I’m about to go for the ghost mask but I’m on world tier 1. Should I get off world tier 1 and go to my own map on world tier 5 to make sure I get a level 500 weapon in the ivory box? I don’t wanna pick up a level 350 or something like that on world tier one. Thanks in advance.

I manage to get demon and wraith mask at lv 30 solo and it's terrifying for me they can hack your device and kill you quickly, its my first devision game idont play the first one

I still remember my first encounter with the Hunters on D1. Especially on Survival. So intense and frightening.
Just like when the Hunter spawned in Div2 during the story-line and got away. I was like WTF they brought the Hunters to Div2!! LoL

The Hunters spawn when you trying to evac on Survival mode and they randomly appear on underground mode. It's how we got the black stygian mask.

I was looking through my old screenshots the other nite.
Easiest way to get this done is to answer the call for a player in a low world tier and after helping them out, do not leave their world and knock all of these out.

Yeszir! I’ve helped a few people yelling for them to stay way-way back haha. You can get hunters to respawn also after you’ve beaten them.

If you're having trouble spawing the Spector mask (the window shooting) try swapping to a single for weapon. I was having trouble spawning him because I was bursting shots at the windows, when I swapped to my sidarm (though it'll work with any weapon as long as you shoot a single bullet), then it spawned him in.

You have to use a marksman rifle. Tried it 3 times with a sidearm and it didn't work

What was your load out when you were running these missions? Specifically what was your total armor?
You give the latest details I needed to complete the goal to have all the mask. I will give it a try in the coming days.
+1 for showing the co-ordinates. I don't know why more people don't use them when referring to locations. Also, the hotel with the 2 hunters? (Midas and Revenant mask.) That's the Watergate Hotel! (If you're wondering why that's significant, watch or read "All The Presidents Men".)
Great video dude. The only thing I would add is to put a marker for each hunter to show if it's done at day or night. Sometimes you don't mention it until very late into the manhunt...
At level 40 these hunters are tough as hell I have collected 5 keys have to collect the rest. Now I can check which I have and only go to the ones I need. Thank you man for this video saved me loads of hardship going around to them all... keep up the great vids,,,,

Excellent guide. I've been playing since launch and have only now decided to go for the masks out of boredom and I was able to bang out every one except Ghost with a friend in one in game night.

I just completed the Warlords of NY content and am level 40. I didn't even know some of these masks existed. Thank you so much for all the work you put into this video. I know what I'll be doing tonight when I get out of work. I really like the lavender one (for my female character) and the one with the cards (for my male character). I'm going to have to write myself a note if I hunt the hunters on WT1 so I can switch back to WT5 before turning in the keys or I'll get a lower tiered weapon as a reward lol.
I would like to Thank you for this in depth yet easy to follow well thought out instructional video. Wouldn't even know how to begin but after watching this I am excited to start collecting. Was a huge D1 fan and came to the D2 party late but was instantly hooked like before. Thanks for the time spent in making your vids.

Use GL, Tac-50 to kill them fast, 3 shots from the tac-50 and spam GL
Not sure if this was just me or if this is needed to be known, for the Specter Mask (The shoot the windows one) it's a single shot to each window using a full auto weapon and shooting each one more than just the one doesn't make it spawn. (I did it like 6 times with my AR then switched to a pistol to single shot it and it worked then, )

This is the best guide available. Every other video said stand here and maybe the hunter will spawn on a roof and use your signature weapon to one shot. I knew it was wrong so I just waited for the right video to show me and its here. Great work bud and thank you.

Thanks!!! I opened the Ivory as *different 5-tier character and got a 512 Shield Splinter gun (F2000). Easy as I made a new character, ranked it up to 1-Tier, level 30, then took Level 30 gear from stash so dummy character was gear score 495. Melted everything that got in my way 🤣😂🤣😂👍🏾👍🏾
I found it better to use an LMG to defeat Hunters. More ammo, no reloading which gave them NO chance of healing up.

one thing to mention for the wraith mask is that u need to capture the full length and width of the memorial so stand right beside the flag

The 5th Mask -- Spectre -- Its on a timer, if you dont shoot all those windows quickly the hunter doesnt spawn, i have video proof if you would like to see it.
It took me a bit to workout why it wasnt working, so i sped up the pace a bit, then after shooting windows spawned right away!
Just thought you might want to add that extra info in your video.

