Hey man, just wanna let you know that i own OnePlus 7 Pro and i have been following your tutorials from how to root until this video. Your videos helped me alot. I have been updated to few major OnePlus updates and your tutorial videos never failed me. Thank you so much for these amazing tutorials. Wish you a good day.
Worked perfectly with the update to 10.3.3 I received today. Thanks again! Great video. I did notice that Oxygen Updater v4.2.0 had an option after downloading the full update for an *Automatic Update (requires root and TWRP). I didn't use it, and followed your tutorial. Worked like a charm for my OnePlus 7T! I almost followed a different (way more complex) tutorial elsewhere, but thankfully I first came to see if you had a tutorial, since I originally rooted my phone using your guide.

Just got it done thanks. But couldn't download TWRP , said it failed while installing anyways , installed magisk after that and rebooted as shown and it updated with the root intact. Thanks alot SIr.
Hey quick question: I have a bootloader unlocked and rooted OP6. If I follow your instructions, is there anything that can go wrong? Like ending up with a bricked or wiped phone? I really haven't touched any android updates in 2 years because I was too afraid...
They are different storage partitions and I believe they are to help protect against data corruption. The steps in this video are all you need to follow to update your rooted OP, you don't have to sorry about individual slots
Thanks again for a great tutorial.. But i have a doubt.. Can i use the downloaded file for extraction of boot image by boot dumper? Because i had updated my device by o2 updater.. And on the website it's different.
Yes if the firmware download is the full firmware (over 2 GB) you should have no issues extracting the boot image. I assume you want to extract it to root, so just make sure the downloaded firmware is the one you currently have installed on your phone
Thank you so much for your valuable videos. I want to ask that I got small update of 209mb . When I try to download it says SYSTEM UPDATE FAILED , your device is reverted to its original configuration. Please help how can I update
When you say to get rid of your modules do you mean uninstall or disable? Because I think I heard you say uninstall but I saw you disable the module instead.
Yes Magisk Manager will say 'disabled' but it works by actually uninstalling the module altogether (at least that is my understanding). Make sure to reboot to properly disable/uninstall :)
Guys I did everything as the guide said . My phone rebooted and was rooted and updated to latest 10.0.9. All went fine. But after I installed back my first module and rebooted. My phone has stayed at the spinning circles bootlogo for at least 15 minutes now. I am scared. What should I do? 7tp
Your guides are amazing. Subscribed to your channel very 1st time I saw your video. Neat, clean and very easy to understand tutorials. I have few question. Currently my phone is not rooted. OnePlus 7t. As we know rooting down grades to widewine L3. What if we just root the phone and relock the bootloader. We will retain the root? Will this set back widewine to L1 ? Can we install Netflix and Prime Video and or other streaming apps ? Looking forward for your reply.
Thanks for the support man! If you lock your bootloader with any modification (e.g. with root or TWRP) you will soft-brick your device and have to flash stock to recover it. So unfortunately there is no way to be rooted and to have a locked boooader at the same time. One 'solution' I have heard about is to use a modified Netflix app that allows HD streaming even when rooted
Thanks so much! Everything worked perfectly on my OP 7 Pro and now I've correctly installed Android 11 while keeping root. But after that, I'm having some trouble when I try to access to TWRP, since after pushing the combination of buttons, it appears for just 1 sec the initial screen of TWRP and it alternates with black screen, leaving me without any control on the phone. I need to go on fastboot mode and reboot from there to have access to the normal OS. Can you please help me? Thanks!

Keep up the great work. Anyways I have the OnePlus 7 not the pro or 7T just the 7 and I am rooted with TWRP and Magisk. I'm on OOS 10.3.3 thanks to this handy video and I'm wondering what the best method is for factory resetting my device? Not necessarily go back to stock and locked bootloader but just basically wipe device clean. I am currently having issues where some of my apps are acting buggy (today weather and my Uno game) they have been working fine but all of a sudden started acting up today and not sure why along with some other apps working but seeming to act a little off. In the settings of the application there's an option for both "full update" and "open beta full update". So if you're on the open beta I'd use the latter option.
