This is one of the most beautiful things I've ever seen. I took an edible an hour ago. I found this by chance and feel totally transported to Ancient Egypt.
No camels, in reality Egyptian cities were almost entirely along the nile, not in the desert areas, and it would have been much more lush and green, as the flooding of water and rich silt irrigated and fertilised the soil every year. Also they painted the statues, walls and reliefs bright, bright pigments. This all looks a bit dull and crumbling, Egypt as we know it today, not as it was then.
@Schnitzel I wondered, and that is hardly the period I would choose to portray as typically Ancient Egyptian. That was the last gasp of Ancient Egypt, when much of its ancient monuments by all (even those fairly unbiased) accounts of the time admitted they were crumbling from age and weathering. I would have chosen an early period, and shown more of what city life looked like. Of when the capital was Thebes in the south.
So amazing! I can totally picture the temple for Sobek coming alive in this fashion. It would be really amazing to see a similar rendition for the Aztec capital of Tenochtitlan. For me, one of the most amazing looking cities ever created by humankind with its monumental architecture, canals, palaces, floating gardens and floating farms, bustling markets, incredible sculptures and vibrant colours.
If I could go back in a time machine I’d wanna see ancient Egypt in its hey day when the pyramids were all done and beautifully glistened in the distance with beautiful white limestone and gold at the top, Egypt is still a sight to behold now imagine it when they were one of the most powerful society with beautiful statues architecture everywhere, must have been amazing

Blame the dark ages & catholic rule for the "man over women" concept... Ancient rome & egypt both had relatively equal rights for women & men... Many of our modern masc and fem concepts would scare them! Women could get divorced, own land and inherit from her mom or dad... When "Christianity" swept across europe, they set their royalty up on middle eastern Judaic/arabic concepts like man over women... These are the same middle easterners who perfected the art of slavery...
White Alliance I always hear these atheist pushing historical anti Christian revisionist like this. Ancient Egypt and Rome were brutal patriarchal societies and both practiced horrific forms of slavery as almost every human culture they had ever existed did. Stop passing off your wishful thinking as fact.
White Alliance I mean you seriously never heard of Spartacus or the freakin gladiators? You never heard of how the Pyramids were built? This is all such common knowledge that it seems like you’re intentionally spreading disinformation
@@vinnie9458 it's funny you say "common knowledge" but actually gladiators were often treat as prized possessions and celebrities. Not bearly as many were fought to the death as you'd think. A lot of them were showmen, were paid huge wages and were adored by the public and set free. Often they'd fight with blunt instruments and be instructed not to kill each other. In fact, before Rome became Roman Catholic Christians there were actually LESS executions because there were less laws. Also with the bibles role in defending slavery it actually became much more widely practiced AFTER mass conversions, gladiators were also killed more often because "God" condoned it, or they were "sinners". Hollywood has unfortunately painted a very one-sided picture. Also the pyramids were NOT built by slaves. This is one of the most common historical misconceptions, entire workers camps were found and excavated around several pyramids and from that they were able to discover the workers were actually paid a great wage, finding coins, pots, items that belonged to them, jewellery- as well as being given full board (a place to live) and finding bakeries/bread makers and breweries on site. For many years the idea that slaves built the pyramids has been disbanded as not only whole heartedly inaccurate but also pretty impossible. Just as when the Imperial Japanese soldiers had trouble with infrastructure built by Brits/Australian prisoners/slaves in the 1940's- slave labour doesn't actually produce excellent engineering and craftsmanship. You see, im a solicitor but no matter how hard you may abuse me I won't suddenly know how to build a quality super car. The people who worked on the pyramids were often master engineers that were shipped in from far and wide- as far as we can tell it was a great honour to work on the pyramids. It's interesting that you chose these two examples without research just because they're wide spread fallacies. It's also a common trait of people that carry the "God" gene. Your insinuation that women