Great review! Simple, and hits all the important questions we might have from the Amazon reviews! I especially appreciate the instructions on how to oil the belt. I keep reading about the need to oil it, but no real instructions on how to oil it.
Great review. I got mine delivered yesterday and tried it this morning. They do however say not to store it vertically. Best to store flat. It fits perfect under my sofa. Love it!
@unmatchedvalue subscribed! excellent review! Will the machine allow you to power on and exercise with the hand bar down? Or do you have to raise it to start the treadmill rolling...Also are you running on it with only socks on? I've read people complain about it being too hot and getting foot blisters. Any problems?...Is that what the oil is for to keep the belt from getting too hot?
@stephenshakarian5920 Sorry for the late reply. Yes you can exercise with the bar down but it will limit your speed to a fast walk. I have been doing it with only socks on but I usually use it for about a mile at a time. Anything more and I would recommend shoes. Not because it gets to hot but because its very grippy and I can see blisters developing from longer use. Also the oil is mostly for making it easier on the motor but maybe part of it is to prevent friction heat build up.
This is such a good review. I ordered one a different model that may not go fast enough (I didn't do enough reviews prior). Storing it like you do will work better for me so going to take my chances and hope it is not recommended for the reasons that you think. What I wanted to ask is how often do you think it should be oiled? Does it say in the directions? Thank you again this is probably one of the best reviews for anything that I have seen in a long time. Subscribing because you really are good at this and it was not painful to watch like some who go on and on...
Thank you, glad you found it helpful. I just double checked the manual and they recommend to oil it every 125 miles you run it. Also thanks for Subscribing it really helps with the TH-cam algo!
Yoo I just bought this and I’m going to gather my thoughts and get up early first thing in the morning and walk my ass towards my new weight loss journey!!!
The manual has detailed instructions, but basically you tighten or loosen two bolts until the belt runs straight down the middle of the treadmill. Its not a hard process just takes a little time. Like if you see the belt slowly slide to the left you tighten the left bolt or loosen the right one.
Hmmm In my opinion it should work, I don't see why it wouldn't. There is nothing in the middle supporting it by touching the ground on this model. So technically your not putting more stress on it.
Manufacturer says not to store upright. Have you noticed any issues doing so? I’m ordering one but the upright thing is holding me back. I am short on space
No, I haven't noticed any issues. I'm no engineer; but in my opinion that's more a liability thing on their part. If you store it upright and have kids, they could pull it and it could fall on them, or if you don't lean it enough it could fall and break ect.
@@unmatchedvaluehave you noticed any issues with oil leaking if it’s stored upright? One of the reviews (might have been for another pad) said it caused a leak. Good review!!
No I haven't noticed any oil leaking. Some treadmills have oil you need to add to it into an oil reservoir. This one doesn't. So I don't think that will be a problem with this one.
Do you think you can use this in an apartment to run without the downstairs tenants hearing it? I'm a reasonably light bodyweight runner...I'm 5'9" 140-145lbs depending.
That's a tough one to answer honestly. The board you actually run on has rubber pads to help cushion the sounds of running. I think it comes down to how well your apartment is built and the types of insulation used. You could also get something like this amzn.to/3uOuFZC to help dampen the sound even more.
Good review. I was looking for a walking pad but the need to oil and those vents tells me i shouldnt, i live in a dusty place with a few cats. All their hair would get all up in there and stuck in the oil
Yeah if you were to get something like this you would need to keep up a cleaning routine on the treadmill. I can see how cat hair could get under the belt and stuck to the oil rather quickly.
Thanks for the video very informative! How tall are you? I'm 5ft 11 wondering how it's felt size wise e.g. has it felt narrow or short at all when walking/jogging?
I'm looking to get a walking pad treadmill, I have narrow it down to the Urevo or Deerrun 2 n 1 with the handle. I've read about noise problems and the motors getting hot making a burning smell. Does Urevo have good customer service? Have you used the Deerrun walking pad treadmill? What is Urevo warranty? I would appreciate your input before I get I buy one. thank you
