Sam Husted I’ve gotten 3 of it and have a friend who found 7 in 2 days. Thought it was one of the easiest exotic drop atm. Not an impressive gun to be honest.

I got the chameleon on my first ever bounty. Haven’t had any exotics drop from bounties since tho.

Just got on and I noticed that Jefferson Trade Center's targetted loot for today (Wednesday 5th) is RIFLE. If you still need the Merciless then at time of writing you have just over 23 hours to farm JTC and you're guarenteed to get a rifle off the last boss. It's how I got mine a few days ago, 5 runs on "hard" with rifle as the targetted loot and Merciless dropped flagged as targetted loot. Good luck!

For Sweet Dreams, I got all three of mine at the Federal Emergency Bunker boss. I was farming for a D50 with a friend and kept getting it.
Edit: it was NOT the invasion version of the mission.
I found my Pestilence in the Air&Space Museum when it had the LMG specific loot on it. It was my first drop and I was pretty surprised and happy considering I hate farming the DZ.

I did have the pestilence drop from a random wandering outcast Boss in the open world. This was about 3 months ago I don't do the DZ so I never got it there before this happened. It was right across from the fuel Depot south of the White House where random elites tend to spawn to the east.
I got pestilence from some random guy who I played in the dark Zone with for an hour. And I had just become level 30
I’ve got my first Pestilence last week in LMG targeted loot open world. So yeah, not restricted to DZ. It’s now my #1 gun.

You can definitely get the "Pestilence" LMG in the outside world other than the DZ, I was farming the stoner LAMG from an increased LMG drop chance mission, a tank elite enemy dropped it, this was the first exotic I ever got.
I that's my first and only exotic. How wierd once I found it I got 3 or 4 more in the dark zone and now I see it quite often but no other exotics.
@@cheesypooo6838 I see quite a few now, but a year has passed since you said this, so it may have been tweaked back. but also I am adding to the chain of confirming it outside of the DZ.
@@SevinChurch Exotics are pretty common on Challenging and above, especially from Main Mission and Stronghold bosses. Probably Rogue Agents too.

First time I looted pestilence was from a supply drop in LMG targeted constitution hall, world was set on challenging. Your vids are the best, keep em up.

My teammate got the Pestilence LMG in open world yesterday (March 1). He got it randomly near the Space Administration mission. Not in the mission but outside of it. We attacked a bounty in that area than moved on. It was from a random elite on the streets. It was my teammates 1st exotic
I've gotten 2 pestilence LMG, 1 from searching for components leaving the Archive safe house by Edward J. Kelly Park and the Building across from it. Skills has done a video regarding farming loot and faction keys underground I could not remember what faction was the boss but he was a medic. The second one near the South Lawn Fountain leaving from the White House, again could not remember what faction the boss was but I do remember he had a turret. Playing on PS4 if it matters. Hope this info helps others. Thanks Skills

I've just got the sweet dreams to drop in district union, then in the same night the lullabye in Potomac Event center. I have all but the ruthless and Eagle bearer, lol

The Merciless is predominately dropped at Jefferson Trade Center, but I’ve had it drop at the Grand Washington Hotel & Bank Headquarters for me. You want to damage the boss with a lot of damage (Grenade Launcher/Nemesis) to get the drop. Nothing’s automatic, but you stand a better chance doing it this way. Also, know that I already owned the weapon when they dropped for me at these locations.

You don't have to go to the DZ to get it, try it when the world loot is LMG's and it'll drop for you, does it for me
Got the game a couple of months back, can confirm that Pestilence is an open world drop.
I can also confirm Sweet Dreams being dropped on occasion in the DCD HQ mission

I don't really go after exotics but I ended up getting the sweet dreams to convert it to the lullaby but it seemed like sweet dreams was better than the lullaby I instantly regretted it

Yo Skills thanks for the video man I knew you would come through, but I am sure I am no the only one that requested this vid. When it comes to the Pestilence I found mine opening a gear crate believe or not trust me I was suprised. I was trying to get to shade tech crate and was justing uopening everything I found and BAM it dropped. I'll be farming for the other Exotic weapons for sure, thanks again man.
I got the Pestilence on an Outcast CP4 same goes for the Sweet Dreams, I never go the DZ, I also got the exotic sidearm doing a daily mission on hard by opening up a chest that you had to access by shooting a control panel.
I feel like the Eagle Bearer should become an open world exotic now that the raid is long past now.

