As an Indian, I can confirm that I hate our education system for the insurmountable amount of pressure that is imposed to the students throughout higher secondary and college years. But at the same time, I am glad that it works the way that it does... because it helps build character, teaches valuable lessons and gets _some of us_ accustomed to the heavy competition in the world. Also, the main reason why I think it works well in producing good engineers and researchers is because of the huge number of candidates that sit in exams every year, forcing majority of them to prepare hard just to get a decent middle class job. A good amount manage to reach top-level jobs while others get stuck in limbo. It's sad but it is how it is.
Its only a pressure for if a student is dumb. 70% are average and have no problem related to pressure. Even American kids face pressure go watch 13 reason why.

I don’t think it’s the education system responsible for Third world countries success in science fields. It’s the hunger for success that drives them and the tough competition. Also I think population may be responsible as there are more people hence more smart people.
When you talk about the “Indian education system” he’s referring to institutes like IIT. NOT the regular copy from text book and paste Indian education education...
Positives about Indian education system is that, we've humongous competition ,and our syllabus is like, way ahead from others in many aspects, like my friend in UK sends me question of basic fraction that i studied in 5th Grade, that too when i was in 11th, when I'm studying complex numbers 😂. I can say that, if you've studied well, not too good, but just well, you can easily compete to other students of the world, in the subjects *. Especially when we're in 12th grade, we give JEE and NEET exams, here we solve questions that SAT can't match the level. Getting into IIT is tougher than MIT, and getting into AIIMS(for medical) is tougher than IIT. People who have studied genuinely in our education system lead to a good future. The most number of people who bash our system, have not studied that much. Yes, our system has tooooo much flaws, like I'm also irritated sometimes, but still, the other side of the coin is also bright.
@@youtubethings1371how is getting into aiims tough than getting into iit? I think publicly funded education system is broken everywhere, except the fact that Developed countries have good infrastructure which India lacks. The students who are going to US mostly come from middle class who have invested heavily on education of their children by sending them to English medium private education institutions rather than government institutions at Junior, middle and Highschool level.

I think, that the education system is fine. not the best but fine. It depends more on the person to have some benefits out of it or not. there is one problem about it. It keeps students too occupied and does not let us do some real life stuff.
our Indian education system is not bad. its good. the texts of ncert is perfectly arranged and corelated according to the standard. but there is a lack of opportunities.
Great point, although he never said any thing about the Indian education system and it's good that he didn't , honestly our system is extremely conservative has little change in the past 70 years after British left who made these systems for their own benifit to make workers for her majesty's service, hence is not at all doing justice to what could be done cuz wht could be done should be done whether it works or not is a different matter. People should be nurtured in a system that improves their well-being in life and not just stuff their brains with seldom used information.
Many foreigner think India is a dirty country it is a big slum and becoming an Indian I too agree but in these slum the people who live have a kind heart not only there many many people in India have understood humanity.
The only thing bad about Indian education system is... The pressure eather wise Indian students are worthy ( except me )
Its only a pressure for if a student is dumb. 70% are average and have no problem related to pressure. Even American kids face pressure go watch 13 reason why.

True. Asian education system is tougher making pyramids 😁

Dude, no one owns technology, it belongs to all humanity.
Agree white people (if you want to categorize human brain as white and yellow and black) did start the industrial revolution.
Any country can survive without other peoples help as it did before Europe or America industrialized first, who will stop others to emulate technology, no one can stop it.
Japanese watched how Europeans using technology and they learned and doing better than any European or American in many fields.
Just stop the BS of "we are better".
Technology is universal. We saw certain people talking about Aryan science. You know what happened to them.

Now, India under the current leadership there is a flurry of Indian entrepreneurs even coming out of small small villages and towns. If this trend continues and we cross 10 Trillion GDP, I am confident in next 10 years there won't be any brain drain and I am sure America will feel the heat

If Reservation system in India revised and applied in a systematic and rational way, without politicising it.. Only then the Indian talent could be Flourished in its homeland.
Absolutely and we must allow talent to grow not be suppressed by insecure ppl.
Screw this modiasurs first

There is just two thing is missing in Indian education system:-
1). education (practical)
2). System
2 things missing in the Indian education system
1- education
2- system
Well My Indian mates lets appreciate it for a time being and not crying about our education system every education system in world has loop holes it will get BETTER with time
Thank you sir for reinforcing that Indians are brilliant and have always been it has been the western influence that has been ruining Indian talents and mind in India. Thanks also for shutting down the fool next to you!🙏🙏
I don’t think it’s the education system responsible for Third world countries success in science fields. It’s the hunger for success that drives them and the tough competition. Also I think population may be responsible as there are more people hence more smart people.
When you talk about the “Indian education system” he’s referring to institutes like IIT. NOT the regular copy from text book and paste Indian education education...
Just the shear amount of competition in India make the students so good....but to be that good they also take and survive a huge amount of pressure
I freaking love him
He spoke my mind! 😂😂
Indian education system gave 'Zero' to the world. All modern day progress, was made possible by this contribution. EVERYWHERE. Including US of A.
Good
But I think they should promote practical and co curricular knowledge we need clubs
True
@@youtubethings1371how is getting into aiims tough than getting into iit?
No offence but I am(was) a jee aspirant,i remember breezing through phy and chem section of neet 2016 paper(said to be one of the hardest neet paper by the community but idk about that),mostly negiligible to literally no required calculation in phy, chem was whole NCERT,I don't remember exactly but took 1hr 15 min something like that(as far as i remember 45 min for phy and around 30 min for chem),even if u consider that getting into aiims Delhi is ridiculously tough feat,(I mean getting under 50 in neet),achieving the same feat in jee advanced is much harder(paper level is incomparable)

Here he didn't praise Indian education system but was blaming the American H1B visa policy, pls correct the video title

Indian education system totally sucks even though there are a lot of talented and hard-working youngsters in india. Please don't spread misinformation, ignorance cannot be a solution for a given problem. We need to work on our problems and find different ways to improove our situations.

I think, that the education system is fine. not the best but fine. It depends more on the person to have some benefits out of it or not. there is one problem about it. It keeps students too occupied and does not let us do some real life stuff.
Indian culture values education, it respects the teachers.
Both spiritual and nonspiritual education

Great point, although he never said any thing about the Indian education system and it's good that he didn't , honestly our system is extremely conservative has little change in the past 70 years after British left who made these systems for their own benifit to make workers for her majesty's service, hence is not at all doing justice to what could be done cuz wht could be done should be done whether it works or not is a different matter. People should be nurtured in a system that improves their well-being in life and not just stuff their brains with seldom used information.
