Always enjoyed the nuka cola lore vids, it's funny/sad to see the lengths the nuka cola company went to stay successful.
kafele jackson estes Same as RL companies really. A lot of these stories are familiar to cola fans, just adapted to Fallout. Coke did many of this, though I don't think they ever used Radium (the most common consumer radioactive material) in their products like make-up companies did.

The scorch beast queen came out of the depths of hell and when the players notice that she did, she started to attack the players there, and was successful on doing it,every player was downed and dying from the queen, other scorched creatures,and the radiation.
All hope was lost until the man himself,the man who lunched the nuke, LeBron James came out of the ashes. In a flash he revived every one and got rid of there rads,the players proceed on attacking the other scorched.
LeBron James however,
Through the fights around him he ran though the warfare and to the queen who was about to land.
When he got close enough he proceeded to take his glass of something unusual, it was a new type of glass and label. After he proceeded to beat the queen with the glass and said at the end."Want a nuka-cranberry?".
After all that he ripped out the heart of the spawn and squeeze a unknown liquid in the glass that he killed the queen with.
And left on the floor and disappeared.
One of the players tasted the liquid unknowingly where it came from after the hard fought battle from the other scorch.
"It tastes like cranberry." that's when the seen the lable

Those future year the players tried to perfectly recreate the soda from the gods and failed. They had come close,but still it wasn't close enough. One theory suggest you need to be in the presence of Leboron James to make it perfectly.
The ones you find in the world of Fallout 76 were just recreations that failed.
Although all hope was lost until they noticed something on the original label.
"Don't worry I'll come back."
So as our story ends I have but one I Question.

Ox, there's something I really want / need to say to you - I've been subscribed to you for such a long time, ever since you had only a few hundred-thousand subs, back when you were doing playthroughs of Metro 2033 and Last Light. I'd tune in every week for Scotch and Smoke Rings, sitting there with some tea and tagging along with the rest of the world for a guaranteed good show. All in all, you have been my go-to TH-camr since those days when I was in college. What I wanted to say to you is that you brought me so much entertainment and rekindled my love of Fallout and Metro when I was in such a dark place. I often smiled when I watched your content, which was a rarity for me in real life at the time. I'm still on the low side of things, but I'm out of the deepest part of the trench and climbing out of it slowly, with partial thanks to your content / personality.
I also just watched that video where you responded to awful accusations thrown at you from a year ago, and I wanted to say that I was appalled by them. I never once thought of you like that, because it was obvious you're charming and very loveable as a TH-camr. If anything, my respect for you just went much higher after watching that video. For the life of me, I can't stand bullies in the slightest, they just make me sick and they irk me beyond words, myself having a personal history of being tormented by such people for as long as I can remember. that intro is amazing. ive been binging lots of other stuff, so i havent watched much of the WL stuff. glad to hear i wasn't the only kid making the "zombie" or any number of other names for "Lets mix all the sodas together because we're dumb kids" All jokes about nuka-cola's business practices aside, i would totally try a cranberry cola, that actually sounds lovely.
It’s basically the fallout version of sprite cranberry, lol. Except sprite is a branch of coke and nuke cola is the base.
I listen to these at work. I work 12 hour shifts in a plywood mill and earplugs are required. I use my Bluetooth earbuds and set my phone down while I'm running a machine and I still enjoy these as much as if I were watching them. Thank you so much for the work you do. You've gotten me through some long rough nights.

