  • Today anyone who considers a purchase of a new regular motorcycle is treated to an abundance of options: two-wheelers are offered in different sizes, styles and power outputs, suitable either for beginners or expert riders. It's no wonder that there are so many options in the field of traditional motorbikes (also known as ICE models) - they have gone through years of updates and improvements that turned them into products that we know and love today.
When it comes to the innovative electric bikes, the situation is a bit different. Although the number of manufacturers developing and producing zero-emission transport is growing at an unseen before rate, there aren't as many options for consumers to choose from (especially if you are interested in a specific motorcycling class).
Luckily, the latest motorcycling show and the EICMA exhibition in Milan showed that we are very likely to get more options for the 2023 model year. It seems that the class of city motorcycles received the biggest amount of newcomers.
Our channel regularly covers the latest news from the world of EVs. Follow our new videos here: • Electric motorcycles, ...
In this video presentation we wanted to showcase the most exciting, all-new models that were specially designed for city commuting. They are light, easy to operate and have advanced battery packs that would let you easily cover the majority of distances within the city (and even if you run out of charge, some of them support fast charging at public stations). We also wanted to highlight models that have the top speed of at least 60 miles per hour, meaning that could occasionally be used for trips on the highway.

For all new people .. if manufactorer states 150km range .. you will get this range hopefully but you have to ride 35 to 50kmh max speed ... if you go 80 to 100kmh .. you will get half or even less range ... so basically you need 7kwh batt pack .. minimal .. and most of these bikes dont have this ... .. if your european buy energica experia with 22.5kwh battery .. you will have range ! It srartsthere and you will be happy about it .. forunder 100kg bikes 5kwh is enough ... have fun !!

I've been looking for one and it seems like it cost a lot of money. That's very unknown. I don't understand why low-income people can't afford stuff like that.

Those Specs. are very nice, however a bike that you can't buy in the U.S. shouldn't be an argument, especially when it looks fairly gross (like you made a motorcycle in Minecraft) and some of the bikes have respectable specifications for the price. I agree 90%+ of Electric motorcycles have ridiculously low range to be a main mode of travel though .

I bought the NIU MQI GT EVO. Never regretted any purchase in my life more.
    Steering shakes violently
Onboard Alarm constantly self triggers, disturbing the neighbours
Back heavy, back tire suddenly loose grip in curves
bip sound everytime you open/close seat compartement, turn it on/off, Turn charge cable into/out of it
    Sudden accelleration by itself
    Sydden loss of engine power
discbrakes are not round, and makes subbing sound on each tire rotation
APP is worst bug ever created in the history of phone apps
    Charging sometimes fail
    BAttery sometimes drain seperately
It started to rust just after 1 week
    It leans left while driving
    Suspension is very tight
    I probably forgot a lot
Niu is CRAP, buy anything else!

Kinda like the electric lawn mower that I bought. Worse lawn mower I ever had. It couldn't finish my little city lot. It mowed poorly and it weighed a ton. It just goes to show, anybody can hang an electric motor on something, but it takes a lot of experience to make something that works as well as what the pros make.

Why are the bikes so heavy!? Way too heavy for the performance. Some high performance electric bicycles/mopeds offer the same performance in a ~50kg package. Granted it doesn't have things like turn indicators, but whats that, another 1kg?
