as a member of the marching band (color guard) I have to say it was EXTREMELY satisfying to see that perfect catch at 2:23 , and the perfectly synced up headbanging at 10:05
@@LightYagamiVSL color guard has to do lots of work involving flag twirling, sabre tossing, riffle spins, etc, and usually have to catch their toss on beat with the music (some tosses being extremely high in the air, and rapidly spinning too)
I was at this show, it was unreal. Hands down best show I've ever seen. Seeing them play prosthetics was the highlight I think. But it's kind of weird seeing the show from this angle, totally different experience.
I'll never forget this, I helped Sid when Mayhem Fest came to Kansas City. I passed out flyer's for his DJ Starscream show that afternoon. He ended up with a lot of things he had to take care of and barely made it for Slipknot's set that evening. Everyone was like WTF? What about the show that was supposed to be earlier today?! I explained everything in the fanclub's website. I got to visit him afterwards and he was in a wheelchair, poor guy💜

I've broken ribs in the past and had to simply strap them and I literally felt every second of that injury for weeks. These guys just loved getting involved and you never knew who was landing on you next. Brilliant band. Have to say RIP to Paul as well. Corey can work magic on acoustics or simply thrash metal. Its a talent thats haunted by tragedy though.
Same I broke 3 ribs doing a stunt for an acting role (being thrown down a flight of stairs for a student film and someone forgot the crash mat I was ment to land on off camera so I had a hard landing on a wooden floor broke 3 ribs on the 3rd take carried on requesting another 17 takes cause I wasn't satisfied with how it looked despite the pain stayed in character and kept going was finally satisfied with that scene on the 20th take overall (even with doing that same stunt 17 times with broken ribs against the directors advice I told him I'm not going to slow him down working on the project and carry the fuck on straight to his face still to this day one of the best directors I ever worked with and a good friend)
