not happy with all the trees that were bulldozed for these projects. One of the unique characteristics of NB is the many many live oak and Pecan Trees that beautify our city. The increased traffic, especially large construction trucks is making traffic for residents ... a nightmare
New braunfels is not the same anymore, the city is overcrowded, traffic is bs and the schools are over capacity. They did not and are still not doing infrastructure first.
How will the constant water restrictions with the current population be addressed? How can you justify expanding SOOOO much? Do you think we can out grow our resources?!
You do your job really well I hope they put roads in to support all this maybe you can find out when they're going to fix for All height or highway 46 so us people can pull out and go to work within a reasonable time
NO NONONO NOOOOOOOO! Stop building up NB! We don’t want it to turn into SA or Austin! And we’re constantly in water restrictions every year, how will you correct that?!
Can you doa video about the impacts of new construction on utility prices. You know builders use a lot of water and we have water restrictions… I just wonder how it effects the citizens
@@256weknow builders apply for variances to complete construction including watering grass. NBU says we have three times the water we actually use in one year
We need a Whole Foods, Sprouts or Natural Grocers store. Having 1 natural grocery store in the whole town and no one to get more organic products without having to drive an hour away is no fun
I've wanted to move North out of the Texas valley. But I care for the opinions of the people. If moving to New Braunfels is a burden to them then I won't move there.
Always about the dollar with these amateur wannabe professionals. Nickeling and diming all the residents with charges here, there, everywhere. Driving long term residents out, and misleading all the new arrivals. Bad enough, annually, always in a stage 3-4 drought, so what is the plan when tens of thousands come in, and all the new businesses? God forbid create a sewer system or something. All this money, building, yet they wont build $100,000 of four additional tennis courts, being we only have four to begin with. I had visions of an indoor sporting complex and couldnt locate investors. No wonder. Look after your own residents, and make improvements for them first. Traffic---awful! No improvement with the roadway or opening up any. Good luck on attempting to becoming a mini Austin and to all the residents who will remain, and that come in. Have a blessed daaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay.
Awesome update Raad. Love all the information that you provide weekly. It would be great to see a Costco as an anchor near Veramendi and I love the location of Top Golf. Thanks.

city gov needs to stop approving new residential development and focus on infrastructure for the current residents.
And we wonder why the springs are dry.

I love these drone shots, y'all do a great job with this.
How does anyone get around NB with all this growth??? We miss NB so much but there is so much growth...AND traffic!
I live in Veramendi and I can get anywhere in about 10-12 minutes. City has done a good job of road design, at least West of I-35
New braunfels is not the same anymore, the city is overcrowded, traffic is bs and the schools are over capacity. They did not and are still not doing infrastructure first.
If you think NB is bad you should see Spring Branch. It is hell on earth. The builders have destroyed this area!!
@@BM-ql7jz that’s great but give it time. Thought the same for NB. I grew up in NB. I hope it stays that way for you. 😊
@@marthadrake1652 so sorry to read that!🥲
I moved here in 1977.
Barely recognize the place anymore.
Unfortunately all the growth is cannibalizing the quaint, small town near a bigger city feel that made New Braunfels interesting to begin with.
New Braunfels, the apartment and cheap housing capital of Texas!
That was sarcastic, right? I really hope you were being sarcastic. If not, you have no clue.

I love all you share!
Thank you
I just remember that area on the other side of Gruene flooding like crazy
What about Texas Roadhouse. Was supposed to be done this year
everything was supposed to be done this year. typically, permitting holds up everything
So excited! Can't wait to move away to a quaint and quiet spot in Texas with low taxes. Bet I'll get a ton of money for my property too.

We don’t need a Costco. We need big businesses to go away. There’s a Costco on the northern tip of San Antonio that is close enough.
What’s this veramendi I keep hearing I’m from new braunfels and never heard of that place
It’s off loop 337 and 46 west. Residential masterplanned community
I’ve been to Garcia’s I always thought of it as meh! Nothing too exciting for me.
Thanks for feedback

Excellent update Raad, cant wait for Costco or a Trader Joes 🙏
What we need is more people buying locally. There’s a farmers market every Saturday with a very high-quality products from local business people.

peace and quiet, you have all you need in Canyon Lake
We need more support for locally owned restaurants. We do not need any more chains.
How about an HEB near all the new subdivisions on 46 between Cbicken Express and I10.
@@JoeArmendariz-xt7hv HEB closed on land across from Legacy at Lake Dunlap right off 46
Please look at bringing a Trader Joe’s, Salad to Go drive thru, and Costco. If already in the works, can you share the expected dates? Thank you!!
Traders Joes has tight parameters. I believe you have to have minimum 250,000 people in a three mile radius. We don’t have that
We already have amazing business people with terrific products. We need to support them.
Need more affordable housing
Apartments or traditional homes?
He's Radd dude!
Can’t wait until Top Golf to open, so that I can practice my golf swing
