This *jklux* canvas tote actually reminded me of the Hermès Garden Party as well. Thank you for making this video and recommending more affordable alternatives. It made me learn a lot about the details of the bag and I love it so much!
Karen, you have a way of styling trends that makes them look timeless. Very few people possess this talent/gift. It's inspiring. Happy New Year, by the way.
Didn’t know corduroy had gone away. Not in my closet! Love to hear what’s new, but I still stick to what I feel works for me and feels like fun. Never too serious.
Just was editing down my son’s winter past….he’s growing and his little worn cords are now mine. Love the wide straight legs in some fabulous shades. Nice surprise addition to my winter wardrobe.
Thank you for the upload. A long time ago, I decided not to follow any trends. However, I enjoy and like Ralph Lauren's 80 and 90 design idea, they are timeless and classic. Can't go wrong with that.
Happy Friday! Happy New Year! I’m going to make a comment that’s meant to be constructive critique as someone who’s been subscribed to your TH-cam since maybe 2016 or 2017. I’ve noticed in maybe the past couple of years or so you’ve focused a lot on whether someone is going to like a style item or trend piece that you’re talking about. I don’t remember that being a recurring theme on your channel years back. Your style is your style! Your likes are your likes! You don’t have to give any air with the preface “The majority of you won’t like this…” Girl, share what you like or what you think will be the season’s trend and leave the preface behind! 😊
I am looking forward to 2025 trends because they should not dictate your personal style but rather inspire it depending on what fits your own aesthetic.
Thank you for putting your TikToks on TH-cam shorts❤ I sew, and you have been a style inspiration to me for years. This year is the year of pants for me. I am making jeans and trousers.
"DON'T BE A SHEEP!". Enough said right there. I am in my 60s and lived through and observed flicks of stars back in the days before my time in wardrobe on set and also during their leisure play time and there nothing new when it comes to fashion just an adaption of how the items is styled. Designer bank on the stupidity or naivety of fashion consumers and others can take advantage and make some coins if they have held on to their great fashion and a person that can work a needle and do crafts. I was charging people back in the 80s to narrow their pants legs on campus and then they were sending people that liked my work. It was funny to me because I might have narrow maybe 2 of my own pants and still wore my wide legs. That is why I fell in obsession with TH-cam's influencers that showcased their thrifting skills to share and I took advantage of their knowledge with my weight gain to thrift items that work with my existing wardrobe and fit the current oversize vibe I so loved from back when I was actually able to in 80s/90s to belt a large shirt or blazer to wear with legging and heels. The work oversize blazer wore at the club over my mini bodycon dresses or skirts, they also worked when I just wore a bra and sheer skirt or pants. I love my stretchy moto skinny jeans have them in faded blue denim and washout black because I had them for so long (shocked you would get rid of them if you did). Maybe it time to go thru your denim jeans to refamiliarize yourself with what you got. I would love a focus on a garment piece styling video from you. Paula totally brought the new year in with bang, I had on sweats laying on sofa watching old movies because I am still trying to get over a bug that hit me around Christmas. Getting ready for major snowstorm hitting the mid-west, snow gear gets to come out to play. Happy new year and blessings for many days to come to you and all!
When you hear Karen describing high street dupes "bowling bag- classic, rounded corners, flat bottom" and feel your post christmas body is being described!
I recently got a lovely gray cordyroy jumpsuit. Been wanting vintage/retro or good quality light gray loose fitting one for a while..but you rarely see a curdoroy one and even with the light grey shade that suits me. Have a fabulous year Karen. X
I saved up for a few months to buy a ZP, but it was scratched on the third day. I cried for a long time, and then my friend from *jklux* let me take turns carrying it. Anyway, there are so many bags on the street, and few people really care about these details. The thought is there.
I would love to go back in times and bring the vintage maybe 70s look it was so beautiful. I feel like we have touched it a bit with the burgundy tones last year which is my favorite since I was 13 years old.
