That Pallid Wytch drybrush on the forearm in particular was amazing. Such a tremendous change for minimal work.
Yep it’s a very sneaky trick lol. Fight smart not hard.
I like the paintjob 100%
Thanks so much!
Im thinking of playing this faction for its easy painting for the points. 1 giant seems like a ton of what you would normally be painting on another army. Also.. giants is just cool
Giants are very very cool.
King Brodd is such a cool figure, what I also like is that the techniques can be scaled down for normal sized units skin painting tutorial and gargant painting tutorial all in one lol
Great video as always Andy :)
Yes exactly! Only difference is the amount of skin 😄 Glad you enjoyed the video, cheers for the comment!
It looks excellent!
Thanks so much! 🙌
Hope to see an army showcase!
That’s a great idea!
That tree looks more like a birch. We have a bunch of them around where I live, 2 right here in our backyard, very nice looking tree. Don't know if there are different kinds of ash trees but the type of ash we have here in Sweden are more a beige brown with maybe a bit of green kind of color, can look a bit greyish, and has ticker and nobblier (is that the right word?) bark while birch is way smoother and has that classic white bark with black spots and stripes on it :)
speaking of the red leather and dry brush highlight. I have a really sweet guide from a Vallejo paint kit. it makes very believable leather fairly quickly. I can share it if you want :)
I’d love to hear it. I can’t wait to break into the Vallejo paint range. It’s been a long time coming.
I never see paint this easy and same time this quality you are fukcing good and thanks you for that i have 4 gargant and 6 « little » to paint this army is so beautifull
Ah cheers man, glad to hear I could help that much! Appreciate you letting me know!
Stunning work as always
Thanks pal
Amazing tutorial! I'm a huge fan of yours, you have been a huge help in getting my models painted!
Aw that’s so nice to hear! Thanks so much for the support and for making my day with that comment!
looks amazing!
Thanks so much!
Looks absolutely great man. Drybrush worked a treat.
Thanks pal.
No way King Brodd this is incredible! Never painted anything even remotely that big. Great video brother.
Cheers man! Yeah it’s pretty much the same as a normal model, just takes way longer because of surface area 😄
Looks awesome
Cheers
amazing paint job keep up the good work !
Thanks so much, really appreciate that!
That is stunning looking! Very very well done! Big fan of your content,
Cheers, that’s really nice to hear! Thanks for watching and for the lovely comment!
I would say more of a birch tree 😊
Thanks pal.
Lovely job turned out great...Nice one.👍
Cheers. Appreciate it.
Great result! Will give the scheme a go. Thanks Andy 👍🏼
Awesome to hear that! Hope it turns out well, if you have any questions, let me know!
Sweet mini!!! Well done!! 👏👏
Thanks so much, always appreciate your comments!
That drybrush really did the trick.
Crazy how it works all over it! Thanks man, appreciate it!
Looks awesome. Love the overall effect after the dry brush. Makes me want one, though I have no actual use for the model.
They’re definitely an awesome display piece even if they never see a table! Thanks so much, appreciate that!
beautiful. def one of the more unique armies. looks so fun
It is for sure very unique. A lot of fun to play.
Would you ever do a video on the older Mancrusher gargant minis? I'm having a super hard time painting them up nicely
I would indeed but I’m not sure what you could learn form that that you didn’t get from this video.
Top video mate. Four models for an army? I’m sold.
Birch trees have the silver bark btw. 😊👍
Haha yeah it’s tempting right?! Yeah I knew I wasn’t going crazy! Cheers for the comment!
Thanks !!! a beautiful figure that makes you want to paint. beautiful quality of painting simple fast and efficient well done 🇨🇵🇨🇵
Thank you so much.
Awesome, I don’t care for AoS myself, but that’s a fantastic model and a fantastic paint job
Thanks so much man, yeah it’s a crazy cool model!
Looks amazing pal want to paint mine hahahaha 😆
Hahaha nice try.
@@MediocreHobbies they say god loves a tryer hahahha🤣
@@majorchronic81 hahahaha for sure.
Physically I can't pass by and not put a Like for Warhammer Age of Sigmar great job!
P.S: It is an eternal sadness that no one told me 15-20 years ago that it would be possible to assemble an entire Giant Army on round bases. That would be my main force definitely!
Yep they look so good on round bases. And thank you for the like.
Really like the result and your style of painting in General. The Fur might look a bit too light and the red leather a little too chalky. You could give a thinned glaze with agrax on the fur and maybe flesh tairers red again on the leather to bringt them back a little.
Two great ideas. I kind of like the fur as is. But yes the red could do with a bit more work.
DId you use Grey Seer Spray or Base Paint for the primer?
Spray.
It's Birch
Thank you.
Any chance you could elaborate on the zenithal?
I made this short to explain how zenithal works but if you have any questions after watching, please let me know!
th-cam.com/video/51Hx1uTmtSw/w-d-xo.html
@@MediocreHobbies thanks for replying! so I'd keep the angle but spin the giant around? I can't help but think they'll be lots of black left
Praying for an answer a year later but would this light drybrush work across other colours other then red?
I’d do a test piece on an area that might not get looked at as much but I say go for it, it’s pretty versatile!
Do you think this would look good on grey seer primer? Instead of zenithal? I always struggle with zenithal… to
It does work better with the black first. But I’m sure it will work.
I believed you when you said you didn't need to sub assembly this dude. I feel betrayed 😅
Are you having trouble with him? The way I see it, if it’s hard to get a brush in, it’s probably hard to see as well.
@MediocreHobbies that makes sense to me but there is a lot of places on the model that would be visible but trying to get around the million other details on him to hit them and not touch other bits is a nightmare. I'm nearly through the basecoats but I think I've spent double the time I would have due to constantly going back and forth repainting mistakes from trying to work around stuff! I'll get there though I'm sure.
Great job, but I think the face needed additional attention.
I get that, I was happy with how it looked but I know other people would spend more time in certain parts! Thanks for the comment!
