The way James Gunn described the Lanterns show as being "in the vein of True Detective", I have a feeling the antagonist is going to be involved in some kind of big conspiracy/secret, and that immediately makes me think Manhunters. Hal and John uncovering the Guardians first attempt at an intergalactic force and the chaos and death it caused is the closest thing I can think of to that vibe.
I'm calling it the main villain for the DCU is going to Anti-monitor,because he's related to the Green lantern mythos,and the DCU starts in 2025. 10 Years from 2025 is the 50th anniversary for Crisis on infinite earths
I wanna see a version of Tattooed Man in the Lanterns. I couls see him being John Stewarts archenemy, using the Geoff Johns version and make him a fellow soldier that served with him, was thought dead, now wields some alien magic. If its gonna have True Detective vibes, hints towards cosmic horror are a must. The difference with Lanterns, in the end you can actually embrace it and make it the actual threat instead of it being just the delusions of cultists. I say tie it all into the worship of Nekron, as Black Hand has began cultivating agents to help bring about the Blackest Night.
I think Hercules could be the villain of Paradise Lost but Antiope can be a foil to Hippolyta which can lead to the creation of the Bana-Mighdall Amazons who broke away from the island.
Honestly, for creature commandos, if they are in wwll, they could straight up use captain na*i. He is the silly weird villain James Gunn would use and fitting for such a wacky group.
I like the choices and I think any of them would be good. I have a feeling that the Whaler series might just feel like Peacemaker 2.0, as season 1 had so many references to her and even her daughter was part of Peacemaker's team. We'll see and I hope it won't be too difficult to watch. Looks like I need to renew my Crave subscription!!!
Okay so maybe booster gold goes back in time to stop the royal flush gang from spreading like it did in his time he could even meet the original blue beetle
I really like that idea. Instead of just coming back to our century because he wants to be idolized, coming to fight the Royal Flush Gang would give him a heroic reason.
I’m not too big on your thoughts about the Wonder Woman show. Having gods create in-fighting between the Amazonians just seems too similar to the 2017 film with Ares. I think Gunn wants to separate from the Snyder-verse, so my guess would be maybe Medusa or Cerse (which might draw too many comparisons with GOT) lead separate factions of Amazonians that eventually get exiled. Some kind of civil war seems likely. Liking this series of videos though keep it up!
That would be awesome, Eiling dupes Waller into getting the suicide squad to capture the shaggy man's body from some other villain force, only to transform himself into the general forcing Waller to direct the team against her own superior, becoming a "supervillain" herself
I really dislike the fact that marvel/dc use animated shows to introduce characters that are gonna be in live action, cuz I personally don’t want those, and if it pertains to live action I personally think it should stay that way🤷🏽♂️

I am hoping for Supernova (from 52) as an antagonist, Amazo, The Director, Braga doom or Emerald Empress but The Royal Flush Gang would be Cool.
