You are one of the few TH-camrs out there who can put out a 30 minute video and make it interesting throughout. Your productions are professional, the camera work exceptional and you make it feel like we are in the boat with you. Plus the MTB ad ... well, at first I thought ... oh please just get through this. But the ad was as entertaining as the video itself. I actually enjoyed watching it. Nice. Very nice.
Rackley, if you're gonna come to Oklahoma and fish, you should get ahold of us Oklahoma Fishin Freaks. We will show ya around... also, I have some cool pictures from that Tower. 😉
30 minute episodes are perfect dude! You’re one of my most common channels to throw up while doing homework (or cleaning fish😉) and the longer episodes not only give us more content to watch but a better idea of you as a person as there’s more time for you to fill in the episode, generally with your own knowledge or opinion on the matter
@@LakeForkGuy I am half way through the video and you have caught 6 different species of fish using above promo ad lures...You have DOUBLED the value of the Promo ad!!! Incrediburgable!! Keep doing exactly as you are doing Sir
best ad on youtube, when you jumped off the stairs all I felt was pain in my knees. also, have that small crankbait you got a few packages ago and man do fish wolf it down.
When I was in the business a normal fishing or hunting show was about 15-17 minutes of actual show and the rest was advertisements on a 30 min show. So any long form stuff that hits the 25-35 is the equivalent to a hour long hunting or fishing show really. Which is alot of hard work, but definitely appreciated.
I'm in Ontario as well. I'm in Niagara Falls area. In May my father leads a fishing trip with ten of us that go about 6 hours up north to Forbes Holiday Resort in Whitefish Falls. I caught a 9.1 lb walleye last year.. I won the trophy for the second year in a row. I'm hoping for a trifecta lol. What part of Ontario are you from?
Yes, more!. Love these vids! You on the lake, figuring out the bite, all of your funny LFG-ism's, showing the struggles we all find ourselves in on the lake sometimes. Let it roll and take us with you. Keep 'em coming!

