Actually saved me with this series. Wiped mine by accident and Disk Digger somehow got 90% of it back.
"Somehow," I'll tell you how. :) When you wipe a drive, the data isn't actually gone; it's still there. All deleting stuff does is tell your system that it's okay to overwrite over the data that you "deleted" and removes the path to the data. The physical data is actually still there. What Disk Digger does is locate that "deleted" data and create a new path, etc. (It's a little more complicated, but this is simplified; there is also a lot of binary restructuring if you want to know in detail how it works. In short, Disk Grabber does a file system metadata analysis examining the file system structures to locate information such as file names, sizes, and locations. Then it will do signature-based scanning searching for specific file signatures or headers that indicate the beginning of a file. Then it will carve the data, scanning the disk for file fragments and piecing them together to reconstruct complete files).
You only got 90% of your files, as I'm guessing you might have added some new files after wiping the old ones. In this case, the new files would have overwritten the deleted data, or Disk Grabber just had a brain fart and couldn't restructure some of your deleted files, which is sometimes the case.
If you want to completely delete everything properly, do a deep format. It will take a while (longer depending on drive size). What that will do is overwrite 1 and 0 over every single bit of data on the drive, making sure it's all gone! Hope this taught you something.

It would start with a few videos like the one above and progressively get darker with a deeper narrative on the side until eventually the influencer goes missing or something.

If you disk drill and find only memes, they probably deleted the data then put that there and deleted it so that the blocks were fully overwritten.
I’ve seen my fair share of disturbing things but I have to say that 2nd usb was wild 😂

I found an old dvd disc once. It was just a burned dvd disc of 2010 youtube videos. Half don't even exist anymore. Some I found through the internet archive. But you cant view some on there. I still have this dvd. Interesting time capsule.

So how the disk recovery works is when you delete a file you don't delete the actual file, you delete the record saying where that file is located on the disk so that program looks for something called magic numbers. They are found at the beginning of most files. If you were to open a jpg image in a text editor you would see jfif in the very beginning.
Watching these videos... I'm starting to realize that either I'm relatively normal with the stuff I'm putting on my flesh drives (presentations, films... And that's all lol)

I think the one with the animatronics has the heads all destroyed because employees were required to do that when a restaurant closed down. They had to provide evidence of having destroyed the heads so no one could use them anymore.
