@Oxhorn - You missed a detail in the Overseer's House. In her house she has her Vault Tec diploma hung in her trophy room and if you go to her parents' house in Sutton the diploma is missing from its original location showing that she had taken it from her old home. Just a nice little detail.
@Default, Bethesda's was just the publisher they didnt make the game they out sourced it like they did with New Vegas.

@@zydg7787 Well, I saw the diploma in the Overseer's house and thought "That's a nice touch but what about the one in her parent's house?" and so I wanted to see if Bethesda thought of that and unlike the [insert eye-rollingly witty remark about thing thats not good in Fallout 76] they did think of it.

You know, I always feel, when watching these lore vids, like I'm at my C.A.M.P., sitting on my lounge chair, Nuka-Cherry on one hand, Snack Cakes in the other, just enjoying some good 'ol entertainment on the TV.(or my phone in this instance)
My idea for them next year is reduce the scorched too a handful of out of the way locals. And maybe replace them with a horde of ghouls from the neighbouring major metropolis.
Yeah, so it makes us feel like we actually made progress killing the scorched.

You should be in a fallout game, after all your comprehensive vids in the fallout universe, and for a long time now.
In my head i think like a brotherhood elder scribe or philosopher, maybe a ghoul who was alive before the bombs fell (clearly a professor or historian)

One thing always bothered me in Fallout. Who boarded up all the houses and why? Theory?
I personally think they were boarded up by survivors of the blast. The houses that you cant enter at all give me the vibe that whomever did it, did it in hope of surviving the fall out but ultimately didnt

Honestly, I would want a TV in my post-apocalypse home too. Even if I never turn it on, it would help maintain some sense of normalcy. Just a little.

I hecking love the Overseer and I'm so glad she's back. I just wish we had more quests to do with her, or even more dialogue in general... maybe even a romance option. I got so attached to her just by listening to her holotapes and I was genuinely worried about her after that last one.

Over the years I loved Oxhorn's TH-cam Material, but when I hear the voice I still think about "Hat the Singing Turtle" from the old WoW movies... I just can't help it!
I like Paige, he wasn't grown up in a Vault, and yet he knows the basics of building a strong ... foundation.
Makes me think he was either a construction contractor or a plumbing contractor at one point.

I just had a random thought, Fallout 76 Scorched, and Fallout New Vegas Spore carriers, are they almost the same thing in a sense?
No. The Scorched and the vault that made the Spore Carriers aren’t the same thing.

Spore carriers aren't a hive mind like the Scorched and they barely even resemble humans after being infected but they do both take people's minds

Honestly, Oxhorn, your an amazing guy, I been watching your stuff for about a year now and I really like that you don't just shove stuff like ''CLICK SUBSCRIBE IN THE FIRST 5 SECONDS OR THIS SPIDER WILL CRAWL INTO YOUR MOUTH TONIGHT,'' Your videos are high quality and in general, your channel is amazing, I hope you succeed and grow more and more.
As there was a small mention about the mole miners at the start of this video, I do wish to mention my beliefs in what they are and how they work as creatures,
Firstly, I believe that the mole miners are miners who have been trapped in multiple cave-ins during the automated antics of the mining companies, maybe a major around of them have been stuck down there as a result of the rock hounds acts and weight collapsing most of the mines at the base of the mountain.
Their motives may be that due to staying years underground and constantly moving by digging, I think think that they do not understand that the bombs have fell and only see normal people as operatives of the mining companies as they have yet to understand that the mining riots haven’t gone on in decades (as many may have been part of those riots.
There suits seem to be a form of compressive exo-skeleton wrapped in a cloth jacket and attached to a gas mask, from what we know, these suits are decayed and warn down through age and use, making it so they tighten their flesh and hold in broken bones while limiting speech to nonsensical screams and growls as to focus on breathing, possibly giving the mole miners their own language due to this disability, such as screaming “NO!” Upon death as the compressive parts break and the skull and face pop flesh violently out of the upper half of their head (as seen upon death)
Their biology seems to be nearly completely necrotic, as if you were to zoom in on their face you would find two eyes in weird positions poking out of the facial cloth they use that are rotting black, which may suggest that they are near(if not) completely blind, so the only good weapons they have are close range weapons and wide range, as it would be easier for them to sense someone up close and easier to hit them at a wide range, furthermore it seems that their stance is a result of untreated injuries and diseases such as trench foot, as they use wide boots and walk hunchback as a result of the heavy metal moving their skeletal structure in a way we would not want. Also, they may only use the weapons they due because their bloated fingers may not be able to properly fit into the trigger of other guns due to their gloves being filled with rotting flesh.
A theory I have as to the origin of them is the Garaham company, as they are the most human-centred of all the mining companies and may have used these suits in their prime condition in order to assist any workers left of the company after the contest, which would make sense as there are no known members of Garaham left alive in human form after the bombs, and the only people we know of who put humans first in mining is that company, showing how (though deteriorating) it is able to last longer then an auto-miner without any known repairs (though of course some may have been bought cheap or stolen before the bombs by laid off miners) but due to there being near to no skin contact, it was one of the only ways for a human to survive the scorch plague.
They will go extinct though as the suits are no longer manufactured and there is not enough background radiation and cave-ins + anger left to create the mole miners, which may explain how the purveyor is non-hostile, as she may be someone who put a suit on after the bombs and did not have enough radiation in order to fuel her hate to a maddening level.
When the theme song starts I cant help but dance a little. Ox just has the voice that gets your feet tappin

I've always wondered why the Overseer and Davenport want you to collect intel on The Crater and Foundation. I feel that there is way more to it than what they say. Like they are reporting it back to Vault Tech or something. It just seems odd for Vault Tech to care about the well being of the people. The Overseer unknowingly carrying out another Vault Tech experiment.
Given the Overseer's... lack of stock, shall we say, in Vault-tec, I find this implausible. Most likely, she is acting as a free agent, still an "Overseer" per se trying to look after her own and the state of West Virginia as it is rebuilt.
@@VeraTheTabbynx i’m sorry you give her way too much credit. This woman is a monster. She knew what Vault Tech was doing and was just grateful she got a control vault. She abandoned her fiancé to die. I seriously don’t understand how people think anything positive of her.

The amazing voice work of the overseer is what kept me playing, I remember getting really worked up when I heard the last Holo tape, a great character.

I always have a feeling of the vault 76 vault dwellers made a minutemen group because both groups are related to independent. So is the enclave and they were also in a vault but working for the United state government.

The voice acting for the overseer is amazing
She should be, she's been an actor since the 60's and starred in some of the greatest "end of days" movies of the 20th century.
The Overseer is maybe the only example of genuinely good voice acting in Fallout. She's one of the best characters in the whole series.
Can't wait to watch oxhorns videos on the next story based fallout game.

I don't generally play evil characters, but that right there almost earned him a bullet in the head. I get it, he doesn't know your character from Adam/Eve. If he did, I would like to think that he wouldn't be so snarky to someone who has lived in Appalachia and cleaned much of it up all by themselves. That is the kind of person you want on your side. Not against you.