That plug for mtb was the best ever. Lol I usually don't care for the longer vids. But with yours I enjoy it no matter the length. You keep it entertaining thru out. And with your eye for camera angles I never even know it's a long vid. Just sit back and enjoy.
You have no idea how much you make me laugh. I just recently disconnected from society and started camping the past few days. I'm being guided and taught how to fish, I'ma be trying it for the first time today 😅
I like the creative ad! I have enjoyed the longer episodes as it's like watching outdoor TV. Keep them up. I also enjoy your hunting/ fishing/ camping backcountry series. Keep those coming as well.
Tons of walleye at Mille Lacs lake in Minnesota. We'd always just go out to the middle of the lake, drop anchor, let a live worm drop all the way down to the bottom, reel up 5ft, and wait. We'd always come back with our limits in a very short amount of time. Super tasty fish!
Caught me some walleye eaters today in NoDak. I used all purpose flour that was salted and peppered and also had paprika in it. Then put lemon juice on it while it was frying in butter. Twas a great mid afternoon snack.
My top 5 freshwater fish list: 1. Walleye 2. Yellow Perch 3. Blue Gill 4. Crappie 5. White Bass I've heard largemouth are up there with blue gill, but I always toss em back.
I grew up and still live within 15 miles of what used to be the Walleye capitol of Texas...Lake Meredith...just outside of Fritch Texas...The lake has gone through some rough times for sure...got down to like 27 feet but it is on the rebound...I was there the night the State record was caught...somewhere north of 12 pounds...I helped net him...like 36+ inches long....I loved those days and nights on lake Meredith....worked at the Marina every summer while I was in high school and my parents had a 45 foot house boat so I lived out there in the summer.....great memories...
First time I ever went Walleye fishing a friend took me out in the Lake Winnebago system in WI. We caught 7 species of fish that day including a 30" northern and a 17" walleye. Great day of fishing!
Northern pike then your list! We used to filet perch then fry up for fish sandwiches at lunch! Crispy little fillets, some tartar sauce, squishy white bread... lakeside eating at its best!
@@bigblackchungus336 look up the five-way filet-cut of pike out of really cold water. I still doubt it better than walleye, perch and crappie in that order *;)
Hello LFG,OSG.. say hello to MEG when you get home..! I had to comment because, I pride myself in being a kick-ass camp cook! I can't hunt anymore,..so when I go to deer camp, I am the cook! I think you did as well as any human being could possibly do on their first try!!! It's not easy,...but it is the most rewarding cooking anybody can do!! Personally I love the longer form videos. Something to relax to at night, probably fall asleep after one or two videos. They go in depth a bit more which is appreciated. I’d like to see more 20+ minute videos but I can imagine they’re harder to create. Thanks for everything LFG keep them coming
On their tails, walleye have a white spot at the bottom corner and Saugers either don't have it or if they get a little bigger, a long white strip at the bottom of the tail fin
My Grandparents had a cabin on Douglas Lake in East Tenn. When I visited them GF and I always fished. The first Sauger he ever caught, he lipped it, only to learn it was a toothy critter and without respect the Sauger bit down on my GF's thumb quickly bringing blood. It still tasted great as fillets fried. Back in the 60's we ate Bass, Large and Smallmouth, Crappie, Sauger and a few Walleye. Sand Bass were introduced later and in the 70's we fished the Sandies. The Arthritis in my GF's wrist slowed down his casting, using Shakespeare fiberglass rods and spincast reels. Those limber fiberglass rods would fling a lipless bait or a Torpedo/Skipjack type topwater plug. My GF is who taught me to fish, where and how. Later years when he couldn't cast, we trolled and talked about anything and everything. Life's Lessons as he was a 15 year sober alcoholic, Cold Turkey.
Doesn't matter how long the videos are, keep them coming. Only a couple of channels I don't look to see how long the videos are and you are definitely one of them
Minnesotan here. My top three golden crispies would be 3: Walleye, 2: Northern Pike, 1: Zee Crappie. I loves me a Walleye goldie, but every once in a while you'll get a small bite of golden taintiness.

A lot of your older tutorial videos help me land some amazing fish. That would be awesome if you could possibly mix in some of those updated kinds of videos though.
Thanks for the video! In my opinion; 1) Walleye 2) Bluegills 3) Yellow Perch 4) Smallmouth Bass 5) Crappie 6) Northern Pike 7) Largemouth Bass 8) Channel Catfish. (not counting Trout and Salmon). I was about to go crazy if you said Crappie over Walleye! LOL
Northern pike is hands down the best fish to eat! Properly cleaned(fold the filet in half and scrub it against itself under running water, it removes slime and blood) then flour with S&P and fry. I can literally eat a pound of it that way. And will take it over walleye any day!
Also, I really feel sorry for you guys down there having foul tasting largemouth. Up here in northern Ontario they're almost as good as crappie, and we have yellow perch that are incredible, I actually prefer them to crappie
I've been sitting here just letting your videos play while pinning up locks at work. Definitely like your longer format. Can't wait to get back on the water!
Depends on what kind of a mood I’m in, in relation to the long and short videos. Sac-a-lait (this is what we call them in the south aka crappie) is my favorite, but I’ve never had walleye. Keep up the good work.

As a “northerner” one of the easiest ways to depict a Walleye from sauger is the “white tip” on the tail. Walleyes have white tips, Saugers don’t 👍🏻
Adam C Saugeye have white tip too
This is the first person that I ever seen to make advertising their sponsor not boring
Either form is good. Long or short. Really enjoy your enthusiasm for fishing, the outdoors, and life in general.
I seen where sauger's have spots on dorsal fin
On their tails, walleye have a white spot at the bottom corner and Saugers either don't have it or if they get a little bigger, a long white strip at the bottom of the tail fin
Only walleye have the white on the bottom of the tail just like that walleye you caught .
