Careful what you wish for. As soon as you go above 6 speeds you run the risk of having a transmission that is constantly gear searching on the slightest grade and it is a million times worse than losing 1 or 2 miles per gallon. The price of this thing, no one paying that much for a car cares about MPG. 8 speed is more than enough.

They aren't doing much and this is a shame. QX70 (formerly the FX) is a great crossover that is totally wasted not being changed for 10 years then discounted. Moving from best performing engines to lazy cvt transmissions and underpowered cars. Just an example of a company/brand failing by its own wrongdoings.

@@LearningFast That I know. And even if and when they arrive, they are nothing like what the FX50s is and used to be when put up against its competition. The FX50s for instance back when it was first out was a more reasonably priced and more reliable vehicle than an x5 and X6 (v8) and a Cayenne S or GTS. Infiniti QX is nice and all but the Lexus LX and GX is where it’s at 👌🏽
In your opinion yes, in my opinion the Infiniti is the better pick!
And the Lexus IS so boring like Toyota so hell nah Infiniti is better
i go a 2019 as a rental last year. this truck drives great, handles awesome- but i was averaging 13mpg driving it gently. what a pig. instant fail was that it had no android auto or apple carplay. sorry infiniti- their is a reason why no one buys these
Why does it look like a van?
4 wheel drive remember.
The new Nissan Patrol looks great!
Infiniti Quixote.
That steering wheel needs to go.. the versa has a nicer one😂
@oneviwatara still looks super old and clunk and not well layed out
@oneviwatara yes I can agree with that..
infiniti is basically nissan i think
One of the fastest suvs? 🤔
Tahoe Rst, Yukon, Escalde, Explorer ST, Expedition, Navigator, durango srt, jeep grand cherokee srt, and bmw, jaguar, land rover and mercedes are just some suvs that are faster than that infinity...
And a Honda CR-V 😂
That test is at a higher altitude, that's why its slower. Car and driver got 0-60 in 5.9 seconds
@@Jackmerius_Tacktheretrix in general
Still faster then all the SUVs except the SRT and ST
@@BlackyBulger no sir. You need to drive them and see for yourself. I named just some off the top of my head that will smoke it.
Always hated that stupid fender fake air vent.
The first 4 minutes of this video are completely pointless. Why would anyone care about 0-60 on a full size luxury SUV?
If no one cared then they wouldn't bother giving them similar or better performance than their standard counter parts. But thats not the case.
Yeah. Let's floor the accelerator and get even worse MPG.
I can't believe the seats don't fold flatter than that, that's just pathetic. Also no standard cooled seats on the infiniti Armada... Wtf
14 city & 20 highway MPG with RWD,
13 city & 19 highway MPG with AWD is absolutely dismal. This dinosaur of an SUV is 10 years old, has gotten 2 facelifts, but hasn't gotten any MPG improvements at all. This is just pathetic. They might as well come out with a new generation of this SUV to actually make the engine more fuel efficient. The interior is nice but quite on the same level of newer models in this segment
INFINITI sales are abysmal. It is likely that they won’t even make it till the end of the year.
A.M the QX70 has been discontinued along with the QX30 and the Q70 sedan. There are no new INFINITI vehicles slated to arrive before at least November of this year.
In many occasions it outperformed BMW and Porsche. Now tell me where do Infiniti vehicles stand now. That what I was talking about.
Yea cuz every single day everybody and they aunts and uncles are buying Mercedes and Audis 😂😂
The GPS looks like it was made by Atari.
Compare it to a 2020 lexus lx!
30minforasn Lexus =Fucking boring ‼️
Carrington Hollister are you stupid? Lexus has a entire High performance division infinti doesn’t. Lexus makes much more powerful cars then infinti and faster. Two Lexus IS the leading brand for Japanese luxury and performance. Don’t be a troll
30minforasn Lexus will easily out class this
Why is 'FAST' an attribute being considered in a Truck or SUV? It seem silly... and I agree I wouldn't pay that much for any 'luxury' SUV. They look like minivans. Hey soccer mom's this video is for you. You can't load lumber, feed, or hay in these things so what good are they other than shuttling children to ball games and picking up groceries.
Towing capacity 8500.
interior looks like a 2007 lexus lol. nissan forgot its 2020. wood steering wheel? cmon. this isnt 2004
Wood grain wheels are awesome personally but I do agree with the rest
Geez! My 2008 Chevy Tahoe gets better gas mileage than that! 22/18
Crystal2Latina bad thing. U drive a chevy tahoe.
30minforasn : Umm okay?
Yeah.. I bet your tahoe spends most of its time at the dealership for sure.
@@andresgarcia3516 : Nope. You're wrong. At over 150,000 it has been on highway roads running great, and has held up for me and my family. Don't be such a hater :P
@@andresgarcia3516 GM trucks are notorious for consistent reliability.
Android Auto?
I'm guessing it's the new corporate Nissan/Infiniti infotainment system that does now have AA. I saw that the 2020 Armada still hasn't been upgraded.
Yes it does have Android Auto!!
Maui Chris and Apple Carplay too‼️
