Def would replace the coolant and trans fluid, also worth it to check the steering fluid. Once fluids are done peace of mind is greatly improved.

Love the video, but cringe on the contamination of debris from the ground on the funnel, oil cap and dip stick that you leave on the ground. All those contaminants just go right in the oil and screw up all the internals. A wee bit of care and consideration about not introducing those things into the motor will help your quest for longevity. Otherwise, just bought the same car in mint condition with 95K on the clock and will be doing my own oil change today with Toyota filter and Mobil 1. Next oil change I'll be using a very high quality magnetic drain plug just to catch some of the metal shavings that happen over time. Thanks for your efforts!

Watching your video & the sorroundings I knew you were up in MA. I was borned & raised in MA, left 10 years ago, but it all looked familiar & nostalgic.

I got one too. I'm putting a new oil pump water pump alt starter and timing chain. I'm never paying a car note again. When this one cracks I'm buying another 93-97 corolla. (Parts are interchangeable)

@@thesubiefamI could it quite understand if you said it was your pops or meant it was your grandpa’s Corolla? my folks use to own a 96 Corolla, until it got totaled by a large U-Haul like truck running a red light with my older brother in it. Luckily he survived. That car lasted 10 years.

I have the same car same year with 125k miles however you can tell the previous owner definitely used and abused it its definitely not a smooth ride but I'm hoping I can get another one maybe a couple years newer like a 99 beacuse these cars really don't die my car ride like absolute shit but it starts up every time

A for effort. I would have wiped your funnel clean before putting oil in it and I wouldn't put the oil cap face down on the ground with the dipstick I was cringing with all that contamination. Other than that good job
