      I absolutely love your videos! They have been incredibly inspiring and provided a ton of helpful information.
      I have one question, based on comments you made in previous videos. You mentioned that you have someone picked out for your skin removal surgery in the United States. I used to weigh 493 and I am already down 53 pounds. I would be so grateful if you would share a recommendation for these surgeries and am approximate cost based on your extensive research. I need to start working now to save because I will absolutely need that treatment at the end of my journey.

    Losing weight has always been a part of my life so I had never thought of a reality where i didnt have to lose weight. When you said, "The first thing on my wishlist is to no longer lose weight"... I've never thought of that before and now I want that too.

    I just signed up for BodySlims April 2023! I have lost 103.5lbs in the past 18 months with ONLY nutrition and intermittent fasting (and Overeaters Anonymous) and I am now to a point where I've finally started strength training at the gym. However, I can also feel that my body is ready to MOVE with the arrival of Spring (FINALLY!) My goal weight is 22 lbs away and I know that with a shift in hormones and other life changes, I'm going to need help and accountability for this last final push to - as you so beautifully said - NEVER having to lose weight ever again! Thank you, again, for sharing your journey and your endorsement of this program. I AM excited to get started on the 26th!

      That's what I thought I could do. nutrition and intermittent fasting. At a time when I have healthier meals and good portion control and the ability to fast. I would have thought the weight would just drop off me. Nope. If anything the weight loss is slower than ever. I've started doing some resistence training at home, but my job is 5 hours of resistence training LOL.

    When you said you were finally done losing weight, this clicked for me. Im always in weight-loss mode which is really maintenance. Signed up and ready to end this crazy cycle. Thank you.

      @@lisacho2725 as much as you want. Also it’s only the video that’s up for 48 hours. The audio version for is available for the entire 10 weeks. They are about 1.5 hours or so.

    Just completed round 1 of Body Slims and couldn't wait to secure my spot for round 2 in September. I lost 15 lbs and never imagined I could do that in 10 weeks. 1.5 lbs loss a week is a safe and healthy loss for me. I have a long way to go, but for once in my life, I have hope that I can do this on my own. I am currently on the wait list for weight loss surgery, but may decline the surgery at this point. I feel so good with Body Slims, I don't really want the surgery anymore.

    I'm starting this month. I'm in California. I know my issues with food are psychological, which I have never addressed...hence the yoyo with weight loss and gain. Love that the program is self-limiting. I joined because of your YT channel, Carla. Ready to go!!

    I’m on week 10 of BodySlims and absolutely love it. I’ve lost 16 lbs so far with 40 to go until I hit my goal wait and I’ve signed up for my second session.

    5'9" 43yrs old, 294 pounds. I'm on day 6 of walking 1 hour a day, getting further in my distance within that time, outside............ i didn't know it was possible to walk off the large amount of weight I carried. So this is the first time I have ever done anything like this before and that is thanks to this thumbnail and your message.
    I will have to reduce my own calories as it's easily possibly since I have celiac disease (zero gluten), and food availability is expanding, yet my appetite is nearly at a zero as it is associated with pain for to many years of not knowing.
    Despite that, I wanna thank you for this journey I am now on, two days after watching this video. I just know in my dna i will lose the weight. Relying on my Lord through this journey and yours and maybe other voices... Yet I will keep you updated right here throught the next year. Thanks, hugs, Shana signing out.😊🎉

    I finally took the plunge and will be doing BodySlims this upcoming cycle! I lost 17 pounds earlier this summer with the immense help of you! I have relatively maintained the weight but since starting medical school about two months ago, I see those unhealthy mental thoughts creeping in and I made a promise to myself to put my health and wellbeing FIRST as I start med school. So this is perfectly in line with my desire and am really looking forward to it!! Onwards and upwards :)

    I have signed up for the January course since I just found your channel a few weeks ago. I have been dieting as long as I can think back and relived the same circle over and over again. I have spent so much in the past years that 250 Euro is a no brainer for me. I can't wait t o experience the difference. Body Slims found the best ambassador there is in you Carla!🖤

    🖤👌Carla, you are just the BEST ambassador (BodySlims or anything) with your grounded message of YES. I am in the USA and started another program at the end of July which sounds akin to BodySlims (calorie deficit, moderate exercise and getting aware of psychology) and I have already lost around 10 of the 30 lbs I need to be losing for health. Hands down, the biggest difference that I see this time is that I have started to speak appreciatively to myself and to seek the steps that show self-respect and joy. It has been a decade since menopause and last year I added breast cancer and its weight-gain-promoting antihormone treatment to that (I am ok!). All my life until menopause I did not battle weight gain. But once I did, I let it go for a decade because I did not know how best to approach reckoning with it. Now that I am on the journey, I can plainly see that it does start with self-regard. I am learning to keep going from that stance and it builds my confidence that I will succeed because success is what self-regard fosters - and just listening to you speak about your own story and your own methods and means is truly inspiring! Thank you!