Thanks for this trend forecast. Terrific content! Everything old is new again, but always with some tweaks. It’s fun to watch it all evolve. And can we also talk about the close to this video? The music and montage were🔥🔥🔥💃🏾 I’m ready for the fashion partay! 😂
Happy New Year karen to you and family🎉🥳🤩🎉 Im really enjoying the chit chat so warm& relaxing and NOT to mention ‘ What people are wearing in New York”. I’m here for ALL of it !!!! Peace& Blessing ❤🌹🌷🤬🌷❤️🙏🏾
I am already there (or never left😅) regarding skinnier jeans. Personally, I would never wear super skinny though, I love a clean straight one, like Levi's 501 Preferably lose crotch and straight legs. Agree about the slightly more formed silhouettes is gonna be seen, for sure. I would like you to talk about shoes. Shoes are always the ones feeling dated first imo. I am personally not much for delicate shoes, like ballerinas, I just think delicate shoes often makes an outfit unbalanced. But with skinnier jeans coming back, usually the less chunky, more robust shoes are less seen, I believe. At the moment I am lacking inspiration in terms of shoes, so pls make a video about shoes-you master it SO well!🌸Oh, and Happy New Year Karen!😊
I know young women in the neighborhood are wearing fashions from the eighties early nineties…not anything I would have worn at that time but more like the older ladies at church. If I wore those styles they would not look fresh.
I picked up lots of corduroy this fall. There’s quite a bit in stores now. My favorite is a Zara red pair. Really retro looking. I think you’d love. We’ve got same predictions! Same shows! 😂👍❤️
❤love this video, it’s the only video on this topic that actually tries to predict trends rather than summarizing the 2024 trends as “2025 trends”, you are the best fashionista on social media 😊
I do believe this is the year, That old will be new again. I think a lot of designs will be going to the archives and bringing back those gem designs. I'm looking forward to it.❤
It's more of a pencil jean/pant, than the skinny jeans which grips the legs. Because I'm 5' 4" 115lbs, Im so here for the more tailored slimmed down blazer, which is what I actually have in my closet, Im back in trend lol. I looked silly and lost in the over sized blazer. What I'm not so keen on, are the oversized bags. The big bags swallow my frame, like the bag is walking me lol. Im ecstatic for the more narrower trousers and blazers. Yay 2025🍾🥂
I don’t mind skinny jeans, but I feel that they didn’t fall out of favour they have been there in the background hoovering. God knows I love over size jackets etc, but if its way over size to be it’s not a great look. Love looking for vintage pieces in anything. I don’t own any designer bags.
I would be so excited if a slim leg/cigarette pant returned! The oversized top trend is too strong to ignore. What I'm picking up on college campus is an anti-designer, anti-luxury and "no buy" vibe. DIY and vintage are fine.
Happy New Year, Karen! Loved this video!! Totally agree with all of your trends, too. I’ve noticed some of them already showing up, as you said, but also agree that the only constant in fashion is change! I’m here for it all, especially slender jeans and more fitted blazers (I’m 5’ and petite, so this suits me well!). ❤❤❤
I give a crap about what you talk about Girlie! Girlie! Thank you so much for taking me on your travels around the world ❤Happy New Year to you and Michael 🎉
Karen, this was so much fun to watch 🥰 I also stayed home with the Beau for NYE and we had a good ole time! I'm excited to hopefully see corduroy, skinny jeans, and animal prints. I haven't shopped for animal print in the past, so this might be my chance! Love your content sis - Happy New Year 💜💜
Happy New Year. I think it would be an interesting idea if a fashion house repurchased their own vintage bags off of the market and reworked them in some way to resell instead of a completely new re-release.
Karen this year you need to design clothes! You are a fashion designer and the way you speak about clothes is something you need to tap into in this new year!! Make that 3 piece suit for your self have fun with it! Love your channel cheers!
Happy New Year, Karen! The chair is so good; it looks comfy and cozy. I stayed in the NYE - ate snacks (shrimp cocktail, sushi, cheese & crackers, and drank wine). It was nice and peaceful. I like suede, but I could never get into corduroy.
