I hated that boss when I started playing but in the new game plus and understanding the story Romeo is one of my favorite characters❤
It’s such a tragic fight once you learn about Romeos connection with Carlo and his true intentions for P, makes me wish we had the option to save him in NG+
yeah they could possibly add something like that i really feel bad fighting him actually i dont feel like defeating him just because his dialogues are now translated 😢
we win this fight but at what cost makes me feel guilty for not being able to do something for romeo @@Veloketh
Playing this game a few times and I'll never get tired of breaking his weapon and perfect guarding. It feels so satisfying when you learn the boss. Favorite boss of the whole fight.

The trident is honestly nutty. Both on ads clearing and boss dps. The fable arts it gets are honestly really good as well. But imo i dont use the trident on bosses. I really only use Proof of Humanity on bosses. It just feels good to use even though its not the best.
I switched from the rapier to the trident when I struggled with the first black rabbit brotherhood fight and never looked back. I just like getting a weapon I really vibe and have fun with, imo performance and stats are just secondary unless it’s like frustratingly bad or op
I felt sad after beating him especially after he tried offering his hand in friendship

I’ve been struggling with this boss for a few days now, can you tell me what build you are running + stats?
I‘m running a crit build with trident of the covenant (A scaling in Tech) and assassin’s amulet. I was around lvl 100 at this point in NG+, most points put into Tech, then Vigor/Capacity, then Vitality.
I did this fight with a lightweight build with no armor, but if ur struggling I recommend running medium weight with some decent gear/frame so u can take more hits
His stats are "got gud."
I bet he'd be able to pull this off with any build. Impressive!
