Wow, you can really see that InTouch is much smoother just from the little shown in this video. Contrary to what people are saying in the comments, this was somewhat of a major update for this platform. The updates on the surface don't seem all that much, but they had to completely overhaul the electronics of this platform to add the newer infotainment and gauges. These were the two areas the QX80 showed its age most, otherwise the interior has always been extremely well built and luxurious and I personally think timeless. People keep commenting how old this thing is but it continues to sell consistently well for Infiniti. Despite its actual age they have consistently kept the QX80 up to date over the years AND continued to add more expensive models. And everything that has a screen is not a smart phone and doesn't have to be completely overhauled every year. People complaining about how "dated" the QX80 are not and don't understand the demographic that are buying these things... A large portion of people buying in this class of SUV are older and they aren't into all of the technology and can be overwhelmed by it, so the QX80 could actually be more appealing to them than the Escalade, Navigator, X7 and GLS... which explains why this thing continues to sell and you still see it parked in the driveways of pretty affluent neighborhoods.

This is a much needed update for the QX80 although it's still lags behind the new Lincoln Navigator in terms of technology and amenity features (no heated standard rear seats at this price point at least, c'mon Infiniti). Good review but I think when you cover an area, discuss everything in that area before leaving. (I was like well what was those lights and what was that button. I’m just saying.) you were kind of jumping all over the place.
Look I love Infiniti but any of their cars after the G37 and perhaps some earlier Q50s are just outdated. The interior needs a major overhaul to update it to the standard of Mercedes, BMW, Audi, and Lexus. Infiniti with its G series really gave its competitors a run for their money from 2013 and prior. Better performance and great luxury for the time made them a serious competitor. No car at the time was offering 330hps with their base models. It was because of Infiniti putting that pressure on the other luxury brands that they focused on catching up and one-upping Infiniti in the luxury department. Slowly but surely the German rivals made better interiors and increased their performance. Infiniti still offers very good base performance with its twin-turbo V6 but the interior is too outdated to justify buying them anymore. I own a G37S and it was an amazing car for the time and I drove both the new Q50 and Q50S models. They look good and the Coupe version (Q60) looks drop-dead gorgeous but again, the interior is just to outdated. The only reason you will buy and Infiniti is because of performance and looks, NOT LUXURY.

They're literally starting to overhaul the lineups of both next year. That's no excuse for letting everything stagnate for so long but, they are far from dead like everyone keeps throwing out there. Even tho their sales are down, these are not the lowest/worst sales Infiniti has seen. But for 2020 the new QX55 and QX60 will be debuting. Then comes the EVs. I think they should at least be unveiling their EV sedan in 2020.
If it ain’t broke, don’t fucking fix it
-Nissan since 1999
they literally gave it the screen from the 2014 q50 .... youd think they would go with something new and more updated... id rather get a bmw x5m over the qx80 anytime its a nice suv but its only appealing to a certain group of people. had the chance to buy a 2014 and i went with a 2014 mdx advance due to how big and boxy the qx56 was and the mirrors on the qx are small! and i feel like the mdx is just as roomy it fits my 2 7 ft friends perfect! also just one more thing if you do read this i own a 2015 infiniti q50 sport and the ''leather'' is not the best for a 2015 its already cracking and i clean and condition my seats just about every week. ive seen 10-13 year old bmw leather hold up 10x better.
@Car Confections -Can you review a Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross ?
We don't have a Mitsubishi partner dealership right now
@@CarConfections oh ok
Second!
Notification squad!!!
Great review 👏 i don't like the front .. interior is ok
Happy New year 🎉
Happy New year to you also! 🥳
I have this show stopper!
I must say the Exterior rivals that of their competition. However the Interior fails the likes of the BMW X7 and Mercedes GLS. The X7 and GLS Interior is Superb. Now only If Infiniti can get on the bandwagon of the Interior designer of BMW and Mercedes. Then it'll be Showtime.
Merry Christmas
Merry Christmas to you and your family as well!! 😃🎄🎅
Thank you for the review
For the price both displays should be the same size. It just does not look as good as say an Audi dual screens where both screens are same size.
The exterior still similar to the 2011 Qx56 to the 2019 Qx80 its time for a whole entire look i have a 2012 Qx56 and friends and family members with Qx80s and the interior is still the same
They have done “enough” to BARELY make the cut, I work in a wealthy area and these sell extremely well, so this will just aid sales but not by a large margin.
Is that Gloss Black Plastic around the radio😩😳😧🤦🏻🤦🏻
Okay but why did I get Nissan Patrol vibes?! (They have the exact features)
Ok we get it the qx80 is rebadged so is all the other auto makers the question I'm asking Infiniti is where are the new design because this is so dated and the rest of the line up
Y’all also judging but this is the base model. The upgraded interior is far superior
Interior of the Infiniti come from the new Nissan patrol that just came out
That's always been the case for the current generation... The Patrol is the equivalent of the Toyota Land Cruiser, which has always been a luxury/off-road SUV, so it's not a bad place to start.
still no carplay in the year of 2020?
Yes it has both CarPlay and Android auto! Sorry for the confusion!
QX80 is very Good
look at that music bro in first part
I hate the interior of infiniti and cadilac. But i love the exterior.
Lol have you seen the new Escalade interior for 2021?! Cadillac ain’t worried
Nah this is more on-par with the new Yukon Denali. The Escalades interior is a few steps above this one. IMO.
Nissan should be shamed using literally the same key fob as a $16k Sentra on the GTR and their Infiniti lineup
What are those rear taillights turn signals 🤮
Looks like a 2021 Patrol
New dashboard... with analog dials...
I like patrol
So they updated the 2020 models with 2015 infotainment system. Jesus!!!
Don’t buy this car. INFINITI I is going out of business this year. Their CEO committed massive fraud against their parent company and the whole brand is failing now.
Infinity is dead, not dying, dead
Infiniti Qx80 io dico sto bene si io dico si molto