This is a great chair and looks perfect in your space. My holiday break was busy AF 🤣. Agreed people should wear the trends that they are comfortable with or that flatter them. Yes skinny jeans will be coming back soon LOL. I like them in the winter, they are warmer then wide leg jeans. I like them with boots and yes with something that is longer and goes past the hip agreed %100. Not so much say with ballet flats and cropped or shorter jackets. And too hot for summer. I do not have any corduroy but I would love to get a pair of corduroy pants and yes suede. What could be better then a corduroy pants and a suede bag. Ooo yes LOVE the glasses. That Ronnie Kobo dress of yours is stellar and looks so good. Good lord ignore the haters wow. I recently got a leopard print coat and it is the same length. Adore the east west bag. Walmart Birkin wow. All about the unisex dressing and you do it so well. Yes it is nice when they bring back archived bags and given an update. Great discussion here! 👍🥰😍
Absolutely love corduroy, so I'll be very excited to see it come back and stock up on pieces. I also hope we see the leopard and zebra prints. I view them as fun neutrals 🤎
Happy New Year 🎉🎉 so sorry to ask, as I know they're a HUGE labour of love, but any chance we can get a, "what everyone is wearing" video? I know, I know.. so demanding 😊❤
I have been seeing the skinny jean threaded through shows for two or three years so I believe you are spot on! And do love the animal print, not going anywhere for me either, thank you for your predictions!!😊
Wonderful, love your ideas, so inspiring. Completely agree on the Balenciaga City, have one in suede, the Parttime and a Mini in Mocchroc. Also I live the Biho influence and a bit sheer 😍.
Woohoo. I wear fugly geeky looking moisture chamber glasses as I have corneal neuralgia (overly sensitive corneal nerves) due to dry eye disease. There’s so little choice in terms of style. I’m pleased I’m finally gonna look hip
In fact, as a practitioner in the luxury goods industry, you need to go through a lot to find out which ones are fake, kislux which is why people buy fakes because it is difficult to distinguish
Your chair looks so cozy! Christmas was great, NYE was cozy and quiet, which I loved. Corduroy always looks good. I thrifted some purple ones by Ralph Lauren that I luv.
I love LOVE your leopard print coat. Great suggestions and loved the chatty format, and I think I need to get in my loft and check out my old stuff ( sadly no designer stuff) and see if anything is wearable. Might not fit me lol but you never know! Happy New Year x
I decided last summer that skinny jeans would come back. Got some great g star raw ones for £10 kn ebay and j love them with my ballet flats with the ribbons around them and my McQueen western boots. I've also been searching for a paddington desperately as well as the mulberry roxanne. Damn Karen.... you're going to drive up the paddington price now 😂
Love your video, just subscribed! Your style is flawless and you totally rocked that zebra dress! Speaking of the Chloe Paddington, I have from that same period a big black and a brown Marc Jacobs bags with not as much hardware that I ❤dragged out of the closet. I have gotten so many compliments! Twenty years seems to be the time period when fashion seem to circle back. Although, the fashion of the 80’s, like the YSL men’s double breasted suits this year are stunning! I’ve thrifted some great pieces of YSL, Perry Ellis and a whole Hugo Boss suit from the 80’s that I wear and LOVE!
It is amazing how fashion trends come back around! I agree there's a certain time period that qualifies the re-issue of the 'hits' Thank you for subbing!! I love that the OG bags still get compliments same for my old Balenciagas.
Brillant! (as you guys say over the pond, or rather across the Channel, considering my geographical position 😂). I agree with each and every trend you mentioned. I’m just sad about sneakers: I have invested so much on those things. 😅 Another thing I have invested in are small bags (I am obsessed with Jacquemus). Question: are those going to disappear ? Thank you for this spot-on video. I wish you and Michael the best for 2025. ✨ May your ever-expanding career in fashion be crowned with a myriad of successes. 🙏🏾
I’m a vintage buyer and dresser from the 70’s & 80’s in London. I may have mentioned that in posts way back. I was an early Camden Market, Ladbroke Grove and Kensington Market shopper when I was very young! Some clothes I still have! I’m surprised that New Romantics hasn’t come back?? I LOVED the style but not the music. I wore the clothes (via Kensington Market RIP), but it was my favourite style period!
Karen, love the videos, never fails, each week u have me going thru my archive collections,,,,now im hunting down my corduroy items,,,,,,,,,,have a great week
100 percent wear your shit. Also I think the corduroy is a good prediction as it offers options for casual and more formal applications. With the oversized as a plus sized person the oversized trend gives options for us whether we are purchasing luxury or the trend trickles down into the shops. What I will say about it is a focus on better tailoring would make these items fit plus sized folks in a more flattering way.
