He is very cool! Seraphon and contrasts go so so well together because of all of the texture, and you can always layer more paint on over for certain details!
@Mediocre Hobbies please consider those little skink rider (I think that's the name) dudes as their mounts have a different style of colouring....plus you just know you wnat to do that fat toad guy on a throne!
Really brilliant...again I now want to start an army, not because I intrinsically like it, but because I now want to paint it and believe I can do it well and quickly! I think you should do a quickfire video like the tyranid one where you show several versions of scales and several versions of saurus skin tones etc...that way it saves you some time but people can mix and match etc. Superb content.
Ooo I do like that idea a lot! I know Vincent knotley put together a few different schemes so check out his stuff as well! That’s awesome to hear this gave you confidence! Any time you think you might mess something up, remember it’s only paint, and you can just go right back over it again! You got this!
Absolutely stunning mate 🤘 I can't wait to get my hands on all the Aggradon guys. Promised my son I'll paint them up like Owen's raptors from Jurassic World
Can you do a full tutorial on how you prime, I know you have a short video, but could you do a full detailed one showing examples of different types or sizes of models or even buildings?
@@MediocreHobbies By the way Love your work, and love how you interact with your community. Keep it up! you are one of the only channels I look up daily to see what new videos you have posted. your painting videos are relaxing and easy to follow along. Thank you for all that you do!
This scheme is based off the box art, and also many many years of recognising paints from photos, if I were to make up my own scheme it would take me just as long as you don’t worry!
Your brush should not be bone dry. You should check out the channel artis opus and watch his how to drybrush videos. He is the king. And I use his brushes a lot. You should check them out.
Opinion: It looked clean AF with the rich saturated colors providing the depth... and then the white dry brush and highlights utterly ruined it. :c It turned from natural contrast of colors to artificial contrast shading/highlighting that just looks washed out by comparison. I am perplexed by how many model painters do this. With all that said, this is still one of the better Seraphon models I've seen, and I think you did a good job.
I love this guy and can’t wait to get him for my lizards. I might even stick to contrasts like you did
He is very cool! Seraphon and contrasts go so so well together because of all of the texture, and you can always layer more paint on over for certain details!
Yes I have just got some new kroxigor and it is the first-time I have used contrast paint and dry brushing

Hahaha there’s always an ugly stage, you just gotta stick with it!
These new lizardmen are gorgeous. Retributor Armour might be my favourite paint colour haha

That is for sure on the list. I believe it’s the new salamander first then then. So a few weeks still.
@@MediocreHobbies ok sick thanks
amazing
Appreciate it, thank you!
Is there a way to do drybrushing and not have it look powdery after? Mine usually does but yours doesnt seem as bad

epic vid!!
Thanks so much!!
What size base is that? Can't tell difference in scale to old cold one riders
For sure a size up from those bases. There same as the stormcast cavalry.
Man these are cool but the croxigor are definitely cooler
I will be doing them soon don’t worry.
Yes!!!!! 🎉🎉

Always pick and choose from tutorials with what you want to do for your own models, we all have our own style and preferences! Cheers for watching!
That gold is shony af, my retributor armor never looka as good as yours.
Hmmmm maybe you have a bad one. Bad mix maybe.
