- Another week, another Halo episode. Though there were less Covenant scenes, there were some unexpectedly cool bombshells I was NOT expecting. So...let's get at it!

I really enjoyed watching different reviews you and installation 00 have the best breakdown of halo Lord so I always come here for the covenant side and the other side you both do it so well. And the covenant is so rich and so diverselove watching these videos😊
I'm on the same boat as you regarding Var 'Gatanai. I really hope he doesn't get killed off. 😭 I want to see how he grows as a character, especially after he proclaimed he was bound to Makee.
He's the Heretic .. and will be killed off by the Arbiter ... unless the Silver Timeline ... differs from the Game Timeline that ended thousands of years ago when the Halos were activated to defeat the Flood.

@@xCzarly This show has Microsoft Intellectual property executive as a Producer as was as members from 343 Industries who make the games. And they told you silly game fanboys .... from the very beginning .... the Show is on the Silver Timeline not the Game Timeline.
Halo lore ... is the Galaxy & therefore timeline ... can be reset .... through the Halo Array & the Ark being activated to defeat the Flood and preserve intelligent life including Human Beings & the Covenant species.
Halo ... is a sequential ... Multiverse and the Game timeline is assumed to be the first after the Forerunners killed the Precursors and devolved the Humans back to cavemen. Game Master Chief, Halsey, Captain Keyes ... Heretic ... & Arbiter ... died thousands of years ago after the Halo array was activated to stop the Flood.
We know from the Game timeline ... that the Librarian ... had implanted genesongs into Master Chief and likely other key characters ... for a reason . And all Humans could be keys in the Game timeline ... because the Forerunners stole Precursor technology and Humans were to bear the Mantel of Responsibility to protect all intelligent life in the Galaxy.
Int the Silver timeline ... only MC & Mckee appear to be keys ... and it is likely the Librarian again ... who implant genesongs ... into specific bloodlines ... so the after every reset of the Galaxy ... there will always be a version of MC, Halsey, Keyes, Soren, Heretic, Arbiter etc.
The Show completely follows the existing Halo lore ... and is canon. However ... just as Halsey said Kwan cause a variation to MC's development ... which was deliberately planned by the Librarian or other .... because the Game MC failed to stop the Flood without activating the Halos. You can not reset the Galaxy ... and have everybody ... do the same as their previous selves did. By making MC & Makee the only keys ... eliminates dealing with all the humans used by the covenant to activate Artifacts. Makee was made a key ... to influence MC & Heretic.
See. Once you know the actual lore being followed by the Show .. everything makes sense. Game MC failed to stop the flood .. and the Galaxy was reset. You CAN NOT ... have MC ... doing exactly what he did ... in a previous timeline ... where he failed. That is plain stupid.

Im a little dismayed that Uto died, and in the same light as Jul. However I do hope that we get more 'Mdamas or other notable Sangheili clans as the show progresses in S3

I think Makee just picked up an energy sword laying around from one of the soldiers.
Perhaps she can convince the Arbiter that “the demon” and her are the keys needed for the ring and then also convince MC that he has been saving her. 🤷🏼♂️

Halo is a sequential Multiverse ...just like the Loki series .... by the Librarian or similiar "god like" being is One who remains ... that has protected Galaxy & life ... from the Flood .. with the Halos & Ark tech ... resetting the Galaxy to defeat the Flood. The ultimate aim ... to is for the Flood to be destroyed or eliminated without needed to activate the Halos.
I find it enjoyable because dumpster fires are my favorite “genre”. It’s quickly approaching the level of those Resident Evil movie where it’s so atrociously bad it’s good. So entertaining to watch both groups sperg out about this regarded show😂

This show is baffling at best. Aside from to lore, the basics story telling is all over the place. It’s like Star Trek Picard season 1 & 2 levels of bad writing and lost plots. For those of us who are not 5 years or more deep into the lore, we are completely lost.

343 Industries & Microsoft executives ... are heavily involved with the the Halo series.
This is the Silver Timeline ... which means ... Halo is officially a "sequential" Multiverse ... and Game MC died thousands of years ago ... when the Halos were activated to stop the flood, and the Galaxy was reseeded with Life by an Ark including Human Beings & Covenants species ... implanted with genesongs ... by the Librarian or a similar "god like" species.
Thanks to the Halos & Ark .... either stolen from the Precursors by the Forerunners or developed themselves ... we have an endless cycle .... whereby familiar characters such as MC, Halsey etc ... are trying to defeat the Flood & Grave Mind ... without using the Halos.
C'mon. We haves always known .... the Halos & Ark ... can reset a Galaxy ... and reseed it with life including Human Beings & Covenant species. And all Humans can be keys with the Game timeline ... but only MC & Makee are the keys in the Silver timeline. Someone familiar with Halo & Ark tech ... and the Flood ... with the Mantle of Responsibility .... clearly has set up a (new) timeline loop involving "key" characters to figure out a way to end the flood threatening all life once & for all.
Too bad we can’t just go back to when Forerunners were humans and there were no chosen one narratives. Humans being Forerunners was also the entire motivation for the Prophets to start the human Covenant War, as a way to cover this up. C3Sabertooth has this phenomenal video called We Were Forerunner that lays out all the evidence for the human Forerunner connections. They were only separate in the few things that Frank O’Conner has direct control over.
