Another incredible performance. It feels as tho you make the boss your dance partner as you frame perfectly weave in and out of attacking and parrying.
2:21 was freaking awesome, the trading of blows blew me away.
Man most of the bosses from LoP are well-made, it can be directly compared with from's. Love Nameless puppet as a true final boss.

@@smol-shogun4722I'm at NG+4 right now at Lies of P and played most of the fromsoft's games(mostly over 200+ hours and 1000 hours at DS3) besides Demon's souls and I can safely say they are well made.
@@smol-shogun4722 the only issue I see with LoP bosses is that they're a bit short on moves...

Amazing run. Proof of humanity is such an awesome weapon.
It is but in my opinion it needed a buff, so hopefully it’s stronger after the patch. Considering you get it from the very last boss I think it should be the best weapon which it wasn’t pre patch

Dude is an artist with the way he fights! Using all the tools at his disposal but in a very flashy but effective way. I don't think I could get on Ongbal's level if I tried!
I mean if you tried really hard, and had a lot of time on your hands yeah!

Those new effects look really nice, honestly thought this patch would ruin a few bosses but i actually like that new yellow flash effect on the dash attack he does.
is that a new thing. I was so surprise cuz idk his brain flash yellow before he dash lol
@@HienNguyen-bi4xvyeah it must be new, i got destroyed by that attack a few times when i fought him and he definitely didn’t flash yellow.
If i remember it correctly, it was therefore a „red“ flash. Maybe they changed it because you didn’t see it so well as the yellow flash😅
There is still a red flash, it comes out a bit later now it seems, but the yellow flash is there to invoke a reaction for the proper timing.
I think its a good change overall.
Where as before it was a little more difficult to tell where the timing for your parry should be.
@@diggi0307 Yea i never notice there was a red flash before. Maybe cuz his whole body is also red lol. or maybe my eyes are just bad. Anw I love this change.

I just beat him yesterday for the first time and got the Rise of P ending, and I must say....the Scissors rock for NG+. Only took me an hour or two to get to Fuoco with em at +4 and 30 Motivity and Technique. Good Job on achieving this, I am really impressed with it.

I'm still surprised at how he defends attacks so quickly in a tiny space of time. He's not using the grindstone perfect defense is pure skill and this is incredibly insane.
Many people can do it if they put just a bit of effort but many don’t bother doing so

Proof of humanity is my favorite weapon. Only issue I have with it is it doesn’t have a different mode where you split it into two swords and use it like that.
The reason why it does not is kinda funny. Thing with Lies of P boss weapons is that each one has to be mechanically unique. Holy sword of the ark already has switching modes thing so they had to think of something different for this one.
I think the game avoids making dual weapons because they would not fit with some legion arms , maybe I’m wrong tho

Yeah actually makes sense it would have been cool to use the proof of humanity dual wield but I don't Think that game actually is programed for dual wielding

Interesting that this was added only the last patch which shows how much the devs care even about such small details to grant players smoother experience
@@ahmadalghamdi4425 another thing they also made it so u can’t circle strafe that move now. I’ve just tried that last night but at least u can parry it. Hell they even slowed down the pace as well

I see they added a tell to the Nameless Puppet's charge move where the head flashes yellow. You just had to try to predict & hope when I did it. Lol
Oh, that's cool. There was a tell before, but it was really subtle. His head twitched twice, and you had to press the block button to match the timing of the third twitch.
@@Saixga I missed that completely then. I got hit more often than not but I could occasionally parry it.
@@RoninOnTheStickz It was very hard to notice. But when you knew what to look for, it was 100% consistent. But this new yellow flash is way better. Not only is it more intuitive, but it also looks cool with the instant dash attack

Wait they added a glow on his head when he does the crouching slash fury attack in phase 2? Wow that’s a nice touch to help players with the parry timing, it was very tough to learn the timing and there was no way to visualize it, you just had to have an internal timer to know when to parry

yep, that's new
the new patch changed a lot of boss/enemy telegraphs to make certain attacks and patterns more clear.
So far, all the changes they've made have been very good

You should try using the blind man double sided spear or watever it is called it has a parry charged attack

Maybe a boss with no patterns will be a challenge for Ongbal
I was always unsure how to pg consecutive quick attacks as someone told me that you had to hold down the block button a moment before the attack, and not tap it the exact moment like sekiro. Meaning I didn’t really have the time to hold block let go and hold again during quick attacks.
But at 1:58 the combo I struggled with it seems like you are just tapping block twice, is that how it works then?

Ongbal i want to ask u something,when u release these videos how many tries you got to make it perfect?one or two?
I don’t know about him with LoP and how quickly he does it nowadays, as obviously he is always improving, but I remember in the past he said he would often get a good Sekiro boss run in an afternoon. With that said, he probably gets his first no-hit run quicker than that, then continues until he perfects it. This is my guess anyway. Personally, I get my no-hit runs in an afternoon too, do a few more in that afternoon, then pick the one I like the most. I’m nowhere near as good as ONGBAL though! But I hope it helps put things into perspective if you don’t get a reply from the man himself.
You can see the self destruction item in the quickslot, so he probably just does fights until he's satisfied, and if something goes wrong he uses the item.

Version 1.2 is difficult because you can’t guard fury attacks with Aegis. It looks they fixed it in 1.3
Did they give the perilous attack in phase 2 a warning (yellow light on the boss' head)? Good, that thing was stupid without a warnin, too fast to react and traveled way to far to run

Btw after reaching certain level maybe around 100 the reqired ergo per level start almost freezing until around 180 then it starts going up slightly until 250 which is my current level , the required ergo for next level for me now is 25k only , it took me so long just do say that having this much ergo is understandable lol