      @@HalfofCarla It is called Badass Body Boss, run by two young women out of Seattle, former Microsoft employees who went on their own study of nutrition based on their individual experiences. They have a number of TH-cam videos over the past 2 years, under the channel title of Coach Viva. It sounds very much like BodySlims in philosophy and you might be interested in seeing how they present information. I am a believer in anything that results in internalizing a sense of success that is ultimately reflected externally and I am convinced that the psychology aspect is the cornerstone that fosters success with the calorie reduction and body movement aspects.

    I've done one round and am.jist about to start the 2nd and I have lost 50lbs so far. Its fantastic, it works like nothing else. I've never list this amount of with any program before, I've been offered cake, pizza etc and I zero interest, I have a goal firmly in sights and nothing will deter me. I would never think like that before bodyslims. Just go for it. 🖤

    I really appreciate your story. I've done so much mental and emotional work in the past few years and have made a lot of progress in my life but I still haven't been able to make consistent progress with my weight. Maybe Body Slims is the tool that will help me. It's def cheaper than ozempic which was my next step.

    Hi Carla, I love your content and how much emphasis you put on mental health. Thanks for everything you do. Quick question, I love cooking and I eat mostly Indian food. I always found it is very hard to calculate calories on how made complex food like Indian food. I tried changing what I eat and eat more western types of food before and it didn’t last. Will this program work for me ?

    Carla, BTW - a Lovely name - glad I found this YT video. I'm a 71 YO MAN, who just can't lose weight ! I will look into Body Slims. I'm not Obese but do have a BMI of 31. 5' 10" (I've lost about an inch and half over the years) - 222 pounds (as of this morning). My main problem with exercise (the 1 Hour of Walking a day) is curtailed because of Spinal Maladies of arthritis in the vertebrae and Facet Joints, degenerative disc disease, disc bulges and multiple sites of Stenosis AND Dextroscoliosis. It SUX big time creating Chronic Pains and terrible stiffness. I do want to persevere - losing weight can offer relief by taking add'l pressure off the joints (OA in my Knees and Hips too). I like your statements : Honest and Authentic. This program is unlike the many programs that are out there: GOLO, NJ Diet, Nutra Systems [Marie Osmond at 63 does look spectactular!], etc. Curious .....does this program require various supplements to take?

      I should add to my comments....Does the program ask if a Physical is done? Does it enetrtain that perhaps there is a physical Malady like a Thyroid Issue?

      Hi there, (sorry I didn't catch your name)! In terms of BodySlims it doesn't prescribe anything that you need to take, there's no upselling. There is only one slight difference in the options, both options are exactly the same but with the "coaching" option you get a weekly feedback message on your food diary and on your walking, and weight result. In answer to your question about physical ability, BS will always ask that you clear your capabilities with your healthcare professional and adapt the programme under their advisement. For example if you are unable to walk, then perhaps you can swim, if you cannot do that at all, then that's ok. Weight loss is only 20% exercise, the remaining 80% is down to calorie deficit, so as long as you can count your calories you're able to do it. I hope this answers your questions 🖤🖤

      Also I am very interested in your next video. Have finished my binge eating/food addiction therapy today. Am so happy and proud and also a bit nervous about starting a more rigourous weight loss programm right now. What are your insights? I trust what i learned in therapy won’t conflict with bodyslims and trust myself and my judgements more now, but still…

      As you said yourself Sylvie, it's about trusting yourself and what you have learned. Ensure you remain grounded and if you are doing BodySlims which is what I interpreted from your comment, make sure you listen to the seminars with your full intention and attention xx

    Hi Carla lam new to your channel. I want to do bodyslim but lam on the fench this isn't a keto thing. Been on different diets before always put it back on. Need to lose more then 10 kilos l recently got heel pain plantar fasciitis and it's distracting my day l can't walk properly l am to see a phiso to get it fix. I desparetly want to lose weight. You've done soo amazing. Ian from Australia l can relate when you spoke about your dad l was a carer for my dad too love put on weight slot of times worked really hard a few years ago l lost 24 kilos but l put it back on. Thank you for being honest. I used to walk like crazy but lve lost motivation since lve had the heel pain. Ian very interested in your video s glad l find you. ♥️

      Their program is online and worldwide, it’s 250 Euros, which translates to about $260.55. I just signed up… I am also from Texas! You can sign up and pay using your credit card, which will convert the currency for you.