@@geo4920 I am a lonley wolf,I don't like to play with randoms,fuck the Raid and just give solo players the opportunity to get items locked behind stupid raids in solo version of this this raids. I run 345+ armor,34 all weapon damage,36 rifle damage (diamond) with 31 assault rifle damage (invisible hand 22+DMG) and 89% DMG to elite. Soloing challenging missions and bounties and destroying everything in sight. I saw what a bunch of nerds can do in the raid and I can tell you for sure that you have to spend more time revive them then actually concentrate on the kills.Items should must not being looked behind bullshit stuff in the game,I payed the same amount of money for the game like you or maybe even more,so yeah.
@@geo4920 Not really. I didn't start playing the game until about a week ago when i first played it when the raid came out. Ive been on Div 2 since the beta but the Raid never interested me simply because a single gun that isnt even that meta breaking wasn't that important to me. If I could equip more than 2 exotic weapons at a time then it would be amazing. But TBH its not that big of a deal.
@@geo4920 Yeah EB 2.0 just seems like recycled garbage. I have more fun building sets from yellow quality gun builds than relying on a single exotic

Bell Cranel can’t remember but it was in the open world. Hyenas dropped it. Try the hotel mission

I got my first Pestilence from a Black Tusk invaded mission which also happened to be LMG targeted loot that day. I have never set foot in the Dark Zone so you can in fact get it in the LZ.

@Анастасия Смирнов I got a second chameleon on a challenging bounty first try. RNG is weird as fuck, I ran targeted assault drop for 8+ missions before I got it first time.
@@GANTH0RtheGREAT they really need a system like borderlands games there is not reason someone show have to do 30+ runs for one weapon, after the tenth or so round it needs to be a guaranteed drop
@@rorodollars Borderlands can be just as bad sometimes tbh. Just there is far more "legendary" loot in that game than this so you have a larger pool

I had my Pestilence at NYC personally. Dropped randomly in a elite convoy activity with LMG target drop.

I got my pestilence from doing one of the hostage-rescue activities in the open world while the area was a targeted Loot drop zone for the machine gun and that was my first drop of the pestilence I never got it from the dark Zone

I got one randomly from doing a landmark in the DZ and another one while taking over a control point with a friend in open world. Seems like it can drop anywhere.

Edit: Got my last two chatterbox item exactly in the same spots you showed here on the first try. Not sure the % chance is on that, but no complaints. Also, thanks for hipping me to the fact that once a piece drops in an area, I should move on. I was living a lie until then. Happy Hunting agents.

Just wanted to add, I got 2x Merciless as a reward while doing open world activities in an area with "rifle" as targeted loot , I got one as a reward for doing "Territory Control" activity and second for completing lvl 4 Control Point

I had to deconstruct my exotic weapons after the season 2 was released. So I decided to start the hunt for the level 40 exotics by the Chatterbox. Can you believe I found the 3 parts I needed EXACTLY at the same places you showed on the video? LOL
When i saw the this video in my recomended i went bruh. I just started playing on pc from ps4. Thx for doing this video cuz i aint watchin hella lot of videos for one individual weapon!
I was farming merciless for days, and yesterday i got so frustrated after doing at least 40 runs in last week and i went to DZ to blow off some steam. Well, i am solo player and i dont have good gear, so pretty much anyone can kill me in DZ. Also DZ is now full of people because of new content. Well i decided to do some challenge point. Not gonna lie, but i finished the boss after fighting for like 10 min since i have shitty gear, i saw it dropped some exotic. I was so happy and also so scared of how can i take it out without someone killing me. It took me like 30 min to get it out of DZ with careful planning and i got my first exotic the pestilence. I was done for the day. Then today i tried farming merciless again, and after 2 runs i finally got it. Not gonna lie, but after doing more than 4 runs, it was actually pretty satisfying knowing i dont have to do fucking trade center again. The only bad thing is that its 499 item level. FML. So i will probably farm trade center again so i can upgrade it. Or i am going to get diamondback and deconstruct it for the upgrade on merciless. I feel like diamondback is useless. Now next goal is Eagle Bearer, although i have no idea how i am going to get it since i dont have clan or friends playing this game. Its not easy for us solo players. If anyone wants communicative player in their clan on Europe server, let me know. :D

