LMAO! I knew what you mean, but I had to be sure, I've seen some pretty crazy setups here in Tampa, and even when I was in Germany. Negative gearing was like a normal thing to run even if it was only for a couple of minutes on a track before the motor and esc blew. But anyway that's a nice Serpent and some good driving on that track. I'm doing the Mugen MBX6 on the track here in Tampa on a Tekin setup on 6cs lipos, an its the best track running buggy in the business.
Hi, sure! Tekin RX8 / T8 - 1900KV, gearing 46/22, 72 mm tyres => Roll-out 45-46mm Tekin runs in dual mode, start-up is sensored, and then it switches to sensorless, automatically. The roll-out of 46mm is possible, because of the GT body, which has way less downforce and drag then a regular 8th scale body. See my other movie with the same car/esc/motor, but with regular 8th scale body.
Great run and video...may I ask what is the ESC and what Kv of the motor and brand..? What are the gearing..? And I assumed you are running in sensored mode..? Or that is sensorless..? Thanks...
Yes Sorry, I mean 46/22 or 22/46.. come on! You know what I mean, or not? The 966e is still on stock with some distributors, I can not help that you don't find it on an online webshop, or local hobby shop, Get in contact with them, and they can order it for you. The latest 966e cars are based on the 966TE version. Don't forget that the car I'm running has some home made modifications, to allow it to run on 6S lipo....
So you're running a 46 pinion or 22 pinion and 46 spur gear? Because you should be hitting a lot higher then 107km if you're running a negative gearing setup, so i'm going to safely assume its a 22/46 instead of a 46/22, but please re affirm my assumptions. Also where is a good site to buy one of these. I can't find it anywhere on the websites, or ebay, or craigslist. Even hobbytowers has a back order for them right now, even though the 977 is already out.

I assume that was in a negative way, sorry it wasn't meant as an insult, I was just curious to the setup.
