I dont understand why anyone would sell on any storage drive, of any type. If you know what youre doing a lot can be reconstructed even from a formatted drive. Me, I use a hp magnet to destroy the buggers.. although a hammer would do. And before selling on a used pc I'll get a new drive & pull out the one I Was using. Height of folly, selling off storage drives like you see.

Not sure if there are cracked versions of disk drill but there are probably alternatives that are much better