Happy NY Karen & Michael! I love the new shaggy-luxe chair 🤩 yay for corduroy! Mine will always remain in my wardrobe as they are versatile & a comfortable alternative to jeans 👍
All I am asking is that be your Amazon the Drop your next collection that 3-4 pice suit in jewel tones I know that it would be something that would be on par with the fashion houses in corduroy 😊I unfortunately missed your recent Amazon the Drop but if this is something you would consider for winter 2025 I would be more prepared once your collection dropped 😉😘 Happy New year Karen to you an yours my sofa was my best friend Alexander Palace is as far as I would travel to whach Fire works 🎉in London but my sofa has won out these last few years😅
i think you were spot on with your predictions. By the way, ath leisure and bag charms make my flesh crawl (j/k) but i do despise both. Rewear your clothes as much as you want.
Love your videos! I have to say that corduroy is already a thing this year… been seeing it everywhere already. End of last year bought 2 pairs of corduroy trousers and made myself a corduroy tote. Get more compliments on that hand made tote than I do any of my designer bags 😂
Thrifting is partly popular due to the poor quality of much high-street clothing. Fabric & construction matter. Having said that - some faux leather is so soft & some faux leather shoes are comfy & nice indeed.
I love your friend,Paula! What a cool, stylish woman! We stayed home too! Much better, but my husband went to bed early! I love the slimmer, looks, and had never bought into the baggy trousers and jeans. I love an over sized top with a slimmer bottoms. I don't care for the old, tight jeans as they were before. I love corduroy, but not for pants. They add too much bulk for me as pants, but I do have a corduroy mini skirt and a corduroy jacket! I love leopard print! Thanks for the tip on glasses! I do have to get some new perscription glasses. Those thick rims are something to consider. Thank you for the tips!
Ooh corduroy. I had a great blue pair of straight leg trousers a good 15 or so years ago. Pale blue. Ive been looking for another pair for some time and maybe a flared pair. Looking forward to that. Aubergine colour sounds interesting, look forward to different versions of that too. Traditional style shoes i already have brogues. Saw your doc martens so getting those out this weekend. Skinny jeans not so much for me coz i have big thighs and athletic calves. Anti quiet luxury sounds brilliant and dopamine dressing id like to try but is scared of bright colours and pstterns mixture. Id like to see classic designs come back ie Audrey Hepburn lbd or Madonna's bustier, Vivian Westwood punk style.
I was in Gucci today and the SA told me they canât often tell the difference between the authentic and kislux 's bags. Surprised to hear that from an SA.
Love this format. Feels like besties facetime. The calm and chill chatty vibes. You dont even need to cut and edit. Wish these were longer. Maybe create a podcast with your comments on fashion shows and collections? I‘d love to hear your thoughts on every single outfit

This *jklux* canvas tote actually reminded me of the Hermès Garden Party as well. Thank you for making this video and recommending more affordable alternatives. It made me learn a lot about the details of the bag and I love it so much!
REWEAR and ignore the haters.
Skinny jeans are great to wear with boots 👢 especially in winter when you don’t want the bottoms of your pants weighed down with rain or snow ❄️ 🌧️

Thank you for the upload. A long time ago, I decided not to follow any trends. However, I enjoy and like Ralph Lauren's 80 and 90 design idea, they are timeless and classic. Can't go wrong with that.
Corduroy is a real blast from the past and I think I will love it.
@@zebralove2840 bought my first pair in years this autumn, was a little bit hesitant, but everybody compliments them, was quite surprised

I love a good knockoff *jklux* because it helps me decide if I want to spend a lot of money on the real thing. .
something I wish for in 2025: less overconsumption! wearing, re wearing and wearing out the clothes we have!!!
Wishing you and Michael the happiest New Year ever. Love you guys so much.❤❤❤❤❤❤
This format is my favorite, second only to " What are people wearing?" videos.
Happy Friday! I definitely agree with the corduroy. It's starting to show up already. I just purchased a pair of corduroy barrel pants!!
It's been out for a good while its2023 autumn winter fashion but the US is always behind
I am looking forward to 2025 trends because they should not dictate your personal style but rather inspire it depending on what fits your own aesthetic.

I miss your rag doll hair looks & yr Josephine Baker sleek bob. Fun.