My first pestilence dropped in the dz. New to the game so this video helps a lot.
I tried going for the eagle bearer with people I really didn't know they was so salty it just kinda ruined me grinding for it.
Finding people to do a normal RAID is frustrating. It would be nice if it was like "Discovery" where you can just start a Normal Raid on your own and have random people join it. But having to invite people that aren't in a clan already is a pain in the a$$. I'm sure console companies are loving it forcing people to pay to play the game online, vs being free on the PC, but it's still annoying.

I got my pestilence at Tidal basin on heroic first time ever getting it. I just started playing the game again an the only exotic i had was liberty 2 weeks ago
On the “Liberty Run” you can do the missions on Normal and the pieces still drop. My friends and I created a second character to place our Liberty in that character’s backpack by first putting it in the Stash. Then rinse and repeat: Capitol Bldg, American History Museum, Viewpoint Museum & Space Administration Bldg. + D-50 = 2nd Liberty. You can farm this process and break them down to get Exotic components...FYI
I got my 1st pestillence recently from the LMG targetted loot area, it dropped from some random Black Tusk Heavy attacking allies in the street
I can't get the Merciless to drop... I've been farming for a month on Jefferson Trade Center on either Hard or Challenging. At least 4-6 runs per day. Nada... I love losing hours to this game on making builds but this kind of RNG crap pisses me off.

@@malinkiireed6287, yup. It was targeted last week... I lost count how many times I did the run on Jefferson Trade Center. It's really frustrating we put in the time to get it to drop and RNG holds us back. This sucks because I have a build literally READY for it. I've had the build ready for three months now.
Keep doing it I farm them missions like 20 times and match make u will get lucky I end up with 2 second one was a lucky drop from a match make I came in at very end of the mission right before the boss died on Jefferson mission u will get it

You hit lvl 40 in NYC and your exotics will only be lvl 30 if you get them prior, and theyre truly garbage at lvl 30 compared to 40 now where Im at. Im hoping I can refarm them all at lvl 40 now, but I dont know if I have to deconstruct my 30s Exotics before I can find lvl 40 components for them again.

About the liberty pistol, I did all missions solo in normal difficulty and I got everything. Don’t think you need to do it on hard.
Also for the nemesis if you do the invaded mission to unlock tidal basin and get the tally go back and do again the invaded stronghold at the same week. You don’t have to wait for a week. In my case it was Roosevelt Island the invaded that week. When I did the tidal basin I went back to Roosevelt and shorty dropped the second piece.

I've gotten multiple pestilence guns on invaded missions but on heroic and also got it at LMG looted missions on the highest level possible.

Thanks this was helpful! I wanted to see what parts and what blue prints I have and turns out I had most of the parts already. I went from zero exotics to 4 in minutes! Hopefully they don’t nerf them to bad. I’m almost wondering if it’s better to not unlock them until the expansion: level up. I don’t want to upgrade and grind again to get the exotics up to 515
I use the ruthless to proc explosive damage on my perfect spark backpack. While Holstered it shoots explosive rounds out that turns it on. Works for me

The hardest to get is the Eagle Bearer. Got mine on my second raid clear but I’ve known people who had 50 + raid clears and still no weapon

1mp3r1al C0MMAND0 I found my clan on Facebook or actually they recruited me. Keep at it. Someone will take you in and help you. You need to build a proper raid build first. This will ease the anxiety of the folks getting you through and show them you are serious.
I’ve spent very little time in the DZ, and i found my pestilence in the open world. and to be honest i don’t even remember how i got it. lol but i seriously love it.
I found the Pestilence in a container when I was leaving one of my safe houses in the open world. I have never been to the DZ.

The two guns people wont be able to get are nothing more then skins. Sure you get the level one versions of those guns but yeah when you get thier counter parts you can simply upgrade them to look like those guns.
Yeah then we got "tubers" saying that the Merciless and Sweet Dreams are "upgraded" versions of the Ultimate Edition guns......right....right.....they are RESKINS!!! not downgrades.