were better under Christianity is absolutely terrifying. In my country we were ruled by the norse people and under them had equal voting rights, impartial courts, "ethical" taxes, humane rules for prisoners, equal inheritance, snap elections, a value on science, value on actual medicine, no woman was valued by her virginity and had the right to execute a rapist, they also had free "classes" sp they could all read and write and the modern day equivalent of food stamps. Christians and Christian invaders took all this away and executed those who refused to convert. I think there is a bit of validity in criticising any religion. You got very defensive very quickly though and seemed to want to take it down this exact route, i wonder why 🤔
Helena yaya Slaves lived short horrible life’s in the Greco-Roman world. I’m not denying the Christian Europe didn’t have its own problems but I always hear ridiculous statements like his implying the pre Christian Pagan Europe was this great place and then everything went downhill after the fall of paganism. It was full of violence, war and genocide and was patriarchal. His assertion that middle eastern people perfected slavery is absurd and Roman women weren’t even allowed to vote. The idea of equal rights for women didn’t exist. Ya the Vikings were progressive in women’s rights for their time but you’re going by a low standard if you’re using the standard of that day. It was still a male dominated society. And people were forced to fight to the death and fed to starving animals among other things in the Roman Colosseum. It was horrific no matter how you cut it And gladiatorial combat was BANNED after Christianity became the religion. Again, stop pushing historical revisionism as fact.

I believe camels were known in Egypt from early dynastic times. Apparently Persian and Macedonian invaders brought them in on a larger scale, too.

WoW better than any movie I have ever seen, captures the Era of Egyptian history in a magical way 💕
Sometimes I wish I could travel back in time but then I’m like... wait, I’m a woman, this is NOT a good idea
It was horrific no matter how you cut it
And gladiatorial combat was BANNED after Christianity became the religion. Again, stop pushing historical revisionism as fact.
I wish ancient Egypt was still alive.

@@montumeroe9593 Nothing to do with that guys comment but fair enough. To chime in, if there were life with technology that advanced, they'd be just as curious about us as we them. Also we'd kill them? If they have the technology for galactic travel, we'd stand absolutely no chance against them. Could try nuking them since that's the most powerful weaponry we have but they'd shoot that crap in our own atmosphere and then proceed to invade us with technology and weapons we couldn't even dream of for pure revenge. Also, they wouldn't follow the Geneva Conventions because they are our laws, not theirs so chemical warfare, attacking civilians, taking slaves, blowing up hospitals, taking out trade routes, starving nations.. All of that would be effective against us and there's absolutely no stopping anything other than ourselves doing those things. We'd be nothing compared to them, much like a lion fighting a mouse. You think we're strong enough to fight a race who have mastered travelling the stars? We can't even fight among ourselves effectively. Some details: children went naked frequently until puberty, farmers and fishers wore only loincloths or kilts or even went naked as did slaves. Both men and women in early times went topless. They did not use head coverings. There were no camels then. You need to show more details, but thanks for your efforts. I don't know if you felt constrained about nudity on TH-cam, which is prudish, in the American style (I'm American, so it's not a swipe at US, just at prudishness).
Not really in later Egypt, due to Greek and Roman influence. I think this is Ptolemaic Egypt. But it could be New Kingdom. The video isn’t clear.
@Michelle I guess you're searching for them voluntarily that's why you find them. Also, don't search porn on TH-cam man, you're better than that!
@Gebrael93 I can tell by your style of writing that you can't be highly educated. Naked 'ppl' can be found in a lot of Egyptian murals. That's for you to spend some time, bro, doing years of historical research, lol.
@3MM4 P33L please don't make excuses for ur own inadequacies
these are cinematics from a video game, he didn’t make it
it's always beautiful until Phylakes run into you 😂
It`s amazing that such great civilization had already existed even several thousand years before Christ. I cannot resist a strong sense of awe for our ancestor. I should not forget that our wealthy and happy life is based upon the great achievement which our ancestor made.
