Welcome to a rare part 2 of a painting tutorial for me! Thanks to @officialwarhammer I got my hands on the new Seraphon army box and immediately started on the new Slaan Star Master. While absolutely loaded with incredible details, this model is not as complicated as it looks, but it does take some extra time, so I decided to spilt the tutorial into two parts. I will be covering other parts of the box set as well so make sure you're subscribed for those videos as well!

Brown texture paste from AK drybrushed with orange and then with bone.
I quite like the extra highlight with Dawnstone, really makes the model pop.

Really wonderful! In terms of the stone, thank you for highlighting it for us, but having seen both, I do not think I would highlight my own now, I preferred the unhighlighted 'aged' look, but clearly, this is individual preference, and I'm grateful you did both for us!

I wasn't sure which of the two stone stages I preferred, they both have their strengths. I don't think it mattered that much because when it was all finished with the big magic frog on it, it looked amazing.

Cheers pal. Just some texture paste a few drybrushes and some tuffs.
Well as myself I would have left it after the wash because it did look like aged stone but thats just me .

I do aim to, trying to figure out how to squeeze them all in before new40k takes over! They’re such beautiful models, I really want to get them painted up soon!
It’s kinda sad you have to chose between the flying snake or four points of contact for the Slann.
It’s so so sturdy like this. Like no wobble. It’s very strong.

AK texture paint brown drybrushed orange and then drybrushed bone.
