I absolutely love the gender-swapped short movie that was ~$500 I think they 100% nailed the assignment, but also recognized that your request wasn't meant to be taken "seriously". They picked up that it was a bit of a spoof. Gender swapping was a good choice too, because it added to the comedy, but also allowed the "bitches" comments to be less misogynistic. Don't get me wrong, if I were watching a movie where the male characters were calling women "bitches" every 5 seconds, I wouldn't be offended. Depending on how well the movie was done I'd either laugh along or just not care to watch it. I wouldn't write in angry letters to the producer or anything. But something about gender swapping the roles so that the comedy could be delivered WITHOUT being "offensive" for most people, was clever. Really really funny, and great job to that team.

I loved the Chad, Brad and Lad one. How they went over the top with the performance and everything. Hats off to them. But what made me really happy was seeing that one of them had a UPEI hat on, considering I am from there and I never thought I’d see anything to do with little old PEI on a big popular TH-cam channel:)

I've always wanted to see a film competition where a bunch of indie filmmakers or very small film studios are given the same script and outline with character descriptions and see who creates the best looking film. Yeah you might watch the same film over and over again. But each time you'd get a diffrent take on it and locations it was shot at.
It's not entirely the same thing you mentioned, but the ABC's of death kind of did something similar. They gave some indie filmmakers and animators a letter which would be the topic of the horror short they were supposed to create (like G for Giraffe or something)

crispy concords… my oh my where do i even begin. your videos saved my life. one moment i was sad because my pet anteater, kevin snevin barnes jumped down a flight of stairs because he forgot to take is meds and he hallucinated some ants, he was hospitalized and deported back to his home country to get proper care. i knew i wouldn’t be able to see him again, because by the time he got home i would be off to college at the university of montreal (um like the hit band “of montreal”???) at that point, i was just ready to also jump down the stairs , without kevin snevin i’d have no reason to be alive. until one day, the gedagedigedagedago chicken nugget and henry from the music freaks came to me in a dream. they just said “why is an orange called orange, but an apple is not called red. eating a burger with no honey mustardddd” but when i woke up i just started to think. what the fuss was that dream? i decided to google dream meanings. google really had no answer, so i decided to see a therapist. not to cope with my mental issues and the loss of kevin snevin, but to figure out what the dream is about. “what does this mean! please help me, i can’t get this out of my head!!” i shouted after explaining the dream. the therapist told me it means absolutely nothing and my brain is just rotted, and she told me to put my phone down for a while. i sighed. on the walk home from her office i saw an open manholes. “who hath opened this manhole?!” i said. then i heard a voice. “crispy…. crispy….” i thought i was having a schizophrenic moment!! i was terrified. i started griddying home. when i got home i locked the door and hid in my bathroom closet. i decided to take out my phone and search “crispy crispy” i was sure it meant something. but the first result was crispy concords. i thought his videos looked goofy so i ignored it and proceeded to have a breakdown. one month later: my mental health was at an all time low. it was around christmas so everything was snowy and cold. i decided to go on a walk so i could just bury myself in the snow somewhere far from home and suffocate. until i saw a flyer that said “christmas lights in concord!!” what the sigma? concord is in new Hampshire, im in ohio!! but it reminded me of something. crispy concords. maybe this is a sign!! i thought. i ran back home so i could go on my samsung smart fridge and watch crispy concords. and boy oh boy that changed my life! my mental health immediately skyrocketed, and kevin snevin immediately appeared at my doorstep!! “kevin?? you weren’t supposed to be home for months!!” i said. and i even realized what my dream meant. it’s a secret though, i can’t tell you😂 crispy concords always made me laugh so loudly i broke the sound barrier, but i finally feel happy. thank you crispy!
Parker, I know it’s a little off-topic, but I just watched your second channel video today, and I wanted to thank you for finding the strength to be so honest about your struggles with the rest of us. I mean it. I originally commented this on that video, but I thought I’d mention it here, and I apologize in advance for its length. Depression and anxiety issues are a constant battle for many of us-myself included. I’ve never really opened up about this before, but I lost one of my dearest friends to s*icide not even 2 months into my college freshman year, and it was one of the lowest points of my life. Then the pandemic hit; I battled some pretty horrible demons for over 2 years, while also trying to understand how to properly grieve such a massive loss. There were even times where I pushed away my loved ones out of fear I was a burden. When I was finally able to accept that my friend was never coming back & move on, I learned that it was so damn important to keep those relationships I still had, both with my family and close friends. Instead of bottling it up, I needed to be more open in venting out my struggles so that I could get the help I needed. What I’m trying to say, Parker, is you are in no way alone. I haven’t cried about it in years, but writing this is making me tear up a bit with all of these dark memories not gonna lie. What I’m trying to say, though, is that I can’t help but express my gratitude to you for opening up about the struggles of depression and anxiety. You probably won’t ever see this, but remember this: you are important, you are incredible, and most importantly, you are loved 💖 *Edit: thank you everyone for the kind messages. This is the most influential, inspiring, creative, funny , piece of fiction I have ever saw. This one video was better than any TV show I have ever seen. I think they 100% nailed the assignment, but also recognized that your request wasn't meant to be taken "seriously". They picked up that it was a bit of a spoof.
Gender swapping was a good choice too, because it added to the comedy, but also allowed the "bitches" comments to be less misogynistic.
Don't get me wrong, if I were watching a movie where the male characters were calling women "bitches" every 5 seconds, I wouldn't be offended. Depending on how well the movie was done I'd either laugh along or just not care to watch it. I wouldn't write in angry letters to the producer or anything.
But something about gender swapping the roles so that the comedy could be delivered WITHOUT being "offensive" for most people, was clever.
Really really funny, and great job to that team.