Are you from Africa bro or sis ?
@@truthtruth5514 No, I`m an Asian.
No disrespect but the Egyptians were black not asian so how are they your ancestors...?
Egyptians were not black what a bullshit
@@truthtruth5514Civilizations are a heritage for all humanity. I am from Egypt. We are all humans. We are all from Earth. Please, stop the discrimination against your fellow humans.
This isn't just a game. It's art :o
This is amazing I’ve always wondered if I I could ever just go back in time and live a life here because ever since I was little like age 6 I’ve been fascinated and fell in love with ancient Egypt of how civilized it was and the whole mummy thing too ... lol and I still have an obsession to learn more and more about it I’d always read audio books about it and magazine and fun facts and I’d share them with random people too
This is the closest to seeing it back in time, which I would love to do! I still struggle contemplating how they built such wonders
I just returned from Egypt, and this reconstruction feels pretty accurate - though perhaps it's a bit too orange?
Egypt is so old that is was an antagonist in the Old Testament
and jesus apparently lived there for part of his life as well. although when he was alive, it was already considered ancient.
Old Testament's writers hated their neighbors.
@@eurech they were probably jealouse of them egyptians cos those bible writers were poor and only farming..
@@ArtofLunatik So u telling me Egypt didn't exist when Jesus was alive ?
@@_lee2123_ lol no. What im saying is Egypt in Jesus’s time (if he was a real person) had ruins and old pyramids that were already considered ancient even by the egyptians in that time period. Comprende?
You almost made me cry!!! So good. I wonder why this vid has this much low likes... This is such a masterpiece!!!!
This is from a game.......you can see it..is "Assasins creed origins"
@@carlosdemiguel9132 Oh I know that game.... Damn... I thought he made it.
@seamo9000deBuilder SUPERBEING what? 🤣🤣 Okay... I'll give ye like...
@@zev_walker Yeah it been out since 2017
@@erenjaeger1738 I see...
GLORIOUS
Thank you.
It’s trips me out how long humans have been around
In one way a very long time and then really we are just a blink in time
it trips me knowing imma be ancient one day
would love to see ancient empires throughout more of the world!
Egypt structures then: The great pyramids of Giza
Now: Another McDonald’s
Well, what can I say - no empire on this earth is or ever has been eternal. Sooner or later, even the greatest empires fall, whether through actual destruction or by losing their "empire" status.
this looks far more epic than the architecture we have today.
it seems like countries in our time are concerned with other matters than to build impressive monuments and palaces
This is just what i was looking for! Great video
Sometimes I wish I don't live in the modern time period but instead in the ancient egypt so I could experience how it was back then. The desert, the pyramids, those temples and all of that. Truly beautiful!
The body odor, no modern toilets or showers. Yeah, I don't think you'd like it.
Unless you are one of those slaves they used for construction.
you should be the upper class society to enjoy all easiness of life back then... don't forget that you still have to pay attention to the political atmosphere back then like the impending invasions, etc
The unhygienic conditions,severe heat,social inequality,diseases r undoubtedly beautiful
Truly. Although living in those times would their own disadvantages but still it would be beautiful.
I’m more fascinated that people existed 4500 years ago let alone built pyramids ..
just the fact that people were alive with societies and religions is giving me existential nostalgia.
One day 5000 years from now we will be included as an ancient civilisation
I mean seriously.. where the hell are we and what is the meaning of it all??
🤔..
👏👏👏
If you want to learn more pick up a quaran
5,000 years from now there will only be cockroaches.
That's a question that only god can answer, science answers the 'how' but religion answers the 'why'
I recommend islam as it made the most sense to me, dont listen to media look it up yourself and judge.
@@batssama yes islam was a very diffused religion in ancient egypt 5000 years ago
Just out there in the BC times with his DJI drone getting mad footage and creating new gods for them to worship. Good times.
