PS: even if your headset does to sleep after X amount of time it can reset your setting back to default when waking them up resulting in you having to go back into your audio settings and reactivate it as shown in this video.
This is exactly what I do for my kraken hypersense v3. I just put in movie (THX mode) I think is what it’s called and it’s incredible. It’s my main driver and then turtle beach is my secondary
The swarm software has been fine for me since the last firmware update. Even at 50% the atlas air is more than plenty loud and sounds fantastic with the presets. So glad I purchased it
On Atlus Air, if you want to boost the volume only, you can just add 4 db for every frequency on the swarm 2.0. It will keep the frequency response as the original, close to the Harman curve but louder.
This video was very helpful. Your videos on the Atlas Air were also very helpful. I compared over the last week several headsets, narrowed it down to two, Logitech G x2 Pro and the Turtle Beach Altas Air and after comparing all these headsets, I was surprised I ended up with the Atlas Air. I absolutely love it. It was by far the cleanest sound for the price, very immersive soundstage, by far the most comfortable which is critical to me, and even though it was my first open back headset, when you are playing something, nothing around me as far as outside noise is bothering me and even though sound leaks, its not so bad that it would disturb someone in another room. I got them for only $149, so thanks to your videos, I'll be a happy camper for quite a while, so thanks! I don't have any issues with the Volume. It is more than loud enough and so far, no issues with the Swarm software, even though I'm focusing on the Dolby Atmos app as you suggested.
Thank you Techne 👏🏿👏🏽👏🏻 We all appreciate the time, the research, the energy & that you share your knowledge with us. - I have TB 700 Gen 3s (I love em) - My Mac conked out & I don’t have computer access for a while. - My question is can I control Dolby Atmos settings from a phone app or Xbox Series X?
Ok I’m a little slow sometimes. I completely forgot we have a Dolby Atmos app on Xbox. Could you please post the eq settings for CoD Black Opps/ Warzone footsteps?
Love Dolby Atmos. Thanks for the video. My problem with the Atlas Air that I sent back was mainly software. I literally couldn't use swarm. It just always thought my headset needed an update no matter what and I could never make it past that screen to the actual config screen. Even when connecting to my phone it would just drop connection to the app while I was messing with settings a couple seconds after starting the app. It was very frustrating and disappointing because it felt really good on the head. Super light and comfy.
I just got my steelseres arctis nova 5. They are nice all around but they are not connecting to companion app on my android phone( it says connecting for so mutch time but it does not connect to the app) And second, the most important, i have crackling noice on 2.4ghz(its driving me crazy) and a little bit in bt. They are new and did not drop them or something. What shoul i do?
I just bought a Playstation 5 and don't know which headset I should buy. My dilemma is between SteelSeries Arctis nova 5p or razer kaira. I saw they both have some settings to tweak. can anyone help me for the better choice with good bass
Anyone know how to output 2 USB headphones at the same time (for two people to have audio) using DOLBY ATMOS pc? I am able to do it with sonar but can't figure out a solution with dolby atmos.
In my series X I use the Razer Kaira X wired headphones and i have the Dolby Atmos license, it sounds great, but i think i still prefer the Windows Sonic!
The worst for audio are Dolby Atmos and THX they destroy imaging by giving fake Soundstage. Also NEVER use in Windows anything else than 48.000 rate because some games have problems using anything higher.
@@cypherrbw1852 It depends by many things , if u really want to know then u have to tell me what headphone what dac amp and what use games or music or movies and what games ?

You just need to select movie mode in Dolby Atmos, for those who don't want to tinker too much. It is significantly louder, trust me.

Movie mode and which intelligent equalizer? or do I keep it "off"? I mostly play FPS though, is it good for such games?
I love my Atlas Air. Pro tip: disable ALL windows sound enchantments, the volume will be much better.

I love my Atlas air only headset I had my ears don’t get hot and so comfortable
This is maybe for immersive but nog comp game play where you want clinical positioning and separation.
You can use sonar and do the same if you don't get atmos for free

Are there any good Replacement ear cushions for the Turtle Beach Atlas Air?
Hey @techne should i use these on my nova 5x
The Techne, what are your thoughts on audiophile headphones for gaming?
I have the Nova Wireless Pro. Better to use Dolby app or Sonar?
Sonar is king IMO
I also like Sonar. I feel like it really makes the audio louder on all my headsets.
Hey just a question! Would you recommend the razer kaira or steelseries Arctis nova 5x? I play on Xbox
Woooo amazing video bro thanks 🎉

volume lever changed alot. recently got a new headset, and somethings were loud but others were quite quiet. the volume lever fixed it :p
You dont have to take your Mic Eq on default. Dolby Atmos is only for the Headphone not for the Mic :D

I do remember that you don’t like this softwares and now you recommend to use it, ok. DTS headphone x is free if you have Logitech headset btw.

Easy fix for the TB Atlas Air. Do not use the TB software..The software makes the headset quiet.
Cant use dolby but good my kingston cloud sound good anyway
Morning!
Hi i have the turtlebeach gen3 for PS5 would this work for theses as well and how do i do it could you please explain thanks
If you have the Dolby Atmos App for the Ps5 you just need to adjust the Eq for the way you like.
