Can't do this anymore but back in the day of original WotLK you could tame Garwal in his humanoid form if you timed it exactly right. For a glorious week or two until Blizzard nerfed it, my hunter used to walk around Orgrimmar in wolf form (with the Rituals of the New Moon off-hand) with a Worgen pet and a worg pup companion. Good times.
If ever trying to tame anything or look for anything rare. You can sit in one spot and quickly look at another spot using /cast !Eagle Eye That lets you cast it over and over to go further. With practice you can check 5 spawn in under a minute.
amazing tip, does "!" always make the spell cast endlessly? I have really been wanting to learn more about macros but its actually been hard to find a database, rather than very specific guides.
@@DeathComesQuick666 The exclamation is used as a check to see if the action referenced is active and then it will not perform the action if it is already active. But kinda works weirdly with some spells like Eagle eye. Usually you’d use it for something like /cast !Auto Shot or !Aspect of the Hawk. That way you can mash the button and it doesn’t turn off auto shot or aspect of the hawk.
@@jaytullo5486 awesome! thats actually more useful than i originally thought. How did i ever tank as warrior in classic without knowing this? lol my stance-dance game was rather weak in hindsight!
The Disembodied Jormungar (ghostly worm) is one of my favorites, available during one non-repeatable Storm Peaks quest. I always make it a point to go do that quest to tame that pet.
a pretty cool pet for hunters (any spec) is Pitch in Sholazar Basin. theres a quest to kill it, but its a black lion, like the male lions in The Barrens, pretty cool color pallete that is unique
The ghost wolf, I believe it’s from a shaman quest if I remember right. It despawns really fast so you need a haste pot and bloodlust to get your cast off in time
I think you’re referring to the ghost wolves that the grim totem spawn in Dustwallow Marsh. Also, are you sure they’re tamable this patch? I’m seeing mixed answers online
@@freerunmassacre possibly, not sure which. The video I saw said it required BL, battle drums, and haste pot. But I watched it like 10 years ago so don’t quote me. I just remember seeing the shamans spirit wolf as a hunter pet and looked it up
My pet is a single Wolf from Blade's Edge. Nothing fancy. Weirdly, because its so normal - it stands out. Everyone else wants a fancy pet, and here's me with my little wolf boy Reginald. And I'm happy.
I have the white moth, arcturis, black devilsaur, yellow silithid and a fel hound. Thinking of dumping the fel hound for a tank pet since I dont have one

I was just thinkin about this the other day, and how we used Eyes of the Beast to scare lowbies in Elwynn with it, too. 😂

I don't believe u can get it anymore idk why but I'm pretty sure it was one of the first rare hunter pets to be removed
@@TASTYxCAKES the first was an ooze back in vanilla, also you cannot tame the grim totem spawned wolves in wrath classic
Thanks very cool video ill deff be adding a few of these to my stable

I’d love more videos like this! :D Ones for Retail would be rad too!
The rotten boar from RFK looks sick it’s blue with bones showing
Winna’s Kitten from felwood.
I have the white moth, arcturis, black devilsaur, yellow silithid and a fel hound. Thinking of dumping the fel hound for a tank pet since I dont have one
isn't Arcturis a tank bear?
I lucked out on the finding the spirit leopard, Just after I tamed King Krush.
At 1.22 we see your talents tree, it show 57 in BM and 72 unspents talents, 129 point total?
Private server?
King Mosh also is a cool skin
Aotona....great looking pet that can be found in SB
Got 3 loque nahaks in total. One on a hunter ive stopped playing and 2 on a hunter i play occasionally (needed 2 for the talent thing).
you forgot oil stained wolf coolest skin ever and a fuckin nightmare to time correctly....
So many cool pets... and only 5 slots... 😭
You can buy some pet storage i think

is that albino dinosaur in Un'Goro Crater tamable?
Yes and they hit so hard. But you have to be beast master.
And you can have 5 pets only. >.< so you're kinda fucked from the get-go, if you need 1 wolf for raiding and want the 4 spirit beasts too.
I got Loque'nahak after 5 minutes of hunt omg is that rare ??
I've never heard it called a "skin". They're not just skins, they are not decorative only. Pets have different abilities.
Skoll
Maaan u just fkd over my Pet, now everyone will have that Wolf....
