I've got a very eclectic, very much vintage/2nd hand wardrobe, but now I've gained weight, feel too conscious wearing it all - blending in (with mostly black) seems much safer now.... Watching your video's, makes me rethink my clothes options.....everybody is wearing their clothes with pride & love!
I know I'm responding months later but wear what you love. If things are too tight just thrift a few pieces you love that will fit to add to your basics. Size doesn't matter, long as your comfortable and showing your unique style.
What I enjoyed most was the diversity in the outfits and people. You actively promote individuality and celebrate people’s differences in tastes, which is admirable.

I am such a fan of your channel and what I love the most is how amazing you are at describing and breaking down fashion to where it makes perfect sense. Both of these videos are extra special because we got to see regular people, of all shapes, sizes, genders, styles... on the streets of New York, in there day-to-day clothes. I was able to see how easy it is to put an outfit together on someone with my body type and style. I’m so inspired to put some love and fun and effort in my outfit choices for any type of day now, instead of going for the quick and lazy routine I have been choosing lately. I love fashion, always have. And I have great pieces in my wardrobe. But I never wear them because I tell myself, “I’ll save that for a special occasion”. When really I’m, just being lazy.
