Tomer achieved the rare triple kill. Not three people, but Seth died to Commander Damage (Sliver Legion was 26 dmg without considering other sliver boosts), regular damage AND poison damage (13 poison counters).
@@Thermascorch the only way i can see it being topped is if when you attacked it causes an opponent to draw with not enough cards in library, which from what i can find, slivers cant do on their own, you could deck yourself out though with synapse sliver, but i think that draw would happen after damage step of combat, so it wouldnt be an official quad kill.

17:18 While you may not have the cascade target in your deck, it does reveal and shuffle your entire library. The reveal may not be as important, but it does open the chance to draw the cards that were bottomed from cascade.
@@eldercleric If they have no 0 mana spell, they're still supposed to show all cards in their deck and shuffle all of it, instead of putting only a few cards at the bottom
I once had a First Sliver deck with Ancestral Vision and the suspend Mox (I forget its name) specifically as things to Cascade into for that reason. Fun fact, the Vision was one of only two non-permanent cards in the entire deck. The other one? Primal Surge.
Not sure if Phil catches on later but Black Market Connections triggers at the beginning of the first main phase, not on upkeep. You will already have drawn and can make the choice to draw an extra card or not at that point.
Shoutout to Tomer for getting on Richard's ass about doing the Richard Strategy, of gaslighting the table into getting a win. I loved hearing them call him out on it!
I think you got some names wrong lol because in this game Tomer literally gaslit Seth into getting a win. Lol. So maybe he got on his case because he is his padawan.
I really like the idea of proxying 4 identical copies of a Sliver Legion deck to carry around with you for the occasional fun/mayhem game of "All Slivers"
Ah Seth missed the sneaky way he could've won - each time Tomer cascaded through his deck technically he should've had to shuffle all the revealed cards to put them back 'on the bottom' - Tomer would've conceded rather than shuffle his deck :D
17:30, Tomer missed a cascade trigger on the flanking sliver, Cascade is not a may trigger. he should've flipped till he hit a 0 drop or revealed his deck and shuffled
Rolling Dice should be the norm for Coin Flip cards. Just make it 50/50 odds. To many people argue that a flip wasn't good enough or someone doesn't know how to flip a coin well. Just Roll an even sided dice and call Odd or Even
Just a rules thing for Tomer. At 17:20, you ended your cascade chain with a one drop and chose not to cascade again. I don't believe you had that option though. I think you were required to cascade which is relevant because you should have shuffled your entire library. Not just the bottom few cards.
He dies from poison counters anyways Tomer! You had enough to kill anyways. Also, Seth, same thing, you didn’t have to full swing at Richard, just enough to deal poison to ten. Good game nonetheless.
@@eldercleric Yeah, but it would’ve made it a bit better. Idr the full abilities at the end but it would’ve changed it a bit. He wouldn’t have had to pump his slivers and had more blockers. I think he was probably still dead, but oh well.
When tomer casted the sidewinder sliver off cascade, he should have shuffled his deck (since it has 1 mana cascade, and he said he has no 0 cost spells). Why? Well because of Realmwalker! The top of the deck mattered so id say he has to shuffle in this case
Favorite Sliver: Sliver Queen. I opened her from a pack of Stronghold back in 1998. That 5-color-ness and Ron Spencer art made me a sliver fan-boy for 26 years now.
I remember the last time this happened. I think Tom was still on the show. It was a miserable slog thanks to all Slivers having shroud, indestructible and defender.
This feels like a "no restrictions" episode but everyone had to pick their deck separately and reveal at the same time. And now it's just 4 spidermans pointing at each other
This would be a good match to run my new "backwards" Sliver deck. My commander (would have to be in the 99 in your format) is "Rukarumrel, Biologist". When he comes into play, he names "Slivers" and 10 of my other creatures are Shadow Creatures (including Vashta Nerada). Rukarumel maked my Shadow Creatures into Slivers, so they get the enhancement, but are basically unblockable. In the meanwhile, my Slivers are my deck's defense. Also, Rukarumel makes a 1/1 Sliver token for 3, instead of the 5 from the Sliver Hive.
Id thought abour suggesting they play paper sliver week for an april fools, and it could be just like a 5-10 minute supercut of them trying to keep track of all the abilities Im amazed they're doing a longer episode on it tho
Love Slivers. First sliver as commander, 3 hours at the local gamestore, and slivers was banned after that. People apperently doesn't like to play against a well built sliver deck.
Dormant Sliver is legitimately a decent card in any Simic dèck. Makes the random sliver player sad AND locks all changelings under Defender. Even if you have none of that at the pod it still cantrips.
Oh, we did this one with 3v3, not sure what the game mode is called, but kings in the middle, they can cast and move creatures to the sides, he can tap mana for his generals to help them, only the generals can attack each other on their side, if one is dead then the king is vulnerable on that side, it was 3 Elves vs 3 Sliver decks. It got messy real fast. Elves won.
@@MTGGoldfishCommander hmm. You must mean snap well. "How to snap. just put your middle finger and thumb together under pressure next to your index finger, move the thumb to you index finger as fast as you can. The more pressure on the thumb and middle finger the louder the snapping sound."

But they both have flanking so it doesn't trigger for blocker. Flanking is a keyword ability that gives creatures that block a creature with flanking -1/-1, **unless the blocker also has flanking**.
It was me. I was the one who thought this was a good idea!
Same, guilty as charged😅
Me too.
You monster! Fun idea lol
I'd prefer 'which sliver lord is best' more than everyone uses legion. But love sliver week