I've always wanted to see a film competition where a bunch of indie filmmakers or very small film studios are given the same script and outline with character descriptions and see who creates the best looking film. Yeah you might watch the same film over and over again. But each time you'd get a diffrent take on it and locations it was shot at.

crispy concords… my oh my where do i even begin. your videos saved my life. one moment i was sad because my pet anteater, kevin snevin barnes jumped down a flight of stairs because he forgot to take is meds and he hallucinated some ants, he was hospitalized and deported back to his home country to get proper care. i knew i wouldn’t be able to see him again, because by the time he got home i would be off to college at the university of montreal (um like the hit band “of montreal”???) at that point, i was just ready to also jump down the stairs , without kevin snevin i’d have no reason to be alive. until one day, the gedagedigedagedago chicken nugget and henry from the music freaks came to me in a dream. they just said “why is an orange called orange, but an apple is not called red. eating a burger with no honey mustardddd” but when i woke up i just started to think. what the fuss was that dream? i decided to google dream meanings. google really had no answer, so i decided to see a therapist. not to cope with my mental issues and the loss of kevin snevin, but to figure out what the dream is about. “what does this mean! please help me, i can’t get this out of my head!!” i shouted after explaining the dream. the therapist told me it means absolutely nothing and my brain is just rotted, and she told me to put my phone down for a while. i sighed. on the walk home from her office i saw an open manholes. “who hath opened this manhole?!” i said. then i heard a voice. “crispy…. crispy….” i thought i was having a schizophrenic moment!! i was terrified. i started griddying home. when i got home i locked the door and hid in my bathroom closet. i decided to take out my phone and search “crispy crispy” i was sure it meant something. but the first result was crispy concords. i thought his videos looked goofy so i ignored it and proceeded to have a breakdown. one month later: my mental health was at an all time low. it was around christmas so everything was snowy and cold. i decided to go on a walk so i could just bury myself in the snow somewhere far from home and suffocate. until i saw a flyer that said “christmas lights in concord!!” what the sigma? concord is in new Hampshire, im in ohio!! but it reminded me of something. crispy concords. maybe this is a sign!! i thought. i ran back home so i could go on my samsung smart fridge and watch crispy concords. and boy oh boy that changed my life! my mental health immediately skyrocketed, and kevin snevin immediately appeared at my doorstep!! “kevin?? you weren’t supposed to be home for months!!” i said. and i even realized what my dream meant. it’s a secret though, i can’t tell you😂 crispy concords always made me laugh so loudly i broke the sound barrier, but i finally feel happy. thank you crispy!

Parker, I know it’s a little off-topic, but I just watched your second channel video today, and I wanted to thank you for finding the strength to be so honest about your struggles with the rest of us. I mean it. I originally commented this on that video, but I thought I’d mention it here, and I apologize in advance for its length. Depression and anxiety issues are a constant battle for many of us-myself included. I’ve never really opened up about this before, but I lost one of my dearest friends to s*icide not even 2 months into my college freshman year, and it was one of the lowest points of my life. Then the pandemic hit; I battled some pretty horrible demons for over 2 years, while also trying to understand how to properly grieve such a massive loss. There were even times where I pushed away my loved ones out of fear I was a burden. When I was finally able to accept that my friend was never coming back & move on, I learned that it was so damn important to keep those relationships I still had, both with my family and close friends. Instead of bottling it up, I needed to be more open in venting out my struggles so that I could get the help I needed. What I’m trying to say, Parker, is you are in no way alone. I haven’t cried about it in years, but writing this is making me tear up a bit with all of these dark memories not gonna lie. What I’m trying to say, though, is that I can’t help but express my gratitude to you for opening up about the struggles of depression and anxiety. You probably won’t ever see this, but remember this: you are important, you are incredible, and most importantly, you are loved 💖
*Edit: thank you everyone for the kind messages. This was extremely painful to write-I actually did end up crying for the first time in a long time about it. I’m doing really well now, though-i’m working towards earning my BA in biology. On a more serious note, not a day that goes by where i don’t think of him. Even 4 years later I still miss him dearly, but I’ve learned how to cope with my loss in a healthy way & carry on with my life. Thank you again everyone from the bottom of my heart.

This video made me rethink my entire career. I've always wanted to make film videos and this inspired me to pursue that. This is the most influential, inspiring, creative, funny , piece of fiction I have ever saw. This one video was better than any TV show I have ever seen. And I've watched breaking bad, crispy you have changed my life. I was in a bad place before this video and I was unhappy doing the film stuff I Did before, lego stop motion. This video gave me a second to think and I realized so many of my LEGO skit ideas would be way better if done irl. I'm planning to start my own film company and this is the best start. You've motivated me far more than any other time in my life and I just want to thank you. Thank you so much, this video really changed my life. ❤
