I completely understand. I got depressed off and on the first year, but now I just make it a point to take each day as it comes and not worry about the future. I've been much happier since changing my perspective on life. Best wishes!

I've never felt like I've wanted to feel sorry for myself.. having a military mind set probably helps.. stubborn and positive.. people around me are amazed how I'm coping but I feel it's here to stay and will not allow it to take me to any state of depression I was in before I clinically had the diagnosis.. slight frustration is more my line.. I will not allow it to break me down as who I am though..
    Appreciate your video's Carl..

I haven’t felt grief at all actually. I never knew what the future held before the disease and it’s the same now. But it is a decision to make. I have decided to use my disease as a tool to learn my children about how to face adversity constructively and with dignity. Good luck to all those who need it, we can all live beautiful lives even with this serious condition 🫶🏻

That’s great! It’s different for us all but most grieve in some way. It’s helpful to know where those feelings come from when they do. It all are as resilient as someone like you might be 🙏🏻

@@youngonsetparkinsons If anything has caused grief it is the fight with the healthcare system. It’s a tough one, I’m sure you can relate. Years… maybe I will feel grief about the disease at some point, we’ll see. Que sera sera, whatever will be will be. Love to all of you who are going through the process ❤️
