- What everyone is wearing in New York Summer trends 2019! Here's an experimental video to see if you like this idea as a series? I'm giving you ideas on what to wear when it's hot via observing the current fashion trends 2019 on local New Yorkers. This isn't about New York fashion week, this is about every day women and getting inspired by summer outfit ideas. I've always loved asking people where did you get that but this is the first time I'm sharing it on my TH-cam channel properly (I tried years ago if you scroll back on my channel). If thinking of coming to New York, maybe this will spur a how not to look like a tourist in New York dress code.

I would love this as well. I see a lot of "older" women who look great when I visit NYC. I always stop and take note of their looks as I am in this age category as well.

Alexa Likes SERIOUSLY those women on those bikes literally could have been a runway show on their own. I was genuinely shocked on how they pulled off those styles so effortlessly and looked chic doing it. Like can I get a vintage bike as an accessory.
So happy I kept a lot of my mothers clothes and accessories. I wear them all the time and get tons of compliments. And yes their vintage as my Mother is a happy 85yrs old now.
This is the kind of video that is going to be a gem to watch in 50 years. So cool to sort of profile the average New Yorker of 2019. Very fun idea!

I agree. As a woman who grew up visiting NYC often, I really enjoyed the visual people watching with you. I always love seeing what woman and men are wearing in the city. So many great outfits. I love people watching! It inspires me and it’s a tradition I started with my grandma. We go for walks in the city and sit on a bench just to look around and criticize outfits 🙊
I'm a dude, not into fashion but this popped up in my recommended and I liked watching this video. I'm kinda out of touch with what people are wearing these days especially working online for so long it's actually pretty refreshing to see something like this.

So great to see all the different styles - I tend to wear men’s clothing as well I’ve done it for close to 45 years baggy pants sometimes not and also I love men’s suites - I am lucky enough to have very broad shoulders - have a funny story about that but will not bore you with that today. I am also a total fan of wearing a black lose tie with my white shirts.....haven’t seen that on any New York women yet - maybe for winter season. Love your videos and your flattering comments you are such a beautiful lady.

Let me tell you if there was ever a tasteful way to film strangers this is it! I love people-watching in metropolitan areas.
My mother's best friend taught fashion and fashion history in L.A. I grew up learning from her how to discern trends and styles. The way you naturally seem to do it, is the way most women are taught to if they take classes. You notice silhouette, fabrics, prints, accessories and the like. I love that you share your knowledge.