I haven't tried the Deerrun walking pad. So far my Urevo has been working great, so thankfully I have not needed to contact customer service. I think Urevo does offer a 1 year warranty.
I bought it to use mostly for walking I do about 2.8 speed, I have tried running on it and it did just fine. I also heard reviews of lots of people running on these just fine, especially if your not pushing its weight limit like I was.
I am 6'3, would this work for tall people as well? Looks kind of small. Just was curious. I am trying to find a portable treadmill for tall people but it looks like I might need to purchase a full size treadmill. All I want to do is walk though 😀
I think you should be fine. If you want to be sure measure your stride and compare it to the length of the actual moving part of the board which is 42 inches.
Hi could you please give the measurements of the belt. I'm wanting a smaller treadmill for space reasons but concerned the belt won't be long enough for running on
Can you still use it with the folding arm in the down position? I ask since I would like to use in front of a standing desk and I can see the arm getting in the way.
Can you use the treadmill with the bar in the down position, so flat as if it's in storage. I'm wondering if the bar would get in the way when I am using it with a standing desk. Many thanks for this video. Very good tips!
Hi, thank you for the review video. I recently purchased a UREVO treadmill but noticed that it produces a very high-pitched, unpleasant sound to the ear. Does the machine commonly have this issue, or should I be concerned enough to consider returning the product? I'm just seeking your input. Thank you.
We bought a treadmill that had a painful high-pitched noise as well (so loud cut right through headphones), took it apart and found it was most likely something wrong inside the motor. You'll probably have to take it to a repair shop or get a new one.
I don't see why not, if you can lean it on a wall or something. Only issue I can see is it will be resting on where the handle attaches to the actual treadmill and that's all plastic. So might be a bit slippery.
Not that I have noticed. I would make sure it getting adequate ventilation underneath, so not sitting on carpet and maybe try and oil the belt see if that helps.
Thank you, If you are talking about what's on the tv that's just a random TH-cam video, I don't remember the name but if you search "treadmill walking scenery" there are a lot of them.
The treadmill itself cannot run backwards, and if you have the bar up there is not enough room to walk backwards unless your holding on to the bar behind you. I guess the only way would be if you are using it as a walk pad under a desk, you could probably face it the other way and walk backwards. But I haven't tried.
Just got mine and I noticed while I run the belt moves the slightest bit from left to right and then back right to left depending on what foot I am stepping with. If I run it with no one on it, the belt looks pretty center. But once I start walking it moves back and forth. The movement is slight, is this something that you notice on yours at all? Thanks in advance!
Yeah I know exactly what you mean. That's normal; the moving part is actually raised up from the board underneath by a couple cm so its not constantly grinding on it. When you step it makes it brings it lower and makes contact with the board. It might move a couple mm to left and right but its mostly the play of shadows makes it look like its moving a lot.
I never tried personally but I don't see why not. This version only has supports on the front and back nothing in the middle. Only issue that I can think of is that it rests on the wheels up front so keep that in mind.
Honestly I don't know, I couldn't handle 5ks at 7mph so I have no way to test lol. They have a pretty good warranty according to my research. Also there are universal treadmill silencers that can be purchased to put under the treadmill if you have downstairs neighbors.

You could probably use a small metal plate, and magnet combo to keep the remote in it's holder when you stand it up, to put it away.
That is actually a very good idea! I might just look into that.

@2:10 hey, what happens if you don't remove the seal under the lid like you say to do? Will the oil no come out?
Haha yes, absolutely no oil will come out. lets just say I tested it thoroughly and no way to get any oil out without the seal being removed.

Not as much as I should. But it still works its me that's the problem. lol

Yeah I did, I just didn't mention it because I also did other lifestyle changes. So I cant attribute it all to the treadmill.

Is it just a slow jog or an actual running spead?
It can do actual running speed. About mid video I show its top running speed.