Like velvet, corduroy is not a material I will ever wear. Even thinking about the feeling makes me shiver. Happy New Year!

Hey Karen, I was home with my foster kids for New Year, love the chair. I try to stay away from trends.
Any LV EPI. timeless, understated and we can wear the originals which still look like new!
I would be so excited if a slim leg/cigarette pant returned! The oversized top trend is too strong to ignore. What I'm picking up on college campus is an anti-designer, anti-luxury and "no buy" vibe. DIY and vintage are fine.
Hello K

I decided last summer that skinny jeans would come back. Got some great g star raw ones for £10 kn ebay and j love them with my ballet flats with the ribbons around them and my McQueen western boots. I've also been searching for a paddington desperately as well as the mulberry roxanne. Damn Karen.... you're going to drive up the paddington price now 😂
Happy New Year 🎉😊
Love your video, just subscribed!
I could listen to you all day❤
So excited for these trends!
Makes sense for sure ❤
The Fendi Mamma baguette is being rereleased. I still have and love the vintage one I tracked down after I saw yours. ❤
I have a corduroy moss green oversized, that I have been thinking about purging. Think I will hang on to it!
Thanks for sharing. Happy New Year!
Seeing Overly baggy Courdroy jeans with elsticated hems, in Barbados 🇧🇧.
Yes, in jewel tones Burgundy, Sapphire Blue, Cherry coloured.....
Great video. Could use a spot of Michael. LOL! But I enjoyed this and agreed with most of it. ☺️
Brillant! (as you guys say over the pond, or rather across the Channel, considering my geographical position 😂).
I agree with each and every trend you mentioned. I’m just sad about sneakers: I have invested so much on those things. 😅
Another thing I have invested in are small bags (I am obsessed with Jacquemus). Question: are those going to disappear ?
Thank you for this spot-on video. I wish you and Michael the best for 2025. ✨ May your ever-expanding career in fashion be crowned with a myriad of successes. 🙏🏾
Happy new year and great a lot of great things are coming to you this year too! Blessings!
Corduroy is here for the fall & winter. I just brought along midi Corduroy skirt, from all places JCPenny.
I LOVE Corduroy!! Still wear my Cord Boot cut trousers!! 🥳
I’d love to know where you store all your clothes in light of the size of your wardrobe. I’d love to have more clothes but don’t have the space.
Definitely think the indoor/outdoor glasses are going to be big
I’m so up for the resurrection of the skinny Jean yayyyy 🤩🤩🎄
All I am asking is that be your Amazon the Drop your next collection that 3-4 pice suit in jewel tones I know that it would be something that would be on par with the fashion houses in corduroy 😊I unfortunately missed your recent Amazon the Drop but if this is something you would consider for winter 2025 I would be more prepared once your collection dropped 😉😘
Happy New year Karen to you an yours my sofa was my best friend Alexander Palace is as far as I would travel to whach Fire works 🎉in London but my sofa has won out these last few years😅
Great video Karen!❤
I just bought some Cord jeans!!!! With a flare
Julie from Wales UK 😘😘
Perfect!
Love new shaggy chair ❤
Your Venetian mirror is gorgeous Allahoumabarik ( to protect it from evil eye) ❤
I just thrifted a vintage at like what was seen near the 14 min mark. Super cute, reminds me one I owned in 2010 or so
i think you were spot on with your predictions. By the way, ath leisure and bag charms make my flesh crawl (j/k) but i do despise both. Rewear your clothes as much as you want.
Great review love ❤️❤️❤️👍🏿👍🏿👍🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿🫶🏿😍😍😍💯💯💯💯👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿
Love your videos! I have to say that corduroy is already a thing this year… been seeing it everywhere already. End of last year bought 2 pairs of corduroy trousers and made myself a corduroy tote. Get more compliments on that hand made tote than I do any of my designer bags 😂
Happy New year Karen ❤❤
Yes ma'am, I got my Zebra Print scarves! That's as far as I am willing take it right now.😅
Thrifting is partly popular due to the poor quality of much high-street clothing.
I have a couple of corduroy pants, love them
I love very flared jeans Karen 🎉. I want them to stay. I will be wearing them😂. BRING BACK BOWLER HATS🎊