      Because of the way the years are laid out, most people away for Aug so to fit the 10/11 weeks they can only do 3 xx

    I would love to do body slims . I’m in South Africa and with the rand to euro exchange rate it costs R4500. This is what I earn per month . Is there a way for me to pay it of or in installments if possible. I want to do it but not affordable for me

    I have a question just about counting calories/ creating a calorie deficit for me this would fit into the stuff I’ve tried that didn’t work. I lost weight, hit a plateau and it didn’t seem to matter what I tried after that, I lowered my calories, hired them my weight just stayed where it was. Then I gained it back. How does this program deal with that type of thing?

      It doesn't deal with that at all, unfortunately. I really like Bodyslims I am on round two but they gave me 1,300 kcal although I am 5'11 starting weight was 190 lbs and I am 50+ years old. I definitely know that 1,300 kcal would be starvation for me and damage my metabolism so I just go 10-20% under my caloric need which means that I eat around 1,600 - 1,800 kcal per day. I added dancing classes 3 times a week to round one plus additional strength training to the walking in round two and that works well for me, although my gains are rather in changed behaviour patterns, better shape, health, energy, consistency, mood, day structure,sleep, dress sizes than actual weight loss. Meaning I lost two dress sizes but only lost around 10 lbs. Anyway, it makes me feel much better so it's worth it even though I am not staying in my 1,300 cal allowance which would definitely trigger eating disorder patterns and over-eating.

    Hello! This might not be the best place to ask, but the program has closed and I just saw your video today so I figured it’s best to get as much info as I can.
    At a cursory glance, it looks like the program does not want you to do any exercise except for walking every day. That’s a great exercise and I would love to do so, but I live in a desert. I might have access to a gym where I could use the treadmill, but unfortunately I wouldn’t be able to go every day. Are there any alternatives within the program?

      They give you swimming and biking as other options. I had the same problem but for the reverse reason. I live in Buffalo, NY and we had 3 blizzards during my first BodySlims session!

    Is there any meal plan with Body Slims program? My retirement home provides 3 meals a day, but I prefer to eat two a day. I would not want to sign up if cooking is required

      I don't have to be skinny as much as I need to be "free".

    A question Carla. What is I can't walk? (at least not much). I had a cervical spinal cord injury two years ago which left me with limited ability in walking.

      Weight loss is 80% diet, I was injured for my first 6 ish weeks of Bs and couldn’t walk, I still managed to do it. It might be slighter slower or take a bit longer, but it’s still possible (under the guidance of your medical professional of course!)

      I am in the last week of my first session and already signed up for the next starting in April. They cost the same and we are told that there is new and additional content for the second session. Hope that helps!

    My only concern is that calorie counting can trigger a sense of restriction, and then you end up bingeing at some point. I know you managed to overcome your EDs before trying the programme, but why/how do you think you managed to avoid going down the path of restrict/binge whilst calorie counting? Thanks 😊

    So you lost the weight by eating in a calorie defecit and walking 1 hour a day. Well I'm doing that and I'm struggling, results wise I mean. I'm actually doing more than 1 hour a day, 'cause I have a physical job I do up to 15hrs a week and sometimes I walk 3 hours in the day. I think maybe the problem could be an ageing problem, muscle loss. I've started doing resistence training in with my walk. I was hoping to lose weight without having to pile on the stress just yet. Not until I get to 75kg. Every time I've done a diet it's always been a struggle though and I always hit a wall where the weight loss just stops. I was running 2 hours a day to try to push off the weight and doing a keto diet, took me a month to lose 1kg. I think I would have lost that without the running tbh. Very frustrated.

      Please try intermittent fasting a ton I have 2 or 4 hr window to eat in a day. The rest is water/tea/coffee. And it is the best thing I have done! It Really works.

      @@janabanana2415 Hi. I've come to realise the best way for me to lose weight is feast famine. That wasn't an option for me before. I might have become a binge eater if I'd tried it. 2 to 4 hour window sounds extreme. I try to eat 2 meals a couple of times a week, but I can't always do it. For me it's like holding my breath under water, holding off eating, I become overwhelmingly desperate to eat something, like my life depends on it, like a powerful survival instinct. I find I put on a lot of weight if I eat too much bread as well. It's probably water weight, but it really knocks out my motivation. I agree intermittant fasting will get me there. Thanks for the feedback. Most appreciated.🤗

    I read that when you are on a weight journey you end up saving money because of all the money spent on crap food etc! So that frees up $ to spend on program....
