I've seen over a hundred IONIQ 6 in person, physical, actual, production model cars, of course. BUT I still do have difficulties differentiating one from another especially among the four colors I've just listed. Let me walk you through and show you up-close look of all exterior colors of IONIQ 6 (limited to domestic market though) and tell you the differences.

Wondering if you might be able to answer this question. I believe in your other video you mentioned the Limited RWD and Limited AWD would be identical on the exterior, I’m curious if this is true for the interior as well? Does the Limited AWD come with any features at all that the Limited RWD doesn’t have, or vice versa? Besides the different spec rear tires, lower range, and more power, obviously. Mostly I am wondering about features outside of those.
I've been looking forward to this video since there were a few colors I couldn't get a good handle on in the pictures.
If the Digital Green is like the Digital Teal, the color will pop more in direct sunlight. I appreciate seeing the "American" version of the EV with the normal side mirrors. If I switch from the Ioniq 5 to the Ioniq 6, I will be trying to get the RWD version with the 18 inch wheels.
Good choice, like your taste! GoPro11 does a great job capturing the "actual colors" that are to human eyes, I think - at least much better than GoPro10 did. Being said, these colors are hard to tell, as I've mentioned over and over in the video. Hope this helped!
Ordered the "First Edition" for the german market in Serenity White. The First Editions come with Mat Black 20" Rims and all other contrast color parts and mirrors in black. This is going to be awesome! :)

Just pick up a sonata hybrid in biophilic blue pearl. Its such a dope color ❤️ 😍 love the easter egg... tag on key had black listed for color,advertising carbon blue but paint code on door was XB9. I dont think the dealer knew what it was lol. Looks like a midnight blue damn near black but purple in the California sun. It has lots of pearl in the paint.Thanks hyundai loveing my new sonata hybrid limited best car in class hands down.

I thought there is a Blue I6, but it’s always absent. Any idea why? I think I like the white and red. The black accents really pop on those colors.
You're not wrong, blue one is absent for Korean market. Colors in the video (+ Gravity Gold Matte to be exact) are all colors available for Korean market. And Korea is the only country at the moment with IONIQ 6 at the moment, so that's why.

I can't decide between Ultimate Red Metallic and Digital Green Pearl. The green looks stunning on sunny days but the red pops more in darker conditions. Which do you like more?
Since you asked my opinion, I'd go with the Ultimate Red Metallic any day.
Green in the long run, but you must wait about 1,5 year to get one.

I really liked the gravity gold matte and the digital green matte, but I haven't seen any in the driving videos :(
There was no GGM on any of test driving day, media car and such as you've mentioned. I'll try capturing one whenever I can!
I'm pretty sure the matte colors are available too which aren't featured here and a few greys.
White, biophilic, and matte green are the best. And unless it's dark I think it's not too hard to tell the difference.
Matte colors are available yes, just not for domestic(Korean) market hence not shown in this video. Would love seeing matte colors on IONIQ 6!

I really cant tell the difference between black and biophilic blue on screen.
Luckily, I have 2 biophilic blue Sonatas coming through my dealership this month so I will get to see it in person
Trust me, it's not the screen or my GoPro that's having a trouble picking it up, but that is what it actually is in person haha. However, take a few minutes with each color, you'd be able to tell the difference. I actually noticed Biophilic Blue Pearl at the end of the event after spending hours seeing Black, Gray and BBP.
@@CarSceneKorea I'll have a chance to see all of them in time, but really for now I just want to see Biophilic Blue Pearl so I can make up my mind on whether I'm getting a Sonata in Biophilic Blue or in Nocturne Grey.
I'm leaning towards Grey because it will match the interior and won't create a weird contrast with the red lining on the inside upholstery, but who knows. I'll really decide once I see it in person.
Nocturne Gray would look amazing with Sonata :)
The green looks black, but i Saw the vídeo 3 Times and now i can see the green it's kinda dark but i love it man...they look so good, t the nocturn grey looks Nice i like that color i wish the green was a green 👍 i also like the 18 wheel design

Are they doing any matte colours?
Yep, there are matte colors available, you can see a whole list in the description. It's just not offered in domestic market(Korea), hence not shown in the video. There's also bright blue color as well.

There is a bright blue - color we think of when heard Miami Blue - which is not available for Korean market. Google should find you one easily.

As mentioned in the video, it is all colors that are available for domestic(Korean) market except for Gravity Gold Matte, which nearly is impossible to find at the moment. And Korea being the only country with physical IONIQ 6 atm, this is the best I can do. Pardon me if the title turned out to be a clickbait.
Do you know which colours are metallic and which are not? Specifically biophilic blue pearl.
All colors shown here have gloss finish there is no matte. Biophilic Blue Pearl and all other colors shown here have same kind of gloss finish if that's what you're asking.
@@CarSceneKorea Its not about the finish but more of what is actually in the paint. So are the colours solid (no additives), metallic (metal particles) or pearl (ceramic or mica). Assuming the blue pearl is pearlescent.
The paints I've covered here all had metal particles, flakes and pearls which shined off the surface in a same manner both sunlight and LED lighting I had. There is no matte color for Korean market, so I assume it'd be similar to those we've seen from Genesis GVs and G series. The amount of clear coat also seemed to be identical on all these colors. Biophilic Blue Pearl definitely showed a variety of colors depending on lighting and angle. These colors are very tricky both in person and describing :'( Did the best I can do here!

Really a beautifull car. But 2 notes to Hyundai. 1. Why in the h..... do they not put in electric adjustable steering wheel???? With so much electronics, just add that extra feature for such a premium car. And 2. BUILD MORE FACTORIES!!!!. I so annoyed that we here ind Denmark, hear that there might be a wait time for about 2 years. And then you discover that you only have to wait a few months for a Tesla. So i hope Hyundai will ramp up production. They really hit the spot with Ioniq5 and now 6. But what does that matter if you have to wait insane amount of time in order to get one, unless it's a strategic maneuver. But right now, i think Hyundai will get a "thank you" card for from Tesla, whish are really getting momentum with their cheaper Model Y SR. So come on Hyundai produce-produce-produce :o)
It's complete opposite for Tesla and Hyundai here in Korea. Months for Hyundai(gotta get lucky though) years for Tesla. The shortage is indeed frustrating 🤦♂️
Color is not the big issue here. The biggest issue is when can Ioniq 6 be delivered! You can make up your mind but you must wait 1,5 year to see the car/color you picked.

i would only consider buying this car in a bright/fast color. i'm so sick of endless grey/black/white. i hope they send good colors to the US but i wasn't impressed with the color selection for ev6 in the usa. just a red and a blue. that's it. no yellow, no green. FE yellow was very limited. they sell green in other markets why not USA? Hyundai/Kia are making some excellent vehicles, why not celebrate that with some better color availability IMO. looks so boring to see a row of cars and they're all black white and gray.