As a local soda bottling researcher I've found the history of the sodas from the Fallout universe a real kick. Two of my characters occupy "bottling plants" in the game. One is right beside the Nuka Cola Cranberry sign nearest Appalachian Antiques in Watoga, and the other is just outside Berkley Springs in an homage to the Berkley Club Beverage line produced in that town for decades.
I find it interesting that the lore claims that Raleigh County WV was the source for cranberries since that is the county where the real Beckley WV resides, which was incorrectly placed on the opposite side of the map from the Cranberry Bog.
I say incorrectly placed in the game, because the real Beckley is actually about two hours up the interstate from me, and I live just to the east of the coalfields of Southwest Virginia. The reality is that Beckley should be on the eastern side of the Ash Heap perhaps above what we assume is supposed to be Bramwell WV, the Garaham Mining office area.
Some quick research puts cranberry production in Pocahontas County WV which is two counties to the east of Raleigh county. Tin foil hat time, The Beckley Coca Cola plant used to have a beverage line called Raleigh Beverages, with a artistic representation of Sir Walter Raleigh on the bottle, could this be a subtle nod Beckley's Coca Cola bottler? Likely not, but it's fun to think it is. LOL!
The placement of Beckley has always stuck in my craw a bit, well that and the fact that Bluefield hasn't shown up in the game, but Bramwell did...sorta? Yeah yeah the more millionares per capita thing Bramwell relies on for tourism makes sense.
Maybe when they extend the map for the Brotherhood DLCs they can add Bluefield. They have to be able to do something with that lemonade event Bluefield has every year. Unless our random encounter Lemonade selling robot is a subtle nod to that event.
I really like how you dig so deep into everything. Folks most of the time overlook how much actual detail and story goes into these games. I very much respect the builders of these games and you for bringing them to light. Be well out there in the wastelands. And I played for FO76 for a while until I got bored of it because there's no Dogmeat. I'm still on FO4 because I live for Dogmeat >:0
So, a very late reply but yeah I really enjoy the Fallout series and still come back to play it every few months. And I’m glad Oxhorn is here for the lore I miss or don’t notice every detail. But as for Dogmeat I feel entirely different about him.
Except for the brief time when we first meet Dogmeat in FO4 up until we can recruit Codsworth, I keep Dogmeat in Sanctuary with Preston and the first four settlers. I also keep him as my party member long enough to get the Cryolator. After that he helps guard Sanctuary for most of the rest of the game.
But it’s not because I hate Dogmeat or think he’s a useless companion. I keep him in Sanctuary because I hate seeing him get hurt by enemies. The yelps he makes when he takes a hit or when he’s been injured during the fight actually makes me feel bad, like I’m a cruel dog owner. But I’d expect that given that I have a strong compassion for animals. So I keep him safe with Mama Murphy and his other friends. Heck, when I come across Gene or the dog merchant in Far Harbour island I always get a female dog and send her to Sanctuary for company and breeding purposes.
But I also got the yellow Labrador settlement pet from the Creation Club so I choose her to be female and send her to Sanctuary for Dogmeat depending on what I encounter first. The second or more dogs get sent to Red Rocket, Abernathy or Tenpines respectively. I do a lot of headcanon or custom fanfics with my favourite games and so getting Dogmeat to sire a lot of puppies would eventually lead to every settlement having trained guard or hunting dogs. I do something similar with the cats that can be caught in the cages. The FO series is great for an imagination like mine.

I have yet to find a Nuka cranberry, mainly because either those blasted Blood Eagles or Mothman cultists either drop me harder than a sack of lead bricks or drive me away, and I find this particular bit of lore odd, and know to avoid Nuka-Dark if it ever comes to the game
That's funny, at least in Tennessee when mixing all the flavors together we called it a suicide, not graveyard as a kid.
Wanna have another recipe, I came up with it when I was a kid...
Basically it's
1-2 cups of all the sodas you could mix
2 spoons of sugar
1 packet of pop rocks
Mix until sugar is dissolved and then add pop rocks and your done.
However I never tried the recipe as I would never be allowed to do so, It was called Coca Cola Death

there actually is a celery flavored soda around called cel-ray. it's only really found around new york, philadelphia, and baltimore, and it was originally created as a "health tonic" sort of thing

EDIT: Thought - since Nuka-Cola Quantum was J. J. Bradburton's pet project that enabled him to live past the bomb, according to the Nuka-World DLC in Fallout 4, maybe "NJ" was a clue to that.
Nuka-Xtreme would be a good guess to the mystery cola, even though Oxhorn arguing that NCX isn't nuka cola Xtreme I believe it is.
In fallout 4 you don't craft all of the mixes on your own, you find recipes for them then make them, said recipes are located at nuka cola souvenir stores located around nuka world.
Now do you think that guests to nuka world would make recipes and put price tags on them so the Nuka Cola Company could sell them? I think otherwise.

The Manufacturing Terminal was indeed added in Wastelanders. You can't make anything in the plant until you create the inoculation (one of the most popular flavors in my region is Nuka-Cola My Blood's In It).

A low number on acidity means it was low quality for that statistic. Not that there was less of it, maybe having a lower count means a higher level of acidity.
The bit on a Celery flavored drink, that sounds like a reference to Dr. Brown's Cel-Ray soda, which no joke is flavored with celery seed extract. It sound gross and weird, but if you find it, try it, it's delicious.
