In the days of the Old Kingdom, the Nile Valley was actually a fertile lush tropical landscape with swamps. The whole area was humid AF. The heat that ancient Egyptians had to deal with wasn’t just dry heat. It’s also the reason why crocodiles, hippos, mosquitos, flies, and malaria were such big problems back then.
Indeed. Which is also how the culture flowed downwards creating the Kush, Sai and Kemet kingdom and more. Alluding the phenotypes of the people in Kemet mind you.
Sadly because people still believe Kush to be a bad imitation of Kemet. It doesn’t help also that the Egyptian goverment flooded Qustul. Hopefully channels like Hometeamhistory & myself can reattach Kemet back to Africa through history videos.
If the ancient Egyptians orientated themselves towards the highlands of the Nile. Highlands such as Ethiopia, Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda and Black people live there. Wouldn’t it make sense that the ancient Egyptians were Black also?!
I hate it when you say it originates in Ethiopia and Kenya, Kenya!! there is no branch of the river in Kenya and in Ethiopia it just branches off creating another river called the Blue Nile, the true source of the Nile is in Uganda's Lake Albert where the river clearly starts you can also say it originates in Northern Lake Victoria in Uganda and then forms Lake Kyoga then it pours into Lake Albert and from then on its the River Nile, so it doesn't originate from Burundi, Congo, Kenya or Ethiopia like people say, that is a big misconception.
Why they playing middle eastern Persian music ?? And who are these people in the pictures??? Back doing the time of the pharaohs and pyramids this what they looked like ....? This what the statutes look like with them noses cut off ?
I heard Ancient Egypt was once a beautiful and luscious paradise, until erosion, weathering and father time took over.
Just Some Guy without a Mustache long before ancient Egyptians civilization. About 1000 years before civilization began there

Why no mention or no videos of Nubia and the Nubian Civilisation? Kush Civilisation! One of, if not, the first civilisations in earth.
Sadly because people still believe Kush to be a bad imitation of Kemet.

Actually 85% of the Nile flows downstream from the Blue Nile in Ethiopia.

It’s due to popular media programming. That’s why we focused on the Nile river in our video about King Narmer/Menes.
