love this series, but can I make a suggestion? Could you ask the people you interview to write down their instagram handles instead of just saying them? (That way you can avoid spelling mistakes) A lot of times I stop the video and want to check the people's instas but then the accounts don't exist which is too bad. Would have loved to see more of "sirramonebruce" for example. I loved that style. But it was the same with many of the other two videos
Ah found him after replaying various times and trying around on instagram. @sirramoanbruce But yeah - maybe you take my suggestion so we can easily see more from our favorites of the video and don't have to do the digging! :) One more time - love this, it's so unique and inspiring! Thank you
I’m from London and I’ve been there twice! Every time I’m there I feel like I can be anything I want to be and dress however I want. I feel so inspired by everyone. New York definitely leaves an imprint on me
I love fashion and over the top accessories but it is a lot more intimidating to wear an out there outfit when you're from a smaller city lol and everyone esle is dressed very "normal"
Think of it this way...no one is living this Earth alive..if you want to wear intimidating clothes but are afraid of what people think..wear it anyway...you end up finding out that most people think just like you do but are scared coz they'll stand out..some people need one person to break the norm inorder for them to break the norm. No one!! And I do mean no one who has ever done something worth while or is ingrained in history got to where they are by playing it safe..you just might be that person in your town.. Start with a crazy top..see how they react..then a crazy top and bright lipstick... that's normally the trick..make them get used to it bit by bit to the point when you wear an entire crazy outfit..they just say "oh that's just Lizzy's style" Your not getting any younger do what you want .
Everyone else is scared to wear what they want because they're scared too, they're no different from you. Most of these people will go on to live very average boring lives because they never try anything outside the box. Do what you want, as long as you aren't hurting people. People might judge you for it because they're small-minded and/or jealous of your confidence.
Oh me oh my! That's me I spy!! At 17:27 ! Thank you for capturing this moment...it was actually the first time I played in the subway! I have very much remained true to my style though it is ever evolving!! Love this series!!!
Omg Dilone is literally a supermodel. I love how you and her just had a chance encounter. Neither one you knew who the other was and you both work in the same industry. That's what I love about NY. It's so big yet so small.
Mens fashion is bomb. Timeless and better quality. The fabrics hardly ever have elastic in the fabric and are therefore lasting longer. Shoes are more comfortable and wider. Hat acctually fit people like me who havent got a walnut as a head. Coats jumpers shirts. better quality and more timeless designes.
Yes!! So true - everything she said, including the bit about the sizing! I have the exact same issues and also have several men's shirts, and clothes from the kids' section! (I'm 5' 2", 98 lbs - about the same age as her). Mens' clothes are made to last, while womens' clothes are essentially treated as disposable... but they jack up the prices b/c most women will pay to have that label or to have a different outfit every day of the year... Which also has me loving the people whose outfits are largely second-hand - I love those bits! I buy a few items new (shoes, good jeans that fit, etc) but probably 1/2 of my closet is "previously owned"
I love how the women at 10:01 is wearing a Zara dress and thousands of dollars in accessories with her watch/bracelets/bag/shoes. Love the high end/low end mixing.

I just discovered this channel and I, of course, love the fashion, but I also love the reactions of folks cuz I think people feel good when their personal style is complimented, Karen, you’re lovely.
I absolutely LOVE these videos! It's obvious that the people you interview walk away with a little pep in their step and that is so great to watch. Love NYC.
It’s funny because I live here and I never realize how beautiful the people are. I honestly think it has a lot to do with where you are though in the city though, because not everyone dresses this way or has the funds to. Also depends on the amount of attention you want to receive.
No kidding! I remember being so disappointed and at the same time relieved my first time visiting NYC. I was so ready and excited to see all of the well dressed people everywhere but that was not the case at all so I was confused and disappointed. But at the same time I was relieved because I realized New Yorkers were just regular dressed people like the rest of the country. Nothing special
loving these series. street style is much more interesting than runway. I love to see how people style their pieces. And New York is def a place where the streets are the runway.
I absolutely love these videos, Karen! And I love how many people are willing to really take some time and chat with you. Aba and Dilone were great, and Thomasina was super refreshing. I wish she still had a line. Keep up the good work!

getting a Bill Cunningham vibe here. Love your voice-over and that you show such a large variety of people and fashions. The “what everyone is wearing episodes are everything!
I LOVE these videos. Filled with so many great and inspirational styles. Thank you. Besides I miss New York!
I just discovered this channel and I, of course, love the fashion, but I also love the reactions of folks cuz I think people feel good when their personal style is complimented, Karen, you’re lovely.
I love the conversation with the people !
loved the woman in the black hat. the white socks looked so cute with those shoes.
Continue continue continue....love the real stylings of real people....
I love to "people watch" when I'm out and about. Fall and Winter in NY are the best in my opinion.
Adoptame yo quiero vivir en NY😂😭
Nothing special
faacts
It's all how you See actually SEE!..not everyone sees or feels ..🤷♂️
loving these series. street style is much more interesting than runway. I love to see how people style their pieces. And New York is def a place where the streets are the runway.
Came for Brenn! Love her.
I absolutely love these videos, Karen! And I love how many people are willing to really take some time and chat with you. Aba and Dilone were great, and Thomasina was super refreshing. I wish she still had a line. Keep up the good work!
your videos make me want to go/live in new york so bad! the style, the people, the inspiration and vibes everyone gives is just amazing
I truly enjoyed the video. Well curated! Fun to recognize the music too.