I tried getting that Crimson mask 10 times and got my ass handed to me every time. Those hunters are far more powerful than Rogues. It amazes me to watch someone like NothingbutSkillz glide through it so easily. You need a damn good build to kick their ass.
Just put the game on Normal and get it over with. The Scorpion exotic will kill them in 1 mag

As always great vid. Just one note, I had an issue with the Hunter to spawn for the Specter Mask. After several attempts, I noticed when shooting the windows in the proper order, I was using an AR and at times 2 shots would hit a single window. So I used my pistol to shoot each widow only once, that did the trick....boom Hunter spawned.

Dude thank you so much for this. We've been hunting Specter for a long time & didn't know this was the way. He'd spawn randomly on top of buildings just to tease us. Plus Cassie has a named AR for agents this week if you have all 8 ivory keys. CHEERS!

No once you spawn a hunter that is it. I think this was another flaw in the design of this game.
The devs made a lot of bad choices for this game.

How do you manage to kill yellow bar enemies so quickly, I tried to solo one of the hunters and didn’t do any damage at all on him at all, and you seem to shred them in just a few seconds!!!

I collected all masks, however, got only 7 ivory keys, what am I missing?
I have the same issue, it’s been difficult to figure out the last key.
This all still works as of August 2022. It was really fun.
I got the Shield Splinterer so I can make it proficient now. Next are the masks in New York DLC.

Nothing but Skillz is just running around casually and the Hunters don't even shoot him, when I'm fighting the Hunters with my Friends we are all in cover in still die instantly.
Yeah man I don’t understand how he kills them like they’re normal pawn mobs. I give them all I got and they just heal 20 damn times and constantly pushing up on me with no relief!

I didn’t catch his setup, but there’s a few things to consider here. 1: this was pre-Warlords of NY Div 2 since he said it was done in Jan. 2020, so the whole gear reset didn’t kick in, therefore it was a lot easier then to get gear and weapons with max attributes. 2: he likely had near-max Crit chance and a very high Crit damage. That’s pretty crucial in dealing a lot of damage to enemies. I would know cause I’ve focused on those aspects in my main build and I typically shred enemies. 3: he's doing this on World Tier One. That means enemies are a lot easier to kill than in Tier Five, naturally. Even for hunters, as you can see in his engagements. Now, of course I’m speaking assuming you folks have the Warlords DLC. If you don’t, well, get on it. It’s only $30 and you SHOULD be staying at home if you’re non-essential cause Corona, so get it lol

I love the Hunters and the masks are fine but i hate the way the dev's designed the method to getting these masks!

True! They're just NPCs to kill like all the others! No spezial encounter with supprise and a tiny fart of fear like in D1.
@@theVlKlNGR Well, i'm okay with that being the way of getting the MASKS. After all they're all easter eggs and are always a mystery in the lore. My favorite part about the hunters in TD2 is how you can find many of them watching you in specific locations during night time.
In my personal opinion, they should be also high threat constant enemies, like they used to be in Survival/Resistance modes. Imagine doing a normal bounty and suddenly a hunter spawns...
TD1 hunters were the hardest bosses I've ever seen in my life. In the Heroic level (couldn't remember the name of the mission) while you're done with everything on roof, 4 bosses spawns. But the hardest one was the hunter.

I got both the Crimson and Spectre mask from the hunters randomly spawning in the open world while I was running around farming things or completing open world activities. I definitely didn't do what you showed in the video. I'll have to try and spawn them again following your guide and see what happens out of interest sake.
Just a quick one if anyone has problems getting the demon mask to appear. I found this on Reddit. when you get to the location jump in the room behind you and shoot the light, immediately after this shoot the target in sequence. Everyone is saying do it the way in this video DID NOT WORK FOR ME FOR SOME REASON! Hope this helps.
Thanks again skillz. I'm coming back to the game and doing the things I didn't do in the base game. I haven't gotten the warlords, but playing the game now is still good and hopefully I'll be able to do the raids I never did.
Great video again, Skillz, doing this with a a friend who wants them, I don't really bother the masks, but hey, it's a new thing, so, I'm in, got 2 with him and one by myself. Can't kill those bosses so easily as in the video, but with a little bit of patience, it's easy. Gonna help him out trough all of this. Damn knee pads being block up for some reason.
