Holy shit, imagine the direction slipknot would have went in if Josh didn't leave before the self titled tour. Him and Corey just work off each other so well, both ferocious vocalists, and more importantly, someone who could actually sing with Corey rather than just scream. Look at Despise to back this up
Etward he has been in and out of unsuccessful des moins bands for years since leaving Slipknot. In an interview in 2003, he stated that he owned a club (not sure if he still owns it now since he sorta dropped off the face of the earth) and the last notable band he was in was On A Pale Horse that seems to have disbanded as of 2012... my guess is he’s still playing around in smaller bands in the des moins scene.

Despise is so groove driven. I love Purity as one of my favourite Slipknot tracks, but I wouldn't have been disappointed if Despise had stayed as it was. It's always interesting to me to think what if Josh stayed. Great cleans, and he effectively was part of writing and recording what is, in my opinion, the greatest album ever written. Iowa was amazing as well, but it really is engrained into my brain to wonder about Josh.
